Seattle fudge was so kind and helpful during the mass shooting on July 26 2026. they helped hide me and my family and about Twenty people in there back room and put down the railed wall. One employee even-stood infront of the door to protect all of us. They gave us a bunch water bottles and even free ice cream to calm down the little kids. They let us stay there as long as we needed and the manager went out to get information for us about what's going on. Overall the Seattle fudge employees are absolutely amazing and saved many people's lives and they all really showed that they have great character. read more

I don't know it it's just me, but it's really difficult to find ice cream in the touristy areas of Seattle! Anyway, found this via a Yelp search and made it there just before closing. They are located in the armory food court near the Space Needle and yes, their specialty is fudge, BUT they also have the most amazing ice cream. I got the Huckleberry ice cream in a waffle cone and it's very generously portioned and so good. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy and hit the spot on a warm day in the city. They're tucked into the corner at the Seattle Center food court and have a decently large selection of fudge, saltwater taffy, and ice cream flavors available to sample, including rocky road, chocolate amaretto, and grasshopper (vanilla with Oreos and a swirl of green mint). Prices are reasonable, at $5 for a half slab about half the size of the palm of my hand. I wasn't blown away by their almond toffee crunch fudge. It did have that delicious melt-in-your-mouth texture, sprinkled with crunchy toffee and almond bits. But the flavor relied heavily on almond extract, which I'm personally not a fan of, instead of the nuts themselves. It was almost too sweet and, because of the extract, tasted a bit artificial. However, I do want to thank their staff member who waited patiently as my friend and I sampled 4 different flavors to try to find our favorite. The brand of their ice cream is Cascade Glacier and I think they get it from FSA - I only think that because when I was a server, we use to serve that brand. You can find them at many of the other fairs including The Puyallup Fair. This is food entertainment at the Seattle Center! They make the fudge on site and SALT WATER TAFFY. It is entertaining to watch the taffy machine pull the taffy; get drunk across the way and then sit down at a table and watch the taffy machine go round and round. They have hand-dipped ice cream, cotton candy, and popcorn. They just added a new soft yogurt machine. The staff is very friendly and is comprised of mostly college kids. I've loved Seattle Fudge since I was a kid. I remember coming to Seattle Center and seeing the slices of fudge sitting in the counter behind the glass and watching the taffy being pulled. This store reminds me of childhood. Since they remodeled and revamped the Center House the Seattle Fudge storefront has moved to a different corner of the building. It's not right by the entrance anymore. Recently I went and picked up some fudge and it's just as good as I remember. Penuche is my all time favorite. It's perfectly creamy and sweet and I just love it. The women working were so helpful and friendly. They serve ice cream, too. Ive lived in California for over 30 years and still order my penuche fudge there . I will not try fudge from anywhere else. I recently ordered some I always receive it in a couple of days this last time took over a week becuz of the storm they had when I received it there was an extra fudge w a note apologizing for the delay. Fudge is fudge. It's hard to "fudge" up fudge! I am not a huge chocolate fan, but I did enjoy the fudge here. I believe we had a coupon and got four different types. Grasshopper (Amazing!), Chocolate and PB (Not bad), Regular Chocolate (Just OK) Amaretto (Ehh, not my thing). Honestly I don't like milk or dark chocolate so if they had more white chocolate I'd like that more. Seattle Fudge is not only the best fudge I've ever tasted; (and I've tasted more than my share) the customer service is amazing! I order fudge every Christmas for my brother's family in Florida. This year, I was surprised when he told me he hadn't received it by Christmas. I have never had a problem ordering on their website. I sent Seattle Fudge an email, and they responded immediately. They explained that there had been a problem with the website, but they thought they had retrieved all the orders. They apologized to me, and said the order would go out the next business day. It did, and they sent my brother twice as much fudge at no cost to me, as well as a letter of apology! I am so impressed by this company. I love that they are local, and that they are always at the Washington State Fair, as well as their location at The Seattle Center (Armory). If you stop by, try some of their homemade taffy too. Oh, well, many people must really really like sugar or must be I don't know how to taste fudge. My first little bite, I only tasted sugar, sugar, sugar. It is so too sweet. Went home, look at the box, first 3 ingredients are sugar and sweets. It tasted like 90% sugar and 10% other things. Then why are people gave such high review of this place??? I don't understand. I should have tell by the weight, one piece of it weights 0.5 lb, only sugar are they heavy. Chocolate are lighter in weight. This is so bad. Why do people want to pay $9.5 for 0.5 lb of sugar? Great fudge. The Grasshopper is my favorite. Vanilla mint fudge with oreo cookie pieces. Creamy and melt in your mouth. Fudge from other candy establishments often leave a greasy, lard like after taste in your mouth. Not here, all flavors are great and taste homemade with real ingredients.
