Swift service and willing to change up the normal recipe for special requests. Clean and orderly space. Parking lot shared with several other businesses, so it can be tricky finding a space.

Discover an amazing Vietnamese Deli nestled in the charming neighborhoods of Lynwood and Edmonds. Don't miss the opportunity to visit if you happen to be in the Edmonds and Lynnwood vicinity! Great prices and their ban mih sandwich are made fresh and delicious! They have a wide variety of other Vietnamese and southeast asian dishes like spring rolls, friend rolls, rice and meat combo. Tried their Vietnamese coffee and it's just the right blend and amount of kick! Service is fast and efficient! Family owned and friendly staff! Would recommend this place if you're in the Lynnwood and Edmonds area.

We've been here a few times before but thankgoodness they are open on christmas eve! We stopped in for 3 banh mi sandwiches, nem neung meatballs and 2 egg rolls. Their banh mis are super heavy, full with fillings. The ingredients are fresh and sandwiches are made to order. The service is pretty fast and friendly. The renovated the interior so it looks modern and clean. No seats to eat inside as it's a deli (Togo only). They also take catering orders in advance.

My family has been coming to this place for the Signature BBQ Pork sandwich for many years. This place is take-out only, no eating-in. They also carry many other varieties of snacks and food. We came here again on a Tuesday. The staff was friendly as usual, and the space was clean. The only downside is that it is cash only. Parking is easy as there is a parking lot.

Stopping by Seattle Deli this morning, Wednesday 17 May 2023, around 8:40 a.m., I saw the posting on one of the doors as I entered showing four different Bahn Mi options. The signature BBQ pork one looked good, so I made my way inside and placed my order. There were two workers behind the counter in the front of the deli, the one who took my order and one who made the sandwich. Both were friendly. The price was $7.00, I paid cash. Other items were on sale by the cash register area as well, though I stuck with just the Bahn Mi. After getting my food I made my way to my car to eat it before heading south to Ballard to get some items as a way of observing Norwegian Constitution Day. The bread of the sandwich was crispy and tore well when bitten into. A hearty amount of the signature BBQ pork was well distributed in the sandwich, so there were not really bites without meat. The meat chunks were a good size and I loved the flavor of the pork. The vegetables were fresh, crunchy, colorful, and flavorful. Sauce lightly coating some of the vegetables and spread on the inside of the bread was enough for its taste to shine without contributing too much of a creamy texture. All around pleased with my first Bahn Mi experience.

Banh mi are $7 each here and quite tasty! It's a great spot to pick up something quick and convenient. I like the grilled pork and the special with the different types of pork. Call ahead to place larger orders.

Wow, i did not think I would find a Vietnamese sandwich place that would rival Saigon deli in Seattle! The banh mi thit nuong is loaded ... there is serious weight to it! The breading was perfection... toasted and does not have that old bread in the fridge toasted taste. The veggies were fresh and bountiful. The pork were good but no grill marks I feel like the Mayo they use is lighter compared to Saigon deli. All in all, their banh mi thit nuong is well put together that strive in all the ingredients. Now the cold cut sandwich, I felt the pate was falling short in deep flavor compared to the one at Saigon deli. It is super hard to decide who will come out on top, will have to do a side by side comparison but Seattle deli Defin dominated the viet sandwiches up north while Saigon deli takes the lead in downtown seattle. Service was friendly and quick, I came before they open and they still made my sandwiches! Prolly standard for a Vietnamese joint. Ambiance, it is a small quaint clean deli that focus on a few items.

this little vietnamese deli is located in the Boohan Plaza in edmonds. PC (pre- covid), the Seattle Deli had steam trays full of fresh, delicious food and desserts. now, the hot food is limited but is equally delicious. Bun Rieu: delicious crab flavor. there's plenty of noodles and tons of fresh veggies and the pork sausage. a great value for $10.95 Com Suon Ram - pork chop - looks even better than their menu picture. one giant loin chop, bun, tomatoes, steamed egg, and fresh crispy lettuce. the loin chop was tender and well-seasoned. a very good deal at $9.95 Bahn mi: i always order the cold "special". i like that they are very generous with the schmear of pate even if the price has increased to $5. their bread is crispy outside and fluffy inside in the cold case: pate, rice wrapped in bamboo leaves. the cold bun dishes are still available for quick grab and go as well as the refrigerated pate, the chilled desserts and other cold-case items. in the hot case: pate chaud! i like the pastry for this iteration much more than the original pate chaud in the cup-style pastry. there are so many different things to try. the young man at the counter is very helpful and is never too busy to answer any questions. highly recommended if you want to try Vietnamese food that's not pho.

Cheap togo food in edmonds. Save me a trip to chinatown. I like their chicken sandwhich but needs a little bit of soy sauce.

I hadn't eaten here In years and my wife never. They used to give a nice refreshing lychee water drink with a long dessert spoon for the fruit which I remember loving long ago. Many other tables had them but we were never offered it as service was brisk yet not very friendly. I ordered a Dac Biet pho (my regular choice) but they don't have tripe??? I usually pass on pho restaurants that don't serve tripe and tendon. I was at best average but honestly not near the best I've ever had in the US or Vietnam. At almost $20 for a bowl I wasn't impressed enough to say "let's go back". My wife ordered the pork vermicelli bowl (her usual). She liked it ok and I tried a bit. Again pretty tasty and in my opinion a better dish than their pho, but not worthy of returning over other choices. Overall if you are comfortable parking in a tight little parking lot to eat average food in a little old building it's not a bad choice. But I would not purposefully go back even though we shop often at Costco and Home Depot nearby.

I got here on a Friday around 5:20pm, thoughI'm not sure why I decided to drive so far off Seattle. As mentioned, there's only a few tables for seats spread around the corners of the inside, with a small fish tank and a grassy backdrop on the left-hand side of the wall. The menu is lined up on the right-hand side and features all of the items, though their matcha drinks menu is located above the front counter, along with their new items. Staff at the front take your order and bring your food to you when it's ready. For their food I got the following: - Banana pudding matcha: I couldn't tell this was ceremonial matcha till I put my straw farther down the drink past the thick banana pudding layer, and sipped in all those grassy, earthy tones matcha is known for. I got to eat some part of the banana pudding - which has cracker bits that are lighter in color than Biscoff crackers but tasted like them - before stirring a small part of it to finish off this awesome drink that could give places like Phe a run for their money. - Eden Garden special: this is a relatively simple banh mi sandwich with Vietnamese ham and slightly scrambled - and very hot - eggs along with the usual banh mi condiments like jalapenos and julienned carrots. I probably wanted even more protein in this despite the ham and eggs already being that; the banh mi felt like it was missing something. Bread isn't crispy by any means but it is served very warm, therefore it was really easy to chew. It oddly didn't make to much of a mess when I took big bites off it; most of the mess came from some of the condiments - especially the eggs - falling off. Overall I loved this place a lot with the matcha and banh mi I got here! It's quite out the way of Seattle but lately some interesting hidden gems with better taste profiles have not been in the heart of this state, like this place for instance. I hope this place can last for a long time, and I'll be back for their other items!

Perfectly crispy and tasty sauce. Not too much or too little sauce. Great wings. I tried the Banana Pudding Matcha and it was delicious. Very satisfied. The parking lot is small and a bit tight but I never have a problem finding a spot or getting in. Good location. I will be back. I recommend the Banh Mi Pho, Avocado Smoothie, and Thai Green Milk Tea. I look forward to trying the egg cloud coffee and beef ragu next visits.

It has that hole-in-the-wall feel off Aurora, but honestly, this is some of the best Vietnamese food I have ever had. I am Vietnamese myself, and I have been looking for months, really years, for a Vietnamese restaurant in the Seattle area that actually feels worth coming back to. A lot of places have been average, or they have dishes like bún riêu or bún bò Huế on the menu but do not really do them well. Lotus Pond does. I tried the bún riêu and the bò né with steak and sizzling eggs, and both were delicious. My friend got the seafood pho and loved it too. Everything tasted like someone actually cared about the food, and I really appreciated seeing menu items that you usually have to search far and wide for, or go somewhere like Orange County or Houston to find done properly. We were seated immediately, but it was noticeable that the restaurant filled up very quickly after we sat down. The service was fast, and we ordered two bowls of combination pho. These slices of meat were tender and had great texture - also, I would actually say that the portions of meat were a lot (I ordered the large pho), which was a welcomed surprise.
