Personally, the thing that brought me out here was because this is the only place I knew that sold new era Kraken caps. The store itself is not that big, but they have something for everyone. On my visit here, one of the gentleman that worked in the store was super friendly. He excitedly gave kids "Let's Go Kraken" flags and was engaging with them. I really appreciate that kind of customer service especially with the kiddos.

This place was ok, but if you happen to be seeing a game, save your money for the CPA store. The selection at this Seattle Armory storefront is smaller than CPA, but still good. They also offer some custom work, similar to what you can get in the CPA store. We ended up purchasing two kids' shirts. They had a decent kids' selection. I was most disappointed to find out that this place was priced higher than many of the other stores selling merch throughout the Seattle Center area. We realized after our purchase that we could have saved a bunch of money by looking around first. Sure, this store is the actual team store, but many souvenir shops had the same merch for a fraction of the price. Worth checking out, but look around first!

Ok, I am a die-hard Pearl Jam fan. To be fair, I must admit that there are few things that spark…read morepassion within me like that band does. Laugh if you will, but it's true and I don't give a shit how dorky it is. I even have the obligatory tattoo to pay homage to my rock gods of choice. I signed up for their fan club (which has gone by a few names, but the tried and true is Ten Club) in 1996... this is after begging my mother to let me sign up for 4 years prior. 1996 is the year I opened my own checking account and no longer had to ask her permission for such things. Anyhow, the good folks who run it have been pretty good to me and my kin over the years. They have gotten me good seats to shows. They have sent me cherished Christmas singles, newsletters and given access to nerdy memorabilia I would have otherwise not had access to. I have counted on this club every tour and with their extreme kindness and usually awesome service, avoided Ticketmonster more often than not and seen 40+ shows, made more friends than I can count, had great adventures and spent more money than I care to admit in the process. We all count on them to maintain this high level of service and understanding of our addiction. They are prided for showing lots of respect for the fans and going above and beyond to nurse our PJ habits. Up until about a month ago, I wouldn't have said a single bad word about the club - they would have gotten a shining 5 stars and then some.... but then came Ed's April Fool's Tour, which was announced (and seemingly thrown together) in a last-minute sort of fashion. I won't get too negative here, because at the end of the day I still appreciate and love the club -- but I will give a quick overview of the disappointment that went down: the tour was announced, tickets went on sale days later (all at the same time and only online), servers could not handle traffic, fuckups ensued -- cards charged for tix that didn't exist, people locked out, emails ignored, mass hysteria, no statement from club -- sadness. The first tour in the 13 years I've been seeing their shows (and solo/side shows) where I had no access to tickets without going through scalpers. Total and complete disappointment. So for the poor planning and aftermath of that bit of lameness, I have to knock off a star. Maybe we're just spoiled, but nevertheless it bummed tons of faithful fans out. It's a snafu that can't be ignored. So four stars it is. All that aside, any self-respecting PJ nerd knows membership is mandatory... so get on it, if you haven't.

I finally had the opportunity to detour and check out this retail business (9/4/26). Gorgeous high ceilings, natural light filled, nicely arranged and curated shop. The focus and business statement, "modern travel curated with a conscience" hits the mark. I wandered throughout with the other onsite customers. I loved the sunlight filled travel book area, perfect for inspiration. There's various fashion and travel accessories like hats, shoes, sunglasses, clothing, helpful gadgets, luggage pieces, and an assortment of bags with quality craftsmanship. My long time bookbag & messenger bags have seen better days from work or travel. Duct tape is not being fashion forward, lol. I was busy gawking at all the lovely bags on display. I also enjoyed briefly chatting with Yoshi owner, Dani. Nice addition to the Phinney Ridge and Greenwood neighborhood. Adjacent, nearby street parking is available. Lincoln Square South has been in place for 2? years now, and I love this new addition. The parking…read moreis plentiful downstairs; there's a separate South entrance from 4th Street, though I believe the north and south parking are connecting at one or more of the lower parking levels. I never tried to explore cuz walking is just as easy. The Lincoln Square South has added a hotel, Nordstrom Rack, a Gym/Sports venue, an upscale Cinemark with recliners, a food hall, and many new restaurants. My regulars amongst the food options are Duke's and Japonessa, as well as some of the food hall eateries. The coffee shop in the food hall draws a crowd late into the night after dinner, especially since they also have sweets. I commonly come in the later hours and the gates are open at 8pm so validation is no longer needed by the time I'm done and leaving. Do watch for the validation hours so you don't end up paying. If that's an issue, park at Bellevue Square across the street instead and walk over. If it's raining hard, you can walk across the walkway through Lincoln Square North and loop back to Lincoln Square South. It's a good walk for before or after a meal anyway.
