The quote was given right away. The salesmen was very helpful and told us that the Hunter Douglas line is a lifetime type of purchase and therefore pricier than other options. Ultimately we chose a less expensive option but I think this store is worth a look, especially if you want something less common or have a more complicated situation.

They had a few issues with the process, but what blew me away was that every time I found a problem the owner immediately wrote me a check to cover the damage with no hesitation. Overall though it is a good product, it did a great job of sealing around all of the top and bottom plates, and I'm sure a bunch of other places I can't see. The aerobarrier got me down to 1.2 ach50, which surpassed my target. Their main guy was out of town, so they sent a less experienced tech. They ended up not taping off all of the plumbing penetrations, so we ended up getting sealant stuck in the dryer vent, b-vent, and a few other places. They either sent someone immediately to clean it up, or paid to replace the item when cleaning wasn't possible. They gave me an extra refund for the trouble. I wished I had the more experienced tech for the blower door, as this guy missed several things that would have improved the score. There was a window which was ajar, some plumbing penetrations which weren't taped off, and the HVAC duct work to the original house (which was square footage excluded from the test) needed to be taped off but wasn't. He also didn't know how to do a duct leakage test to the exterior (running duct leakage during blower door essentially). But I can't complain too much, as I still received a score which exceeded my expectations.

It looked new. A clue: we drove our blind to them. They will pick up, but it is a lot more expensive ($50 versus $200 additional for pickup and delivery.).However, the price does include taking down and putting up the shades, so if you aren't handy, it is worth paying the extra. Very happy with their service. Front desk person also very nice and efficient. And, they completed quickly and when promised.

Long story but will keep it brief. We bought a new home in October 2016 in which the builder completed with Budget Blinds ("BB"). One of the larger blinds in our master bedroom was defective so we reached out to BB to replace since it was under warranty. BB confirmed it was in fact under warranty but made it nearly impossible to have the blind repaired/replaced so we just let it go and simply never opened that specific blind for 2 years. Fast forward to July 2019 when I decided enough was enough. Reluctantly, I contacted BB once again in an effort to pick up where we'd left off to remind them we still had the defective blind that BB still hadn't picked up to repair/replace. They confirmed someone would be picking up the blind mid-August and it would be completed in 4-5 weeks. "Someone" did remove the blind and took it somewhere; however, we are still waiting for that blind to be returned 2.5 months later. We have left voice mails and emails without any response. "Tim and Carol Burr will get back to you" is the standard response you will receive from the answering service. I doubt the owners' names are even real at this point. Please save yourselves the aggravation and take your money elsewhere.

The sales gal Kailey was great and really new her stuff! They had several different brands and the pricing was great. We ordered new shades and were told it would be about 2-3 weeks.
