It's really cool that there's a lot of chickens and Vanny so you can just go up and play with as well as all the little structures in playground and stuff . I will say one of the most offputting things was while we were looking at the chickens. Some woman next to us was kind of talking about the park, not being open to the public and going on and on about it. I may be thinking too much into it although she was talking to someone else and right next to us, but it did kind of seem like it was directed towards us. I would just recommend checking in public hours as the other hours are for the preschool attendees.

We came during Christmas break so there was no one there. After an hour of play we did see about three other families playing all wearing masks. My toddler loved running around the place. There were chickens to say hi to and a cool red truck he could sit in. The musical instruments were fun for him to bang on as well as jumping on the balls and hill. There is actually a basketball court right next to it so you could actually bring older kids and have a game. Wear rain boots as it can get a bit muddy during the winter months. Highly recommend coming here for great imaginative play.

It's on the bottom floor of the Armory building -- make sure you take the main elevator in the center of the food court, not the side elevators, or you'll end up wandering around confused. Once you're inside, though, it's fantastic. There are tons of activities and play areas, and plenty of seating scattered throughout so parents can actually sit down while the kids explore. My 18-month-old had an absolute blast, and even two hours wasn't enough time to cover everything at her pace before nap time. The changing rooms and stations are clean and well-maintained, and there are designated snacking areas too. My biggest complaint -- and the reason I don't get a membership -- is the parking situation. It's a mess. There are lots of different parking lots around Seattle Center, but they're expensive, and most involve a long walk if you're hauling strollers and kids. If they ever fix that, this place would be perfect. It does get busy, especially on rainy days but it's so big and spacious that it didn't feel too crowded on a Tuesday morning.

We tried it out and signed up about a week after moving. It has done wonders to help my little one socialize, and to help me connect with other moms/parents! We LOVE Teacher Dillon. He has brought big smiles to my little one from the very start. We loved Teacher Ginny and were sad to see her go, but we are also very happy with our new Teacher Lauren. Every instructor provides a friendly and welcoming environment which has made it so easy for my now almost 15 month old to thrive there. He started at 10 months, and has made leaps and bounds in his confidence and mobility since joining the Little Gym. It is truly the highlight of our week since moving here, and I can't praise it enough.
