You're required to pay at the register before you even pick your flavors, which is at the end of the long counter. You pass all the ice cream to get there which leads to a lot of confusion and some "line tension" among customers. It's also worth noting that they don't offer samples-which is a bit of a bummer considering how many delicious options there are! Speaking to CHILDREN like that is beyond inappropriate--it's disturbing. As we were walking out she went behind the counter and started opening & shutting cabinets as loudly as she could. We didn't even stay a full minute before leaving because of how uncomfortable and disrespected we were. No family should ever be made to feel like that walking into a business. But in a pinch or a hurry it's a great place to pick up something you need but do not want to drive far to get it. Clerks are very nice, store is clean and as much as it feels bad to have to spread the word, it's Closing. Their landlord gave them notice to be out of their location by the end of February, 2026. There are many other empty buildings up and down Commercial Street but I have heard nothing about relocating the store. As of yesterday, February 21, 2026 everything was marked down 40%. Looks like we can say goodbye to them soon.
