The 2 cleaners were not even going to dust the support beam until I asked and there was so much dust up there. I had small plant splotches on the tile entry which moping did not remove so I had to ask them to do more. That's when she took a razor blade to scrape off the paint. There was also a little bit of paint left on the tile countertop that was not removed. The attention to detail wasn't really there. The hourly rate for 2 cleaners is $80 but the additional charge of $20-50 is where there's not enough transparency. I did not know what this additional charge would be ahead of time. I was charged an additional $30 for cleaning products...when all I saw was a couple Swiffer duster pads, microfiber towels, and some spray solution used. I have hardwood and I'm not convinced they even used hardwood specific products. I also got a text at 205pm for my 2pm appointment that they would be an hour late. I did not appreciate the late notice as I was waiting already. I was pretty disappointed with this cleaning experience and would use a different company next time.

The wood floors and stairs didn't look wet-mopped and there was a noticeable spill on one of the stairs that I was able to remove with a wet-wipe. The kitchen baseboards under the cabinets were definitely missed as they were caked in dried splashes and dust. The upstairs shower walls also still had areas of grey residue and soap scum. I would have paid more to ensure a higher level of detail was done instead of me having to go back for additional cleaning touch-ups.

The move didn't go as planned, there was too many items for her to clean around, so she said she would come back another day, She suggested Sunday, which would be the last day before my tenant would move in, she scheduled the cleaning for 2pm. Knowing I was moving to another state and not taking a lot with me, she asked that I'd give my household items to one of her workers who was also moving and "had nothing" of her own. I agreed, as long as the items were picked up in their entirety before Sunday, In turn, I asked to be given 10% off my bill. A more than fair offer as my items were all excellent condition & brand names, she agreed. The night before her arrival, she texts me at 10pm wanting to start at 8am. "No can do" I say, the carpets could still be wet from the cleaning the day before. She pushed for 10 am. I told her, I'd check the property in the morning. Nope, still wet and the cleaning appointment must stand at 2pm. Now comes her threat of $50 if I am not ready for her arrival. Eliene tells me she is feeling "put out" because this is her and her staff's "day off". She complains that she has school events that she had to cook all day for, and how she is running short of time and wants to come on Monday. Meanwhile, my household items which were left out for pick up, was picked through and many items discarded, as if it was garbage. I was so upset at this point, I gave her the day off. My reason? I do not want disgruntled workers who make their problems MY problems in my home. She was hired to do a job, she named her terms. Within 20 minutes, of releasing EIaine, I found 10 other cleaning companies at the ready,.. less the whining. Playing on my sympathy, she apologize and asked for her job back. Hesitantly, I gave her the job back. I regretted that decision. On Sunday at 2pm, she came in for an hour, and left, while her ONE assistant cleaned for 3 hours, finishing at 6pm. Upon inspection on Monday morning, just before my tenant moved in, I find the main bathroom medicine cabinet was overlooked? The shelves turned upside down as if to show the clean side up? The mudroom, the back entry into the home was missed entirely. The shelves in the kitchen, not wiped at all. When asked, (as the tenant was moving in), Elaine became very defensive and aggressive. "Your house was too dirty and I worked on my day off!! Now, keep in mind, I have seen her hours of operation on Sundays, 12am to 12am is what is stated online. As for the cleanliness; my home is older, I've lived there for 19 years, and it was dusty. I did not hire her to clean a clean house, I hired her to clean a dirty house. Isn't that the point? On good faith, Sunday while she was cleaning, I gave her 10% discount back AND allowed her worker to keep my kitchen items. I even tipped Elaine another 15% based on her personal "strife" in cleaning my home. I hoped for her to pick her bottom lip off the floor and do a good job so I would have no issues when the tenant came the next morning. No such luck, it was the tenant who brought the uncleanliness of the kitchen, mud room to my attention. Again, when asked about the missed areas, more excuses from Elaine. She said she would contact my tenant to come in later that same day to clean... she never made that call. When asked why she didn't call, this time, her kids were sick. When I asked for her to make this right, she gave me attitude and said she'd come back 4 days into the future, "when she had an opening". At this point, my tenant didn't want a hostile person around her personal items, nor did I. When I asked for 1/3 of my bill returned, approx cost of the tip, the 10% discount for my personal items donated, and the value of the items that were left as garbage and the embarrassment of an unclean rented home, Eliene refused. A word to the wise, if you already have a clean home and need your counters wiped & toilets cleaned, this is your gal. If you are moving out, flipping a house or a broker who needs a cleaning between tenants, pass on this one. The fight is not worth the price and the time lost.

However, I did ask Hawa to send a house keeper for weekly maintenance 2 days after the deep cleaning wasdone by other team. They came at 12.45pm and left at 6.30pm. And then proceeded to charge us $655 - that's a rate of $60 per person (2 people) per hour. That is unbelievable. And they said it's because deep cleaning was required - which is false because I had literally just got deep cleaning done. When I asked her to tell me how she got to that rate, she said "it is what it is". In short, crooks. I will certainly NOT be using their service, no thank you. And buyer beware.
