We typically use this hotel for our layovers, and it makes me very happy that it's centrally located around all the things you want or need to do. Nice hotel located centrally in Bellevue. Upon arriving in our uber, the doorman even opened the car doors for us, which felt fancy. Stayed here for 3 nights and had a room with a king sized bed and a sofa. The room has plenty of closet space, a microwave, mini fridge, and a safe. You also get 2 bottles of water, which they replace for you daily. Bathroom is nice and felt luxurious with the glass shower and the large sink and countertop space. The shower did leak a tiny bit but nothing to bother me during my stay. Didn't realize the floor length mirror was behind the sliding farmhouse bathroom door until near the end of my stay. They did lack some room amenities that I would've liked to see at 4+ star hotels, such as room slippers and makeup wipes. Wi-fi costs money unless you register and create an account with Marriott... this is the first time I've seen a hotel charge for wi-fi... They have a nice gym located on one of the lower floors, which was clean and well maintained. It had a lot of good equipment and was not busy. They had towels, plenty of wipes, and even disposable earbuds. There is no pool or spa here. Overall, I had a pleasant stay here. I came for a business trip, so I did not really spend much time at the hotel apart from sleeping and going to the gym, but I was pleased with the cleanliness and the service. read more

9/4/2025 - This Marriott hotel reached to its 10 years milestone in July 2025 with modern design at the lobby, and is a typical Marriott namessake hotel - one of 31 Hotel Brands. However, it does not have a swim pool as well as SPA (whirlpool), which in turn lacks some luxury characteristic. On the other hand, I still enjoyed visiting M Club here, which is the main reason I have been selecting this kind of hotel brand among 31 Hotel Brands. The check-in experience is very good this afternoon, and staff are very friendly. It is worth noting that this Marriott hotel is managed by Marriott directly, which is able to give members a good points resumption at 1 cent per point - Thank you Marriott! The customer service is #1 here, e.g., after I had experienced sleeping issues at a sofa bed tonight, I decided to ask for two Quene beds at the front desk at very late night. Whitney, the check-in staff, was able to find a room for me. It is a day & night difference - I will have a great night sleep- Thank you again, Whitney. Once again, this hotel has a great value (the price and performance ratio for redeeming points for a stay) and a great customer service, which outweighs the shortfall of lacking of a pool and SPA or a specialty coffee machine insude of the M Club. Nice location and hotel but sub par customer service, front desk staff, and absolutely ludicrous policy of a $100 incidentals charge PER NIGHT, PER ROOM!!! A $1,000+ stay for 2 rooms ended up being $1,500+ held up until days later after the bill finally settled. They should make this absurd hold amount transparent on the booking site. Worst part is the front desk staff was lethargic and uncaring how it held up a ton of my money. Not impressed. Also their M Lounge food offerings are pathetic. Powdered eggs, half of the serving trays empty, no forks 2 days in a row. Tried dining here 3x and ended up just going elsewhere for food each time. The gym is nice and the rooms are nice. Elevators are slow and annoying requiring a room key tap for everything. The WiFi connection disconnects in the hallways and elevator and takes a while to reconnect. The air conditioner must be on a motion sensor. Each time I left the room for more than a couple of hours it was hot in my room. Very annoying. Took a good 90 minutes each time to return the room temp to below 70. Makes it uncomfortable when trying to come back to the room to relax and sleep. For the outrageous nightly cost to stay here it's an embarrassment they have the audacity to try the save the climate (aka pinch their pennies) BS at the expense of their guests. Great hotel location but due to mediocre staff and horrible policies I would not recommend staying here unless you're rich and don't value customer service and a consistent Marriott experience. It's a bit bizarre... The naming of the hotel is really bad - there are two Marriott hotels in Bellevue and this one makes it seem like it's also in Seattle (by its name). Just call it Marriott House Bellevue and Marriott Regency Bellevue or something. Other issues: the revolving doors aren't accessibility friendly. There's a very strong chemical smell in the lobby. The elevators close WAY too quickly if you have a lot of luggage to push (then you have to press again and wait). The useless notices about not being able to clean your room when you request privacy are also annoying. The thin tiny bathroom sinks splash the water right back at you (a lot of water!) when you brush your teeth and spit, and make you bend like crazy as a result. WiFi internet access ain't free like most hotels - $15/day ripoff. Alarm clocks don't auto-adjust for daylight savings time. TV's are turned on when you walk into your suite (inconvenient annoyance). The toilet paper rolls are inconveniently very low to the ground and far away (also not accessible) - bad design. When will hotels learn? Hyatt Regency Bellevue was definitely better. read more

Solid Marriott in downtown Bellevue. As with most Marriott's check-in was smooth and easy and we were given a great room on the top floor with Platinum status. No pool or hot tub but there's a decent gym and lounge if you have Platinum status or above. They also do have a shuttle service to SeaTac Airport $30 per person one-way which could be worth it if you're traveling by yourself. read more

Why 3 stars? Because there are just some things I didn't love. --- --- --- THE GOOD: -Everything is new and modern. It looks like the hotel was built within the last couple of years (even though, it's a bit older than that). It's all sparkling clean. THE NOT SO GOOD: -The pillows are terrible. They are really lumpy. I spent my nights just constantly having to shift them around to get comfortable. -The shower, while nice looking, sprays water more like foam. I like a high-pressured shower and this is the opposite of that. -You can set the fan on the thermostat to "On", but it just automatically turns off at some point. I like sleeping with the white noise, so I wished it continued to stay on once you set it to do so. We stayed here because my friend got his room comp'd through work. If not for that, we definitely would have stayed somewhere in Seattle. Uber's in and out of the city were outrageous for how short the drives were. You could certainly do worse, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you specifically needed to be in Bellevue. read more

Located in the heart of downtown Bellevue, Seattle Marriott Bellevue is a great choice for business travelers coming into Bellevue over the week, or visitors coming for pleasure over the weekend. The quality of the Marriott Brand Hotels can vary greatly throughout the country, but is always the first brand to check in the area when I'm planning an out of town trip. Not only do they give more bonus reward points for Marriott Bonvoy members, but usually have a business lounge or M Club lounge where you can get refreshments or breakfast buffet if you a Bonvoy Elite member. We checked in on a Thursday and stayed for 5 nights, across the weekend, so really got a chance to experience a lot of the hotel, and across the board it was pleasant. Got a spacious hotel room on the 16th floor, which included a pull out couch. Some of the Marriott brands have the the West Elm pull out couches, where the bed is good (using foam and solid framing), to make it seem like you are sleeping on couch cushions with a lot of support. Surprisingly, this was a typical spring couch bed, very flimsy. Luckily, we only needed it for one night. Bathroom is great. Big shower with dual heads (one being handheld), with glass doors. Quality soap and shampoo. One sink, but large counterspace. There was a decent size tv with a lot of cable channels. The room also has a small refrigerator and a microwave, so you can enjoy carryout and its leftovers on multiple days. Housekeeping will give you two bottles of water everyday, and you can more from the M Lounge if you have access. It has an excellent fitness center (no pool though) located one level below the ground floor. It is very quiet and has plenty of aerobic equipment (treadmills and elilipcals) and weight equipment. There are nice touches like plenty of towels, disenfectint wipes, disposable ear buds, and bottles of water. During our 6 day stay, we never really saw much action at the onsite restaurant and never used room service, so can't say much about that. As mentioned the food at the breakfast buffet was of quality, so that's a good sign...though in my experiences, Marriott adds to the well-deserved reputation of hotel food services being overpriced for mediocre food. It is very close to the main Bellevue transportation depot, from where you can take buses around the Seattle area. As an example, a bus will directly take you to Sea-Tac in an hour ($2.75 one-way). You really don't need a car, if you don't mind walking or taking public transportation. The M Lounge is open 24 hours, allowing one to pick up water, soda, and light snacks whenever the need/mood hits you. They serve a hot breakfast 7 days a week and it has a small selection, but is of quality. I especially liked the sliced sourdough bread and the bangers (English style sausage). Wish they had different selection of yogurt...they only had greek-style, which is very different than normal yogurt. Like other Marriotts, this is open for all Elite members and those who explicitly include it in the rate. There is no resort fee, but parking is very expensive ($45 nightly but the car valets are always around and very friendly). The nightly rates can greatly vary (low as $200 to over $400). Seattle Marriott Bellevue is a great choice for business travelers who have business in downtown Bellevue, folks who have events near the hotel, or visitors wanting to see Seattle over a long weekend. read more

I'd like to share a recent experience I had that was quite disappointing and may affect our future planning for company events at this location. I arranged a room block for approximately 12 people for a 4-day company event and had informed the hotel in advance that I would be arriving late due to my flight schedule. Despite calling ahead and notifying them of my 2:30am arrival, I arrived a little after 3am only to be told from Chloe at the front desk that I had to wait 20 minutes to be reinstated into their system. This was an awful experience, particularly given the late hour. It felt incredibly inconvenient and made me question the value of calling ahead when the hotel did not accommodate my request as expected. Their customer service was clearly lacking in this instance. Given this experience, I would strongly recommend reconsidering staying at this location for future events. Upon a late-night check-in, I was pleasantly offered a complimentary breakfast and a free room upgrade. The following morning (8/31), I called room service to order breakfast but was informed it wasn't available on weekends. I then placed a pick-up order instead. When I went to the lobby, a staff member named Kazara pointed me to a restaurant. I soon discovered it was not the correct restaurant for the complimentary breakfast; it was a different lobby restaurant that was closing in two minutes. I canceled my order and returned to the front desk for clarification. I asked the manager how many restaurants were on-site. Her only response was, "It depends." I repeated my question, and she condescendingly explained that it "depends on what kind of elite status" I have. After I provided my room number, she saw I am a Gold Elite member and stated that I am not entitled to complimentary breakfast. She claimed she saw no note in the system about this offer, despite being able to see notations for my complimentary room upgrade, late check out and point rewards. I reiterated that the offer was made at check-in and that such gestures are not uncommon for Marriott. Her solution was to say she would "investigate" by contacting the previous night's staff, a process that she said could take "a couple of days." When I asked for an immediate resolution, she offered to see if my order from the wrong restaurant was not "extreme" enough to comp. She returned with my two omelets and reluctantly agreed to cover the cost. I left one omelet on the counter and asked if that made it "less extreme" before walking away. This manager was profoundly hostile, unprofessional, and set a terrible example for her team. Her dismissive and condescending treatment felt targeted and has no place in the hospitality industry, especially at a Marriott property. I will be ensuring my colleagues, friends, and family avoid this establishment. 08/31 update: to top it all of a few moments after I received my bill, I got another one with no explanation, which includes the breakfast the Manager said was comped. I stayed at Seattle Marriott Bellevue for a work trip. The hotel was nice, staff was friendly and accommodating, and I had a comfortable one-night stay. Location was fine. The hotel was walking distance to Bellevue Square and the Bravern Shops. I did the pre-check-in the day before since I knew I'd be arriving early. The receptionist not only was able to get me a room at 10am but also saw I was eligible for a room upgrade to an executive suite (pays to be a Bonvoy Elite!). He asked me for my preferences i.e. upper level vs lower level, by the elevator or not. I really appreciated this as I very rarely get asked. I had a spacious, modern room on the 12th floor. It had a lounge chair and big workspace. The bathroom was clean and looked just like new. read more

This is so bad, because this is so not acceptable, I had to have my first negative review When first checking to the room, found pillow has blood in them, feels like they didn't change the pillow cover from previous customer stays. Cause the blood was on where the head will be. So I thought get rid of the pillow cause it was 1AM midnight already, didn't wanna bother. So far for the most part our stay has been great as we just arrived yesterday on family business and even before we landed I was messaging the hotel about trying to get adjoining rooms for the two rooms I reserved as well as asking for one of the rooms to have safety bars in the bathroom. By the time we landed, they had already found us two rooms adjoining as well as one room with mobility accessibility (safety bars in the bathroom) with a king size bed and sofa bed as well as one room with 2 queen beds all at the same weekly low rate for Marriott Bonvoy members! We also get free internet for being a member. Pros for our visit so far: elevator access is available only with your hotel key card and it will only go to your floor and to the LL1 fitness center; humongous fitness center, complimentary face masks and bottled water at the front desk; refrigerator, microwave, safe and coffee maker in room, friendly service in the restaurant (breakfast only from 6:30 to 10 am), a responsive front desk staff. The only things that needed attention was the coffee maker in the room was leaking (so they replaced it), our bathroom door wouldn't slide close (work scheduled for tomorrow), and there were no sanitizing wipes to wipe down the equipment at the fitness center (which I notified them of). Hopefully these things will be resolved when we try them again. Other than that, we are enjoying our stay thus far with a responsive staff! read more

This place is clean and the staff is friendly. That's where it ends. The rooms are uncomfortable with cheap fixtures, cheap beds, cheap uncomfortable pillows, and horrible lighting. The towel "hook" was a round circle thing that didn't hold a single towel at all. And it was positioned over the trash can so your towel falls in the trash can if you try to use it. The toilet paper hangar is hung so low you have to practically bend over on the toilet to reach it. The sink is so shallow and angled so funny that the water splashes everywhere when you use it. The shower was slippery as hell, and there was no shower mat. The bed wasn't comfortable, and neither were the pillows. The worst part of the whole trip was when my partner tried to iron his dress shirt, and the iron stuck to his shirt because the iron had burnt plastic on the bottom. It totally ruined his shirt. I took the iron to the front desk so as not to be charged for the damage on it and told them, and they sent me an email asking for a receipt on the damaged shirt. The shirt was a christmas present from the year prior. Who randomly still has receipts for clothing items that old? Lol. I didn't even respond. The other horrible thing was the parking. Like others have said, it's 45 bucks a day to valet, or you have to walk two blocks and use the parking garage, which is 10 dollars every time you go in and out. I have handicapped plates and was traveling with someone on crutches, and they offered no handicapped parking or reasonable parking alternatives even after asking multiple people, multiple times. The room and hotel was dark, industrial and prison like. It was a depressing room and an uncomfortable stay. It was the worst Marriott experience I've had. Definitely not coming back. read more

I booked a stay as a gift for a couple celebrating a wedding anniversary and baby moon. I worked with the hotel prior to their stay and they were so accommodating of my request and went above and beyond. The guests loved their 15th floor room and the special evening reception for elite members. The room was beautiful and luxurious. A welcome basket of drinks and snacks was also in the room upon arrival -- was so special! The breakfast in the morning was spectacular, such variety. Pros: - The hotel is clean, love the fact that the room doesn't have carpet, the bed is comfortable and the sofa is a nice bonus. - Having a restaurant on site is great. The food was pretty decent, I ate here 4-5 times. Cons: - I had long waits in the restaurant, since one server was taking care of everything. So it's hard to order more things, would take ages to pay the check etc. Atleast twice I just walked up to the payment machine to pay, since I had waited 10+ minutes to pay already. - The lady server was very dismissive and argumentative. When I told her the Brussel sprouts tasted off, I was told: They've always tasted this way, and they've never had a complaint before (though they did adjust the check). When I asked for hot water to go in the evening, she just left it at the counter. After waiting 15m we saw it there. Even my guest that afternoon noticed how dismissive she was. It just made it an unpleasant experience and I was always a bit scared of being told off when I asked a question or gave feedback. I picked this hotel because it had a restaurant and this was the only reason I would not come back. I try to stay at this hotel when I'm in the area but the price really fluctuates. This was my 1st post covid stay and I was happy to see the M lounge finally reopened but only with breakfast and minimal snacks. It was ok but not everything was fresh, fermented juices, very ugly whole fruit that should have been thrown out. Besides that I do like the rooms, they are clean and comfortable. There is valet only parking but I didn't have a car so that wasn't an issue and the valet staff is very friendly. The front desk staff is a mixed bag, some are nice and helpful, others have an attitude and not helpful at all. All in all I would stay there again but not at the $350 a night prepay rate that I was charged. It certainly was not worth that. read more

This particular Marriott is quite unassuming from the outside, so I wasn't expecting much, but the interior is very pretty, including a lovely, spacious lobby bar. (It's HUGE, actually). One perk of this hotel is that it's pet-friendly. For a flat rate of $75, you can have bring up to 2 dogs with you. My dog and I stayed here on 4th of July to escape the loud fireworks in our neighborhood. We had a nice staycation at the Seattle Marriott Bellevue and found it to be a good base for all the amenities Bellevue has to offer. There is no parking garage, so you will likely need to pay the $37 daily valet rate. Very expensive to me, but that might be the normal rate for hotels in this area, I'm not really sure. The room itself was your averaged sized hotel room and came with a very comfortable bed. Flooring is faux wood which is perfect for those traveling with dogs. Sidenote: There is a large grassy area right outside in the front that's perfect for taking your dog on a potty break. (If you don't have any poop bags, there's some across the street near the apartment buildings.) Overall, I had a nice stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

I had a mixed bag stay. Unfortunately the bad really left a mark. The good: -modern rooms with no carpet! It was also quiet. -club lounge was large and well run. Breakfast selection was good. The bad: After checking in (long, slow process) and arriving at my room I was looking for water and found trash in the cabinets. Not something small like a piece of paper but old food wrappers and discarded prescription medicine. It was pretty gross and made me think the whole room hadn't been cleaned well. It was 830 pm and I was pretty tired from my flight. I went down to the front desk armed with pictures of the trash and asked them to to either clean or move me. I was told to take a seat in the lobby and wait for housekeeping to clean my room. After about 40 minutes i was too tired to wait any longer so I went back to the front desk. They told me my room was clean. Great. I was given a $10 food voucher for my 40 minute wait. Thanks. Back in my room i checked the cabinets. Trash was still there. Are you kidding me? Opened the door and started walking back to the lobby where I met a frantic looking guy running down the hall towards my room. Somehow I guessed he was the cleaner. I asked. Yup. I led him to my room where he took the trash out and didn't even bother to wipe anything down. Gross. After he was done (30 seconds) i went back down to the front desk. I was really mad. My room had cost $380/night yet staff couldn't even pick up trash left by the previous guests. I've stayed in $30 motels that didn't even leave trash sitting around in the room. Pretty unbelievable. I came over to Marriott when they merged with SPG. Sadly-- this kind of thing never happened to me at SPG. read more

I did not stay in the hotel. My experience is based on the meeting rooms, AV department, catering, valet and front desk. My company held an international business conference here. I spent 16 hours a day here for 4 days in a row and quickly became acquainted with the layout of the meeting rooms on the ground floor. The AV department assisted us a few times with some issues that occurred with the equipment we rented and were quick to do so. Note: If you bring any external catering into the hotel, every person that is in your group will be required to sign a waiver that they won't sue the hotel for any damages for eating said catering. Save yourself the trouble. We had breakfast and lunch served by the hotel catering team each day for a few hundred people along with beverages available throughout the day an one evening reception. There were no complaints reported. I didn't hear raves about the food, but personally, it was standard/simple hotel fare. No issues with AC in the rooms. Typically a door has to be opened or facilities notified if it becomes too warm/cool but that wasn't the case. All of the arrangements that were made for our group went well. I had to address one issue with the front desk for a guest checking in late. She didn't have her reservation information on hand, and the hotel was sold out. I was able to speak with the front desk and make accommodations on her behalf with them in spite of her not having her confirmation and also arranged for them to hold her luggage until the end of the day. Even the valet parking experience ran smoothly. Unfortunately there is only valet parking. However, it does come with unlimited in and out privileges. I am not a fan of valet parking so I have a biased opinion. This Marriott is within walking distance of Bellevue Square for most people. Worse Marriott experience EVER! No self-park available and the valet nor the hotel staff know the proper procedure/process of parking at the "recommended" parking garage. There's no street parking, no hotel garage, only valet. The parking garage they recommend requires you to move your car out by 8am! Not a good thing if you had a red eye flight or if you got in late after a night out. When you explain to the staff and valet about the "code" not being valid for the garage they recommended, they don't know how it works and never have used it or know exactly how to use it. When I asked to speak to a manager, the staff stated she was the manager and she wasn't, I confirmed it with the morning staff the day after. The hotel overall is nice, like Marriotts tend to be. Bad thing is bad cell reception, NO PARKING, TV glitches and not much of a food selection for room service and some rude staff. Won't stay here again. read more

Love to stay here during business trip except expensive valet parking, no self park available. This is a relative modern, clean hotel located in safety area. The hotel room is pretty new, set up well for travels. Lounge provide water, milk, soft drink, coffee and a variety of tea bags 24/7. Breakfast and dinner is simply, very few choices. They provide happy hours treatment to elite members twice a month. Staff are very nice and friendly. Degree from lounge always greets us and thoughtful. Another Asian boy from front office is helpful also. Only valet parking service is not response timely, because less of staff during peak time. Make sure you text them not tell them before you pick up car. read more

Came here for a one-night stay. Check-in was quick and efficient (less than 5 mins and I had my room keys) Room was new, modern and spacious. Workout facility was excellent, with treadmills (and individual tvs for each treadmills). Valet parking is quite pricey, but almost all hotels near the Bellevue downtown core charge a similiar rate for parking. read more

I recently took a little holiday excursion down to Bellevue and was looking for an inexpensive place to stay. Thanks to Hotwire, I found the Seattle Marriott Bellevue (which is not in Seattle...that's a bit confusing don't you think?) and was very impressed! This hotel is pretty much brand new. The decor is sleek, modern, and clean. I can see them appealing to everyone from business travelers to seekers of romantic rendezvous! The lobby is spacious, with a large lounge off to the side (featuring giant screen TV's for game day - although one is curiously turned on its side so you can only see a literal "slice" of the game...wish I'd grabbed a pic of this). Our room, a deluxe King on the 12th floor, was cozy with a nice city view. I could tell they had put a lot of thought into the way the room was designed - the furniture was scaled to make it feel more spacious. The bed was ahhhhhmazing. Probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever experienced. There was also a pull-out couch so the room could definitely accommodate more than two people, though it would be cramped. The bathroom was beautiful and sparkling clean, just what I look for in a hotel bathroom. It had all of the usual upscale amenities, and a dual shower head which was a nice feature. The bathroom door was a large barn-style glass door; it was nice to look at but did not provide the most private bathroom experience. Our room also featured a mini fridge, coffee maker, and safe. Plus there was tons of storage space and, of course, a nice big TV (with Netflix - woo hoo!). Parking here is an obnoxious $30/night, but we parked on the street (2 hour max during the daylight hours) for free. Just had to move it by 9am, which wasn't a big deal at all. I would definitely return to this hotel should I find myself needing a room in Bellevue again! read more

This Marriott location in Bellevue, WA is conveniently located near restaurants, shops, businesses, and grocery stores. COVID has prevented the availability of the M Club but I am glad they finally have allowed the fitness facility to open by reservation. The room on the 15th floor has a nice view of downtown, is very quiet, and modernized from bathrooms to the electrical outlets. The parking is 20 dollars per day but private and secure. The staff are very hospitable, polite, and professional. I like the ergonomic design of the rooms. The lobby is still closed for public gatherings bit overall a good place to stay if you need access or have business in Bellevue. read more

A fantastic hotel in Bellevue. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The rewards lounge has a good selection of snacks and a great breakfast. Wish it included beer as a benefit but oh well. No swimming pool but a fitness room with the basics. The one area that they take advantage of people is parking. They built this from the ground up and clear that from day one they wanted to gouge people here and make it valet only- disappointing in a way that they want to take advantage of guests... no excuse at all for not making it self parking with more stalls. read more

We were exhausted from traveling and came in to drop our bags before check in. The woman we spoke to was a little rude, but we wandered for a few hours and returned at 3. We were told by a different employee, Rocky, that our room wasn't ready yet and we waited for quite some time downstairs. She apologized for our wait and offered us complimentary drinks at the bar which made our wait much easier. Our room was finally ready after waiting an hour, we went to our room, and the view was prison-like. My wife went downstairs and talked to Rocky. We had come to Seattle for our anniversary specifically to see the leaves changing and we couldn't see anything from our window. Rocky was amazing and switched our room to the 10th floor with a gorgeous view. We had some troubles, but all of them were alleviated specially because Rocky provides such excellent customer service. What a crap-hole. For the price and star rating you'd expect a nice hotel experience. Instead you get no actual service, and low end crappy rooms. No room service, super limited facilities and food options, and most importantly, I saw in another review "staff unwilling or unable to find a solution" - which really nails it with this place. It's almost like how it feels when talking to cable tv customer support, canned obnoxious answers. You could spend a fraction elsewhere if you wanted this kind of crappy experience. I have been staying at this Marriott Hotel for business for about two years now. Being that it is a full service hotel, there are certain expectations. Granted, COVID has hit all businesses hard but this particular hotel has not recovered in the least. Check in at the front desk was mostly normal albeit not very friendly. . .almost like you're waking them up from their nap when you arrive. 9;30pm on a Saturday night, no bar, no restaurant food. Ok, I'll wait for breakfast. I'l get to that in a bit. I go to my room, unpack, try to plug in a few electronics. Electrical outlet doesn't work. . ok, I'll try another. That one doesn't work either. Three outlets in the room do not work. At the work station/desk, electrical outlet to plug in laptop does not work. I have to go under the desk, unplug the TV and use the wall outlet to plug in my computer. Whatever. . I'll get in bed and have a good night's sleep. After about two hours, I wake up to find the unfitted bottom sheet wrapped around me like a burrito. I get up to remake the bed to find that the sheet is about four inches too small on either side of the bed. One positive about the room. . the air conditioning is very nice. Hungry, I wake up to go down for breakfast around 7:30. No one in the restaurant so I just sit down at the bar. They have one guy working the entire restaurant, he comes over with a small, I mean SMALL, laminated menu. Typical high hotel breakfast prices for a not very good omelet. The restaurant at this point in the post-pandemic world seems like an afterthought. The adage 'If you build it, they will come' reverberates through my head as I am sitting there. I realize that businesses have cut costs. . but at some point, they are going to need to spend money on service in order for people to want to come back. This hotel is missing the mark exceedingly.
