I'm so grateful I chose David for my wedding! He listened to everything I wanted and then added his knowledge and incredible design. As a result, I has the most beautiful wedding and reception. He did such a great job interpreting my view into a breathtaking wedding. He was so fun to work with. He has a hilarious sense of humor and was so great at making sure this bride had zero stress when it came the decor. My bouquet was insanely beautiful and he even inputted the single carnation i requested for my now husbands late mom. He also set up a memorial table for my late brother and my hubands mother. It brought comfort and tears to many eyes. The flower girl halos were whimsical and so gorgeous. Our little girls were so excited to look like princesses. David was professional and so was his staff. Our photographer was extremely late at no fault to David but he kept us all calm and even stepped up to make phone calls to them and started taking pictures of us getting ready and before the ceremony with his own cell phone and ours. He reassured us that no wedding goes off without a hitch and helped us make light of the situation. He did whatever it took to accomplish my vision and it was more beautiful than I could ever have dreamed. It literally took our breath away!! We found David at the D.I.Y. bridal expo and the lady representing his company talked so very highly of David, she was even using him for her upcoming wedding, so we scheduled to sit down with him. At this first meeting, we discussed all of what we wanted, one of the big needs was an outdoor white tent. We received a quote of about $3,000. We mentioned that we may go to a different vendor for florals, and he was very put off by this. We were very pleased at this number, surprised at all that we could receive at that price, and decided to schedule a second meeting where we could view a line item and finalize paperwork. When we arrived, David was walking around the shops nearby and as we walked in, he gasped as is surprised to see us. He explained that we were not on his assistants books, but he could have sworn that we had an appointment that afternoon. This was our first red flag. He was extremely unorganized, and throughout the appointment, he would have to get up and leave the store to figure out something on the side. Prior to walking in to the meeting, we read his google reviews. Many were fans of David, but two in particular took their time to write a detailed review about their awful experiences with David. Between the two, it was mentioned that the staff was late to the ceremony and reception, the bouquet showing up minutes before walking down the aisle, wrong table cloth colors, wrong floral colors, ect. As a bride and her family, this was extremely concerning and needed to be brought up. When a member of our group began to ask David about the reviews, he cut them off and began a rant about the previous customers, made a very racist remark toward them, bashed on their wedding party, and cussed multiple times. During his rant, he also mentioned multiple times that he "does not need our business". He explained that there are two sides to every story, and we did not deny that, but the way the conducted himself, yelling and cursing, was not professional in the least. Once he was done talking, it was mentioned that we should move on from that topic, and he looked at the person who brought up the reviews and said, "Well this one still has a craw up her butt", his words exactly. Never mind the way he conducted himself, but when we received our line item, the total was $9,716.06!! This is more than 3X what we were quoted, and this did not even include the tent! He blamed that large number on us because of our floral requests, but in the first meeting, he was pleased by our floral request because there is only one bridesmaid and one groomsman. Once we said that that was not what was discussed, he said that he would go to the computer to see what he could do. After cutting down on decorations, lights, linen quality, the final price was $5,904.04, nearly double our original quote. read more

I love David! And through planning my wedding we have become close friends. David did all of the florals and decor for me and my husband's wedding and reception and it turned out beautiful! He really listens and goes through every detail to make sure everything is what you want and how you want it. He is extremely talented and very kind. He has a great sense of humor which helps lighten the mood when wedding planning can easily become overwhelming and stressful. I met David at the bridal expo in January 2018. I loved how his booth was set up and enjoyed visiting with him. I was called by an employee to come in and visit about my daughter's fall wedding. My daughter and I went to the appointment and were pleased at his suggestions after we told him what type of decorations, tables, chairs etc. that we wanted. I gave him a budget of $3-4,000 hoping we would be pleased with what that amount of money would get us. When we went back after he had completed the invoice, it was over $7,000. I immediately started taking stuff away to make it more affordable. That did not sit well with David. He promised me that I would walk in and be dazzled! On our last visit I went over the invoice and still found problems. I deleted flowers as there were no bridal attendants, and groomsmen. I still ended up paying for them. I said I had a contemporary white leather sectional coming for seating and to cancel the love seats. He stated he had two new chairs that would be nice so I agreed not knowing he would charge me the same amount for the chairs, as the loveseats. The week before, I texted him a picture of the tables to be sure I was getting the eucalyptus garlands that I had been charged dearly for, and he responded yes! The day of the wedding.... when I should have been enjoying our day at Little America with the girls, I get a frantic call from my niece that there is no eucalyptus garland anywhere. An oversight he stated, and that his assistant was on it. It was such a disaster that my niece finally asked if she could take over and she started pulling eucalyptus from the pots to get the tables finished. (She does weddings in another city). David's assistant was clueless and didn't know what to do. Half the back drop draping was backwards, she never changed out of cut off Levi's and she was the wedding coordinator that i had paid for. I had to get the procession started myself. Whenever I needed something I had to go to the parking lot to find her. Thank Goodness my niece preformed a miracle on the tables and got things whipped in to shape. It was a beautiful evening despite the lack of professionalism from David. He didn't even bother to show his face! Be aware, his harvest tables, chairs, and especially his florals are twice the cost of others. His florals aren't even that great, minimal flowers and a $200 price tag for a very small bridal bouquet. I guess spending just over $5,000.00 on decorations doesn't get you a professional. BTW I have done interior design for years so this is what I do very well....David stated that I could micromanage him....boy how I wished I had ! I wish I could share 1,000 pictures of our wedding day because David and his team's work was AMAZING! We absolutely loved working with him! He did my sister's wedding earlier last year and when we got engaged, there was no doubt that we were going to end up working with him as well! He has a very big personality and a HUGE heart. He has an eye for design and absolutely made all of my wildest dreams come true with our wedding. With the magic he does, it does come at a price, but it was completely worth it. The flowers were beautiful and he worked so well with our venue and making it just our taste and adding our own touch to it. Pictures do not do his beauty justice. His team was there and when we arrived from the Temple, it was all ready to go, flowers and everything. They had everything set up so we did not have to worry about a thing. We had a two hour drive from the temple to the reception and I was SO glad that we had David there to keep things under control. It was utterly beautiful and my wedding day will forever be one of the most wonderful and beautiful days of my life and thanks to David, a less stressful day for my family and I. read more

Over the past few years, I have catered a handful of events that David just so happened to be hired for the decor. I have always loved loved loved his work and told myself that I couldn't wait to use him for my own wedding (whenever that may be)..... Well that day has recently come and gone and it couldn't have been anymore perfect!!!! From day one he knew my vision, my wants, my needs and nailed it!!! The decor and flowers were absolutely amazing and perfect! It looked like he spent hours and hours when he was done with the decor!! He even went out of his way to purchase some different oversized king and queen style of chairs that I wanted for my head table, because I wasn't a big fan of the ones he had in stock. He totally surprised me on my wedding day with an exact pair that I visioned and dreamed of!!!! He really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and took all the stress away from me!!
