I just want to jump in here and say that I am like a loyal Chevron gas station customer because I…read moredo truly believe that it is the better gas out there and gives me the best fuel mileage for my car and my budget. But I cannot believe the rude service that I get at the Chevron in Astoria every single time I have to go there to get gas. It's gotten to the point that I avoid going to that location and would rather wait until later in the week when I am in Seaside to get service there because at least the staff is friendly. The Chevron in Astoria has gotten so bad that I won't even try to pay for my gas inside anymore because it's an issue. Every time I try to use my rewards they will deplete points from my account. But those points never appear on the pump and then they tell me it's not fixable. They always seem completely irritated. If I have them scan my drinks and then ask them for cigarettes and they don't pay attention when I'm letting them know what kind to grab for me. Which I guess is okay because not everyone is familiar with cigarettes. The main issue here is every time I'm at that counter. it feels like it's a huge inconvenience for the person standing there to get off of their phone and put a smile on their face and treat me like I am a paying customer like I just left the Chevron in Astoria after spending over $60 in gas and another $50 on other items that I purchased inside the store and the girl looked very irritated that I asked her if she could scan my rewards account on my phone and then when everything was finished she just stood there and I said hey. Do you think that I could get a bag from you by chance and she threw all of my items into the bottom of the bag and did not say another word to me just got back on her phone. This is not the only employee that has treated me that way from this shop so I don't know if there is like an issue with employment there or if generally they just don't get very good employees that apply but those people need some serious training on how to offer customer service. If they're going to be accepting people's hard-earned money for expensive items, I shouldn't have to feel like it's uncomfortable to go in there. And yes, I understand I could just get gas somewhere else but it's a preference of mine to attempt to buy Chevron gas so it's a convenience when I'm there to also get my other items there. I will say this is probably the last time I will ever go to that gas station. I would rather put s***** gas in my car then get treated like I don't deserve to be there. I am a hard-working individual in the community and frequently spend hundreds of dollars there every single month and it just doesn't feel okay. I haven't been treated badly like this anywhere else I shop in this community. The only reason that I gave a one-star review is for the quality of the gas, not anything else

5-star for the guy who filled gas for me. I was shocked when he appeared and asked to fill the gas…read morefor me since we have been used to self fill in US. Seems it's different in Oregon. While conversation with him , got to know many details about states and city. He was very helpful and nice guy. Also, prices here were cheapest of all other gas stations.

Hands down the best establishment of it's kind, I've never experienced a more consistent staff,…read moreALWAYS helpful & truly kind. I "misplaced" my truck keys while doin my laundry, could not find them anyplace, Tim noticed me lookin around still trying to keep my cool & asked if I needed help. We looked for those dang keys high & low...just as I was calling the locksmith to the tune of about $150,Tim walks up and says "OH you owe me big time!!!". He found my keys in the trash can in the restroom. Now, get passed the part where I tossed them in the trash can, and think about the fact that he dug in the trash to "maybe" find a total stranger's keys. Over and above his "job title". I talked a bit with Fred he says he attributes the attitude of the staff to the great folks who own the business. Great laundry facility, clean store and great staff!!! Annette

I am very disappointed in the quality of the food prepared for the hot case. Nothing is freshly…read moremade, all way over fried. We ordered the Tornados. Suppose to be a breakfast item. The eggs looked like cardboard and the other items inside were indistinguishable. They tasted awful and we couldn't eat even half of them. Everything else besides the corn dogs looked way over cooked and very dry. We were using the laundry services. As we walked in and looked around, the floors were scattered with dirt, laundry soap, and other items. There was no paper towels in the dispenser to dry hands. And a good portion of the machines were "Out Of Order". I attempted to use the quarter machine and it wouldn't work to take my dollar bills. I went to the counter to ask for quarters and they couldn't give me any.
