    Marino's supporting the community.

A staple in the North Flushing area, this place is an old school Italian market stocking imported Italian goods, ranging from specialty cheeses, cured meats, pastas, marinara sauces, olives, breads and select Italian treats. Everything in the deli is fresh and put out daily. The employees are fast and cut the meat any way you want it. There are many options, you can't go wrong. Other grocery items, such as the basics; dairy, meats, fish, detergent, paper towels, coffee - one could easily make this a one-stop shopping excursion. Do yourself a favor and try the house made cheeses, I guarantee you'll be coming back for years. A business is always great when management can maintain a relationship with the community as evident by the manager (sorry, didn't get his name) coming out to give money to support the local Boys Scouts as the kids were fundraising outside the store.

I was recommended to this market, Marino's located in a fine neighborhood. the whole shop was neat and organized, they have got everything, a lots of imported goods, noticeably many items from Italy. At the dairy, the counters were very proud themselves and indeed a lots of amazing stuffs and I will explore further next time.

I live in the Midwest. We don't have places like this and the ones we do have aren't as large and don't have this vast of a selection. The amount of premade salads and marinated peppers was amazing. There was any kind of Italian meat available. I went shopping with my friend in order to pick up some ingredients to make pizzas at home. The meatballs from Marino's were to die for. Great store.

One of the worst supermarkets!!! The selling junk and is extremely expensive compared to other places!! Service is very bad too!! Don't waste your money with them !

I give this place a solid 3.5 stars. The store is on the small side and the grocery part is simply ok. Nothing spectacular. Where they do shine is their meat section and deli counter. The pre-made food is simply delicious and the Italian imports are even better. Plus 18.99 for imported prosciutto is a win any day of the week. And they slice it so thin you can see through it without it falling apart. Although I've been to better Italian groceries this one does the job just fine.

Ask the Community - Marino's Supermarket

When will Marino's Supermarket open at 46-07 Hollis Court Boulevard, Auburndale, NY (formerly D'Alessandro's Meat Center). Internet says it was supposed to open in June, 2019, but it is now September, and can't find anything new on the internet?

Leslie, Our original plan was for a June opening. However, we hit a number of obstacles in the process and have been delayed about six months. Current plan - assuming…

The menu is HUGE! The printed one is 4 pages long, all in a tiny font. Different variations of breaded chicken cutlet, grilled chicken, roast beef, pastrami, corned beef, turkey are combined with American cheese, mozzarella, muenster, provolone, pepper jack on rolls and heroes to make some awesome sandwiches. Toss in some balsamic, honey mustard, bacon, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, red peppers, lettuce, tomato & mayo and you'll have lunch for days. Most of the sandwiches are named by their contents like the Buffalo Chx, but many have unique names like the Corona, the Fat Cat or the Gimp. Then you have names to honor the 24 hr workers like the NYPD, FDNY & DSNY. Don't forget about the hamburger section of the menu, which has like 36 items listed. I'm not exactly sure what a Twin Chzburger Deluxe Couch is, but I have an idea and it kinda scares me. Cherry Valley is a little out of the way here in Northern Whitestone, Queens, which is why I haven't come here before, but I'm going to have to make it a personal mission to come back and try everything. If I'm going to be able to get through the entire menu in what's left of my lifetime, I gotta get started yesterday.

To my horror i had been consuming an ungodly amount of mold with every bite of that horrible croissant. Only god knows how long it had been sitting out. Of course when I noticed this I went back to the deli to tell them. All they could do is give me my 4$ back and tell me to go to a doctor. Now where I messed up is giving them the croissant back instead of sending it off to the health department. Mind you I had a 14 hour flight a few days after this visit to LENNY'S. Horrific! This croissant made me ill of course, and to this day I cannot eat chocolate croissants, I can still feel the webs of mold in my throat. My go to is the steak, cheese and egg hero - super great and the steak they use is actually steak cuts and not roast beef like other delis will advertise steak as.
