My company hosted an event here and the staff was very accommodating. Our main contact was Erin and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. The event turned out great, we had about 300 kids involved in an open water tournament and everyone had a great time and an unforgettable experience ! Safety was huge for this community center too, they went the extra mile to insure that our participants would be safe during their open water experience. It would be great to have another event here! Only downside is sand flies ! I'm paying the price with SOOOO MANY BITES. But I realize they are part of the natural habitat so I'm still giving them 5 stars!

Top notch job and if this shows what they are capable of, i would have them prepare a buffet for any special event. We enjoyed your Christmas brunch buffet for years and was very sad when it stopped due to COVID. Everyplace else was open and they moved to a plated meal instead of lavish and beautiful holiday buffet. We had to find another one and it was really subpar. Not the quality or variety of TradeWinds, small and cramped and the year after it went downhill from there. We vowed we could not go back. What could we do? When what to my wondering eyes should appear, but the tradewinds buffet brunch, there on the webpage, a glorious site to See. I blinked and hoped I had not made a mistake, an old archived site, but no, it said 2023! YESSS! This, my friends, is a holiday buffet, the way so many were that were lost. This buffet is back and is THE One. I was so happy to see Tradewinds was Back!!!! In all its glory. You can see my photos. This was a brunch, technically, so breakfast items too. Thank you for bringing back elegance and excellent food. Hats off to the chefs and staff for bringing this back in grand style. I know it takes a lot of work to make this happen. You all do it the BEST. Thank you, thank you so much for bringing it all back. Merry Christmas

The ceremony was set up beautifully in a room that had the nice architecture of a chapel without the religious undertones. Cocktail hour was held downstairs in the basement area, while the transformed the ceremony area into the reception area. Staff was friendly, drinks were flowing, and a good time was being had by all. Even though the reception was in the same room as the ceremony, the refreshed set up with the tables and lighting totally transformed the room. There was a large area for a buffet, bar and eventually- dance floor. There's a lot of historic character to this venue- wood floors- wide baseboards, nice archways. Was a great choice for a wedding!

My (now) husband and I completely fell in love with the Lyceum after walking in. The venue has a beautiful 1920's charm to it. From the beautiful chandeliers to the grand piano to the gorgeous balconies, the Lyceum is truly on of a kind. The way this place functions is really interesting, too. The ceremony and reception are held in the same spot. After the ceremony, the party proceeds downstairs to the basement for cocktail hour when the staff flips the upstairs into a reception area. The space looks like two completely different rooms, but completely beautiful in their own way. I must mention the staff. Brian and Cortney were both so easy to work with. They made sure my wedding day went like clockwork and were very attentive to all of my questions. I could not recommend the Lyceum more highly. What a spectacular venue!

Built in the late 1880's, Andrews Memorial Chapel is an amazing venue for a wedding or vow renewal…read more Built of Florida heart of pine, the chapel features gothic archways and windows, gleaming hand carved wood pews, and boasts the original stained glass window over the altar area. We fell in love with this location on our first visit. It is a little out of the way, off Bayshore in Dunedin, but both the Chapel and the park beyond it are very easy to find with a number of brown park signs guiding the way. Jessica, our chapel contact, was super helpful and easy to reach in the weeks leading up to our wedding. The chapel has prepared diagrams and measurements of all key features so this information can be provided to other vendors. In addition, they offer a number of options for crosses, plaques and other decorative elements for the altar area. All wedding bookings include 1 hour of rehearsal time on Friday night and Jessica was on hand to help us walk through the service order and check the sound levels on our portable stereo. Our number one comment from guests was how lovely the chapel was and how much they enjoyed reading about its history in the provided pamphlets in the lead up to the service. It is a breathtaking space that needs almost no decoration. We went with minimal flower accents and were so pleased with the final look and feel of our service venue. The only drawback is that there are only two restrooms, located inside the bride's ready room. However, we provided our guests with this information up front and directions to the public restrooms located at the park entrance and, of course, were accommodating about any last minute emergencies. Breathtakingly beautiful venue, great support staff, and an amazingly low price to have such history and craftsmanship serve as the backdrop for your wedding.
