I have been going to Noi for 10 plus years now. We started from her house in kent, to china town and now Mountlake Terrace. Noi is hands down the best in the game. I completely trust her. I come in she says she's doing this and doing that... honestly I don't pay attention because that's how much I fully trust her. And this is my face we are talking about. She is always so chipper, makes me feel at ease with everything. I could never see myself going to anyone else. I drive 4 hours now to see her. Her place is beautiful, clean and such a great vibe. Jerry is amazing and her staff is all so friendly, sweet and funny. This is home for my brows. I love watching this amazing woman grow. Truly an inspiration. She truly still amazes me after all these years!

The email I sent in 2020.

It has taken me nearly 4 years to share my absolute horror story with this place for many, many reasons - but the main one being the fact that it is so emotionally exhausting thinking about the trauma that I've dealt with because of Seattle3dbrows I really haven't wanted to talk about it. I am not the type of person to slander, drag, cancel- whatever you want to call it, someone...but this needs to be shared. I originally had microblading done in September 2016 in Canada at Studio Sashiko. I was happy with the results, but when it came time to get a touch up, I did not want to drive back to Canada. I ended up making an appointment to see Noi. I understand there microblading over another's work can pose some barriers, but trust me when I say - there was hardly anything left to microblade over. I thought I made it explicitly clear when I described what I wanted, which is something minimal. I am fair skinned, don't wear makeup, and want my brows to look a little bit fuller - not like I have a full face of makeup on. I'll let the photos speak for themselves- that is not what I ended up with. I saw Noi Oct 2017 for my first session with her, and had a touch up shortly after. I'm not naive when it comes to this process - I know there are many factors that can influence a person's results including aftercare, skin oiliness, etc. but I think it's safe to say regardless of any of those factors that could have been user error - my wants really were not honored. I wasn't happy with them, but I thought I could live with them, until I couldn't. This is where the nightmare begins. I went back to Seattle3dbrows for removal with Zara. I was reassured that this was an easy and non-invasive process, and there would be no scarring and no damage. That is not what happened. I saw her on August 31, 2018. Zara quite literally melted my face off with a glycolic acid. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I was whimpering in my car after leaving the studio. My face was on fire, and you could SEE how deep down my skin had melted off. I had messaged her the next day saying something was wrong, and she insisted this is "normal" and I just need to wipe the "lymph" off. That night my face swelled up so bad, and when I woke up my eyes were nearly swollen shut. For the next two weeks, my face turned green, oozed, eventually scabbed over, and by the time I was "healed" I had massive scars on my eyebrows and most of my hair was gone. This is my FACE we are talking about. My face was ruined by this place. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to recover from this. An eyebrow transplant, multiple dermatologist appointments, chemical peels, lasers, dyeing, tinting - you name it, i've done it. My face will never be the same again. September 2020 I reached out to Noi to tell her what had happened, and she didn't even have the decency to respond to me. She had her lawyer email me basically telling me to piss off, because I signed a waiver and they take no responsibility. How can a person, a woman, a business owner sleep at night knowing something like this has occurred at her own business - and not even have the decency to RESPOND to an email asking for help? Countless professionals and friends have told me I need to sue Seattle3dbrows, but it's really not a route I've wanted to go, and I know Noi will reference the waiver I signed covers her and her business - but again this really goes back to human decency for me. I am already preparing myself for a snarky and unprofessional response from Noi since that seems to be her SOP when it comes to reviews that tarnish her brand. I also don't expect any recourse because I don't think Noi is a decent person. Seattle3dbrows has literally caused me life altering trauma and scars, and if I can save anyone from going through a fragment of what I have, opening up about this is worth it.

After 1st Session - Zara's Instagram post of my before and after taupe brows.

It's taken me a bit to write this review because I wanted to give myself time to fully heal and digest the experience. After watching many videos and reading as much as I could find about microblading, I went searching reviews for the best place in my area to get the procedure. I settled on Seattle 3D Brows because they not only had mostly 5-star reviews, but because they also function as a school. Zara did my first session in May 2021. I let her know that I wanted my brows to be a taupe blonde (my eyebrow hairs are a mix of dark and light blonde and almost not visible) and didn't want them to be too thick or have a "makeup look". I just wanted some color so they weren't invisible when I didn't have makeup on and I wanted to keep them light because I have very fair skin. After my first session healed, my eyebrows were a were a good color but the strokes were very patchy and they were a bit thicker than I wanted. At my follow-up Zara said she would go ONE shade darker so it would take a little better. This session seemed different than the first in that she used the gun most of the time. AFTER my session was complete, she told me that she did a "more expensive" treatment on me but that she wasn't going to charge me for it. There was no discussion with me before she decided to do this or explanation as to what she actually did. I left the second session with black eyebrows. My blonde/white brow hairs stood out over the dark pigment giving it a weird halo effect. I know from watching a ton of YouTube videos that they could be very dark during the healing process so I waited patiently hoping they would get lighter, but after several weeks of healing they remained black. I sent an email to Seattle 3D including pictures of my brows. The strokes were thick, patchy, and a dark harsh color. They indicated that I should contact Zara via Instagram to set up a removal appointment. Zara asked me to wait a couple more weeks to let them settle in and see if they'd lighten up. They didn't... When I went in for my removal appointment, Zara told me that the reason they were so dark was due to my oily skin (first time I was told this was an issue) and that some people's skin only retains the darkest part of the pigment. I asked her if it could have been the color she used or the "more expensive" process but was told that my skin was surely the cause of the problem. At that point I requested to have Noi look at them. Noi admitted they were too dark and offered do a removal at no charge. I've since had two free very painful removals which have lightened them a bit but not nearly enough as they are still way too dark for my complexion. I also need to wear tinted eyebrow gel to darken my eyebrow hairs so they don't stand out against the dark microblading. I will likely need to follow with some laser removal. I have a hard time believing my skin caused me to have black eyebrows since my first session resulted in the taupe color I wanted, and the second session was different process/color and now they are black. I'll give two stars because they gave me two free removals even though it didn't fix the problem. The first picture is the before and after Zara posted on Instagram of the taupe brows following my first session. The second one is after it healed. The third picture is following the second session with black brows. The fourth picture is after two removals and shows that they are still a dark color but are now broken and blotchy.

MK is so talented and patient. She spent time to learn the shape and style I wanted before preceding to the blading. The result was exactly what I wanted, very natural and soft look. I highly recommend Seattle 3D Brows and artist MK! I may get my eyeliner done in the future.

These are my brows after my touch up appointment - so happy!

I cannot say enough great things about the Seattle 3D Brows crew! They're absolutely amazing. Each person is so talented when it comes to cosmetic tattooing. The salon is super cute, clean and full of the best products around! But let me get to the import part, I absolutely love my brows. The time that was taken to get the shape just right, the consultation to make sure I was getting the appropriate tattoo for my skin type, AND THEY LOOK AMAZING! My first time EVER at 3D Brows. First impression "Fancy! " I was greeted by the receptionist/owner. Super friendly & cool dude. Had my appointment with Julie C. For volume lashes. (I've had lash extensions before so I knew what was expected.) Julie took her time perfecting my lashes & made sure I was comfortable. When I get my lash done elsewhere, it would burn, or when I would open my eyes - there would still be glue stuck. With Julie, I didn't have any problems. It was very relaxing. I didn't feel any pokes or pain or burn. Also! It's light weight & looks full. (View photo ) Definitely recommend Julie! Thank you Julie for doing a bomb ass job !

The day after - look at those natural looking strokes! The redness faded after a few days and now they look amazing.

I am SO grateful for Zara and the team at Seattle 3D Brows! Zara was a great and detailed listener, helping me find the perfect shape and color for my brows. Besides being incredibly friendly, Zara is a SKILLED microblader! :) I've had my brows done before at a different place, and Zara made my brows look so much more realistic and nicely shaped. Both my first appointment and touch up addressed all my needs -- 2.5 months later, and my brows look amazing. I HIGHLY recommend her and the 3D Brows team!

Gimnorenza E.

4 weeks later, I'm back for my complimentary touch-up. Zara greeted me with a big smile & made sure I like how the healed brows turned out. She had to do a minor touch-up since I wanted it a little darker towards the tail. She's such a sweetheart & she's really good at what she does. After the touch-up, I am obsessed with how my brows look. I love the shape and how the hair strokes look like real hair. Thank you Zara!

I originally got my eyebrows done by Noi in 2017 before she had the studio downtown. I haven't ever even considered seeing someone else since. I waited over 6 months to get in with her and it was worth it. I had very little eyebrow hair and she made my brow dreams come true. Not only is she extremely talented, her hair strokes and shading are extremely realistic. I am asked frequently about my eyebrows and most people can't believe they are tattooed! My last session in 2019 was essentially painless and under 45 minutes. You can't beat that. I will continue to support Seattle3D brows and send all my friends & family to Noi and her team. I do go back annually for a touch up. I would say my eye brows do not fade enough that its necessary, although I enjoy dark and defined brows.

No swelling minimal pain. Microblading and shading!

I've been watching this place for a year, pricing other shops listening to other peoples experiences and I have to say I made the right choice. This is the review from a lady who has (had) pencil thin brows, I've been plucking waxing shading for years and honey I barely had eyebrows at this point. I could have gone a cheaper route or even some place closer to home but when I see clients flying in from out of state you know there good. So I finally took the plunge and put the deposit down and made the appointment. When I originally started scheduling I was heartbroken at the wait, Noi is booked for the year and for good reason she's the bomb.com. I booked with MK her apprentice and she's equally bomb.com. I live 30 minutes south of Seattle so I left hoping to be on time. Now originally I booked this when I was in Denver not knowing it would book me on mountain time so be aware if you're booking from out of state to check the time. When they called me to see why I was late I was almost in tears once we figured out my schedule from out of state everything was fine. When I arrived I was greeted by a lovely lady at the front desk, the shop is modern music was crackin is was young fun and a relaxed environment. I immediately felt comfortable. MK came and greeted me with a smile and some bomb brows. She made me feel so comfortable with the process. She mapped out beautiful brows for my face and began the process. The pain was minimal and the process took 3 hours like they said. When I saw the final product I was extremely happy, I had to let my hair done and sashay around the shop like Beyoncé lol. I'm so happy I finally did this and that I came here. People say the price is high but when it comes to your face there isn't any price that I wouldn't pay. I'll definitely be back for my touch up and will recommend EVERYONE come to Seattle 3D Brown

I most recently visited Dr. Yoo late last year. I had a weird growth on the bottom of my lower lip that I was fervently hoping would go away on its own, but it never did. It looked a bit like a blackhead, but it was something else, because it was there for many months. Dr. Yoo told me the technical name for it when I saw her, but I don't remember what it is. It wasn't really changing in size or appearance, and unlike a few moles that Dr. Yoo has removed, I really wasn't concerned about it as a medical issue. Dr. Yoo let me know that because it was a cosmetic issue, I would need to pay the full fee for it. She estimated the fee, and it seemed reasonable, so I went ahead and got it removed. It took 2 separate appointments, and the final cost fell exactly within her estimate range, so I appreciated that. My growth was removed, and I needed to return for the second visit in order to get the stitch taken out. I was concerned by how my lip appeared when I returned, the area where the growth had been looked darker than I'd expected and a bit more red as well, but my concerns were addressed and allayed, and within another 1 - 2 weeks after the second appointment, my lip looks as though it never had a growth at all, which was the precise result I was most hoping for. Dr. Yoo's MA is very personable and professional, as are the excellent reception staff. The waiting room is pleasant, the checking in process is seamless, and I am always seen by the Doctor within a timely manner. I plan on continuing with Dr. Yoo as my Dermatologist for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend both Dr. Yoo and this Office. Seattle Skin and Laser is going by Frontier Dermatology now, so I may see if their new name is on Yelp, and, if so, I may repost this review there too.
