I really like this supermarket and I appreciate that they are open late. The store is organized well and it's very clean. The staff is very good. I also like that you don't have to stress if you have your bags because they always provide plastic bags no problem. They are a bit more expensive than a regular grocery store, but you get what you pay for. I find their food to be top quality, and it's always a pretty good experience shopping here. read more

Great kosher market on main st in Flushing. It's a little pricey but they have what you want and need. I was here to buy the Quality Choice croutons. I can no longer buy them in Missouri and I really enjoy them. I bought 4 containers to stow in my luggage and 1 to leave in Queens at my friends' house. I'll be back! read more

Although they are super expensive .seasons is a Great place to buy grass fed meats. Great fish and poultry also you can see the difference in color and quality compared to other supermarkets. Also they have great vegetables. Good selection of olives and sardines. Great for anybody not just those who keep Kosher. except certain deals on cage free eggs. Kosher in the house! yes indeed this is a full serve supermarket they have everything and everything they have is kosher its a little cramped but this is Queens so ok nice selection of fruits and veggies a little on the high side for some a lovely selection of breads and many are pas Yisroel if you need it you know what it means lots of pretty cakes and cupcakes and a prepared food counter offering the likes of Chicken scnitzels and such high pricing but it looks yum I personally come for the meats their chicken is always fresh and a decent price their ground beef once again always fresh and a decent price I have even bought steaks there prices are good for what you are buying and the meat is good cholov yisroel milks yay! I think this used to be the old Super Sol which was an absolute dump. Glad to see they fixed up the place and changed the menu a bit. The food quality here is pretty good. They have all usual Kosher favorites plus meats and baked goods. If you're looking to make a Kosher meal this place is definitely worth a visit. Be prepared to bring sacks of cash though, nothing here is well priced. I should also mention that parking near the store is pretty much nonexistent so if you're going to drive be prepared to walk a few blocks. read more

This is my second visit in a week. I hadn't been here in over 2 months. I appreciate that they are well stocked. They offer gloves upon entering and there are signs that you must wear a mask. HOWEVER, most of their employees are not wearing them. They have them, but the masks are under their chins. Some cover their mouths, but don't cover noses. Some employees clearly don't practice social distancing and can be found chatting it up in the aisles and not wearing their masks or not wearing them properly. The cashiers are wearing masks but the young man bagging did not wear it properly. Last week there was a customer without a mask. This store needs to be educated or perhaps they don't really care. read more

For me it is a better alternative then Aron's which I used to patronize. I've not been subject or witness to rudeness or thuggish behaviour from management :) and usually have a more relaxed and pleasant shopping experience than the neighborhood alternatives. My father is 80 years old drives in from St James Long Island just to go shopping here. We have been shopping since 2011, especially dad loves Crembo. Well we came out of the store and my Jeep was gone. I almost had a heart attack chest pains and all. I was parked right in front of the sign that says Seasons parking only. I saw it around the corner on a tow truck. THE tow truck driver said the manager of the store called him said to tow my jeep while we were shopping in there. I had to show the driver the receipt and walk in to the register I purchased. The manager who called would not even talk to me coward!!. We have been shopping there for loyally never again. I have only been there 2 times. They are pricey but I thought their service was good. I inquired about the sushi and they made me the roll I wanted fresh. I bought some wild cod and I came home to find I had left it at the store. I called them and explained I had thrown out the receipt etc.. he offered me a store credit and said if you want I will deliver the fish to you. A very clean supermarket. Meat/chicken department always smells clean and fresh. Fish section clean. Floors clean. As you can tell, I'm looking for fresh and clean. Bakery is always baking! Prices are variable, depends on the holidays, as with every kosher supermarket. Great free coffee. Eli, the manager, a mensch. Maya, behind the fish counter, makes the most amazing salmon burgers. I'm not a fan of the new sushi area but that's my preference, because they refuse to make me new sushi when their area is full. Clean, clean, clean. Overall a great shopping experience in a good neighborhood. Friendly workers, and free coffee. Their produce section has some of the freshest produce available, but at a steep price. They have some great deals on the meats/chicken, which I highly recommend. Quite often, some of the workers make a mistake when ringing up the items, so you have to always double check. The new manager (not Dave), isn't the friendliest. They open until 12:00am on Thursdays. The bakery has mediocre goods (3.00stars). The sushi place is very overpriced, but could be well worth it depending on which rolls you purchase (3.00 stars). Mechys deli has delicious food, but also at a price. They do sometimes have a nice deal going on (3.15stars). The grocery store is 4.25 stars. read more

I used to like this store. The Menchy's products are very good, an d the staff is polite and helpful. The store is clean and well-run. Then, I found out they charge $29.99 a pound for deli roast beef. To add some perspective here, that's more than Katz's charges for corned beef and pastrami. Never again. read more

I absolutely LOVE Seasons in Kew Garden Hills! Please note, this used to be the old Supersol but it was purchased by new owners and completely renovated. The renovations are top notch! I feel like I'm shopping in a very upscale store every time I'm there. I love the hardwood floors, bright lighting, wide aisles & constant cleanliness that other stores often lack. They have an excellent produce section where everything is fresh. Their in-store bakery makes the most delicious breads & other baked goods (I personally recommend the rye bread - it's so good it's addicting). Their sushi is delicious as is all of their ready-made food. Their own proprietary dips are also very yummy & unique. We love their hummus as well as the creamy tomato dip which is really out-of-this-world. One other cool thing about seasons is the fish department - they will grill any fish for you for free while you shop & it tastes wonderful! All of the meat is super fresh & they tend to have great sales - just check the weekly circular which they post on their website. Some people have complained about the parking, but I have always found a parking spot in the back parking lot or in front of the store. They also have valet for those who don't want to look for a spot (not that it takes much searching). Finally, my favorite part of Seasons is how easy it is to shop there. They always have several check-out lanes open so I can get in and out of the store quickly and don't have to wait in lines - this is really the most important part to me because I hate waiting in lines. Seasons really brings something special to the kosher Kew Garden Hills population and I will continue to go there & support them as long as they keep this quality up. Love it! read more

Seasons is a great shopping experience. I've been on a number of occasions and appreciate the ambiance of the store. The folks who work there are very knowledgeable about the foods and their ingredients. It has an excellent selection of Kosher Foods. I found the produce decent, although the selection a little small, but great for its close competition. Parking is a bit difficult, you can park on Main Street but there are not a lot of spots and it's metered. Better to go during the day. Also, I'd recommend going in particular for kosher foods. That's its specialty and what it does best. It's not a replacement if you are buying a large number of non-kosher foods. read more

I love Seasons. The store is clean. You can find any kosher product you're looking for. They have a great selection of items and the pre-made food is delicious. I often prefer to buy my challah here, and the everything challah is amazing. It's made fresh, set out on racks, ready to be picked. Their prepared foods are great, with a huge selection and very knowledgeable staff. My husband is a huge fan of their chicken nuggets, and picks up a pound regularly. We do a good amount of shopping here, although we do find the prices to be a bit high specifically on produce. read more

Please be very, very careful when shopping at Seasons in Queens. Seasons is not abiding by the social distancing and mask laws intended to keep us safe during the pandemic. I was in Seasons this morning and saw 1 employee without a mask. Another employee was stocking the shelf so close to me he bumped into me. When I asked him to move 6 feet away from me to I could get the product I needed from the shelf he moved 1 foot away from me. I asked to speak to the manager so I could request the manager to train his employees on the current laws. The manager came over to me wearing his mask pulled down so his nose and mouth were exposed and stood 1 foot away from me. I asked the manager to put on his mask properly and to move 6 feet away from me and he just stood there (without moving) staring at me as if I had said something strange rather than simply asking him to comply with the law. Seasons, PLEASE train your employees to comply with the current pandemic mask wearing and social distancing laws so your employees do not spread the virus to your customers. Seasons, please update your customers when it is safe for us to resume patronizing your store again. P.S. I posted this on Seasons' Facebook page to warn potential customers to be careful when visiting Seasons and my post was deleted in less than 1 minute. #1 WORST GROCERY STORE IN NY (ALSO GUY WITH ORANGE SIDE LOCKS MANAGER NEEDS TO BE FIRED) No Just No. The Manager with the Orange Side Locks Needs to Be Fired Period. Literally went into the store and they were all standing in the entrance door way making it unable to pass. When I went in the Side Lock Guy Was Rude and Disrespectful Asking Me If I Thought I was Smart and That He Didn't Need My Money....Um....I literally just walked through the door and this guy is cussing me out. I have never in my life walked into a store and had anyone ever do that. He should be fired. Not only that, I was trying to shop and mind my own business and literally half of the store aisles are blocked off with some cheap foam board. I asked to buy some products and this same guy who cussed me out for no reason then had to open this blocked off section just for me to go into. He kept trying to explain about holidays but Sir, that is no way to treat your customers and people who are not Jewish need to shop in other parts of your store and that is no way to run a business by boarding aisles of food up just for holiday purposes. Anyone who is religious is smart enough to observe their own rules and not everyone is the same religion or race either. There are multiple races and religions shopping at this store and there is no right to either racially or religiously discriminate let alone cuss all your customers out.....Honestly on top of it saying you don't need people's money you might as well just close the store down. Whoever owns this place needs to fire him period. The rest of the staff was helpful but he is a thorn in the side of your business and will loose you well paying and loyal customers for his unfiltered and unrestrained attitude. Being abusive to customers is not customer service. I have never been so disgusted by a shop employee. Please avoid this place....Also some of the produce is so disorganized you can't actually tell the price and another employee have me something that was double the price of what was stated. A non Passover item was in my bags and I was charged for it. By accident the item and receipt ended up in a wet bag so the receipt ink smudged. They accused of trying to return an item I didn't buy and bring non Kosher for Passover into their store. They spoke in Spanish in front of me. over a $5.00 item they lost a customer. It happened in the Scarsdale store. The receipt had a clear bar code but they claim isn't scanable. Thanks for ruining my holiday....... hope you have a good one!! read more

I find seasons to be very clean and has great produce. The staff are extremely helpful and are very eager to help you. I also find that they are very aggressive which I know in business is necessary however when I don't want to taste the sample at the deli counter than I don't want to taste it! I also find their prices are escaladed as well as some staff controlling the areas such as the deli and the bakery don't quite know what they are doing. I still enjoy my experience there I just think there is room for improvement. read more

At the butcher department ordered fresh meat to be cleaned & sliced. The package was marked as 5.2 lbs. @ 10.99 lb. got home didn't feel like 5.2lbs. had it weighed turned out to be 2.4lbs. a difference of over $30.00. Brought it back to Seasons had a argument they could not explain the discrepancy. A beautiful store with a bunch of crooks running the business. If you are buying anything by weight stop at a scale before you pay. Better yet go somewhere else to shop. read more

They have a great selection of kosher foods. The produce is good and the store is clean. Nice selection of teas and jams. We usually stop in when we are here for Naomis falafel. I went in today - asked at their deli counter for 1/8th pound of corn beef - when I looked at the cost it was $9.74 which at $24.95 a pd was way more then 1/8th of a pound. The guy did not know what an 1/8th of a pound was and how to get that amount, so he wanted to know how many slices I wanted. This ALWAYS happens @ Seasons, they give you more than asked for as they are desperate to bring money in. I was very upset and went to the owner of the deli. He threw me out of the store and the WORST was he chased me like a STORM TROPER to my car & took pictures of my car plate. My grandparents told me that the Storm troopers did the same in Germany - they would follow people home to see where the Jews lived Shame on Seasons - go to Aaron's as we have choices. I went to Aaron's asked for an 1/8th of a pound and was charged $3.89 which was for an 1/8th of a pound. Seasons is always empty as more and more people are being overcharged but the WORST are their STORM TROOPER tactics. I highly recommend to shop in this place. All items are very organized - from vegetables and fruits to dairy items and then bakery staff. You can also find a very good catering tasty and freshly made. There are many cashiers open and each of them has a packing helper so it makes it easy for you to get out faster.
