I was a long-term customer of this plumbing company for about a year and a half and paid for their monthly VIP membership program for priority service and discounts. During that time, the same technician frequently performed work at my home. I later found myself being attacked online by the wife of that technician, who referenced personal information about me and my home that had only been shared while he was working inside my house. Learning that information discussed during service visits had apparently made its way outside of a professional setting raised serious concerns about customer privacy. What was even more troubling was the company's response when I contacted them about it. I reached out because I was upset and believed the situation warranted attention and accountability. Instead of looking into the concern or attempting to address it, the company immediately cancelled my membership and dropped me as a customer. After being a paying member and loyal customer for well over a year, it was extremely disappointing to see the company choose to remove the customer rather than address a legitimate privacy concern. That experience left me questioning whether customer trust and accountability are truly priorities when problems arise. read more

I've been a customer for over two years and have been paying for the monthly prevention plan, which promises priority service. I scheduled a service call a week in advance to fix a toilet, but no one came on the scheduled day. Dispatch did call twice to say no one had been assigned yet, but the issue was never resolved. I rescheduled for the next day with a preference for arrival before noon, yet no one showed before that time again. At that point, I cancelled all services. As a loyal, paying customer, I expected far better reliability and follow-through. If a company offers a priority plan, it should honor that commitment. read more

I'm very disappointed. I've used Seaside Plumbing twice before when I had problems with my well pump and I was very satisfied, but recently I called them about an upstairs leak in my bathroom, and after their visit I don't think I'll call them again. First, there was a lot of hassle waiting for them to come, it took two days that I had to sit around the house waiting. When they arrived the two plumbers were very friendly and I have no complaint about them -- but right off they said it would cost an extra $400 to remove the ceiling drywall, so I got out a saw and removed it myself. It was easy to see where the leak was coming from once the ceiling drywall was removed. Then one of the plumbers started wandering around, wanting to look at the well, then look under the house -- I wasn't sure what he was doing, and he told me later he was surveying the home for their membership program. I said I didn't ask for that -- I needed to get a leak fixed so I could use my upstairs bathroom. They went into their van for at least 20 minutes, and came back with a quote that was almost a thousand dollars to fix the leak. I told them I thought that was unreasonable, and told them I'd fix it myself. They went back to the van for a few minutes, came back and said they 'wanted to help' and could do it for $500. I asked them to leave. I don't believe the workers were bad people, but from the first two visits I had to the most recent visit, it seems like this business has implemented new policies designed to fleece their customers. Like I said, I'm very disappointed. I don't think I could trust a quote from this company again. Oh, and I hired someone else who came highly recommended from a local realtor -- they fixed it for under $200. When I told them about my experience with Seaside they just chuckled.... read more

Called during an emergency. Showed up 6 hours later. They did clear the clog but unsold me for a New drain pipe. They charged at least $1,500 more than going rate, i found out, and they only fixed one part of my drain. They broke the other part of the drain off and wanted to charge me another 2k to complete the job. They left me with a leaking drain and no water pressure. When I called to speak the owner or manager, they were "away" on vacation. They took my money and ran. Nice techs though. Gave me a calendar. Never again. Extremely disappointed and now broke. ENTIRELY TERRIBLE. Bottom line upfront - don't think an appointment means they will come or know what they are doing. Full Story: I've used Seaside Plumbing three times. The first time was great - so great I agreed to get a service contract to "put me at the head of the list for service." The second visit was to fix a toilet that ran continuously. Shortly after the plumber (Dylan) left it started to run again and a stopper he "fixed" in my sink was fixed by simply taking the stopper plug out and leaving it on my sink rather than replacing the strap. I called the office and back he came. This was a bad service but I chocked it up to everyone can have a bad day. Well today takes the cake. Seaside WILL NOT give you an arrival window when you book or in the morning. I came from Maryland to meet someone to work on my outdoor shower. I waited and waited until 3pm with no call. I called and was finally I was passed to dispatch who started to tell me they were too busy to come but maybe they could come "tomorrow." Since I need to be back in Maryland, I took the entire day off work AND I have a service contract that should put me first on the list I couldn't believe what I was being told. It is 4:30 - I called and guess what A BOT answered. When I asked if it was a BOT she said yes, but she could "take a message." The dispatcher, Michelle told me that there were 75,000 members and they all have priority. Of course I'm sure that was said in error. i find a Clerical error to also be misleading as their answering service verified by my address that I was, indeed the target of the erroneous appointment notification and also receiving a welcome package into their program. Very discerning that they couldn't just apologize without shifting a portion of the Blame on me. I would have much rather received an apology that said yea we messed up, sorry for the inconvenience we caused , it will not happen again and will send along a coupon for a discounted service to assure me of your sincerity. I would never accept anything from these people but it would have demonstrated to others their resolve to make things right. Seaside plumbing does not deserve to be in business. They're incredibly expensive and sell you things you don't need. When I contacted them two years after an install to say it was no longer working they told me they could not take care of it for six months. When I wrote on social media about this experience of having to wait six months, they wrote back on social media they would get in touch with me ASAP. But that was just for show. They never contacted me. In short, they're expensive sell your things you don't need. Don't back up there service and then lie on social media to cover up. read more

I have had a service contract with this company for three years. They have installed about $15,000 in the house for various items. They installed a tankless water system and water softening system two years ago, well at least I thought they did. My three (3) years old tankless water system is leaking. I was told its a heating element and will be $2400 to fix. HUH???? They service my tankless water system every year and never saw any issues but today....The only thing they could offer me was a new Rinnai Tankless Water System to the tune $5400. Since it is under warranty(for 15 years) with the manufacturer I could file a claim and then they could come back and fix it, for a fee of course, and install the part. It is not covered under their warranty because it was hanging on the wall. So even though they connected the water(because it doesn't work without water), constructed all of the piping to it, they didn't hang it so it doesn't count as an install. So we are left with a leaking, three (3) year old system and to figure things out ourselves. Needless to say I am furious! I called to cancel my annual maintenance plan, because if it doesn't cover anything and nothing is under warranty, there is no need to have a maintenance plan with them. They pretty much said; c'est la vie. The girl that answered the phone asked why I was cancelling, I started to tell her and was interrupted with a...okay, we will cancel it. My elderly mom has been a loyal customer of Seaside for years. Recently, someone suggested she replace her 10-year-old water heater. Trusting as she is, she contacted Seaside to handle it--believing they'd treat her fairly, especially since she's been enrolled in their "friends and family" program for years, paying about $9 a month for a small discount and priority service. She didn't share the quote with anyone because she genuinely trusted them. This week, Seaside came out and replaced her water heater-- charging her over $4,300, after applying her friends and family discount. They also convinced her to sign up for a $10/month lifetime warranty. When I found out, I immediately looked up the model at Home Depot and saw it sells for $1,409. The manual even states there's already a free lifetime warranty on the tank, so it's unclear what this $10/month plan actually covers. Even excluding the cost of the water heater, that leaves nearly $3,000 in labor and parts--for just 2.5 hours of work. I asked my mom to request an itemized invoice, and Seaside's response? "We don't do that," but they offered her six free months of the friends and family program. What a joke. Shame on Seaside for taking advantage of a loyal, elderly customer who trusted them to do right by her. read more

Service was terrible. I called for a pipe declog and I explained that it happens twice a year and this time I want it to be fixed for good. After the job was done and they tested the pipes everything was fine. A few days later the problem came back and this time worse. I am a current customer with a monthly fee contract, which provides for semi-annual inspections and an annual flush of the tankless water heater. I made an appointment three months earlier for November 6, 2025. Seaside notified me at 9:30 am that my appointment was canceled due to other commitments. I called the company on November 7 to reschedule. The Virtual Assistant offered up the next available date, which was November 10. Great. The appointment was set. On November 10, I called Seaside at 10:00 am to confirm and was told that no appointment was scheduled. So, I was stood up twice. I believe that the company does not value the contract customers because they are not making money on those calls. Their priority leans toward the money-making calls for service. Consequently, I canceled the monthly contract fee. Their customer service ranks low. There are plenty of other plumbers to choose from. read more

I changed toilet water tank, shut off valve and pipe. Also replace main shut off valve in the crawl space. We had a problem getting the main community water shut off and on. So Aaron had to wait extra time to finish the job. I told him to leave, because I didn't want to waste too much of his valuable time. But he insisted to stay until make sure there are no water leaks. He is the kind a guy who wants to gets the job done right, the first time. I would say the price is not that cheap, but Aaron the technician did a great job. Two knowledgeable employees were here ASAP, 1) Austin Copeland and 2)Caleb Norfolk. Austin explained everything to me including the price. We had our WELL pump fail and asked Sea side to come and check it out they confirmed the pump was bad. the quote to replace the pump was $4200.00 or reconnect the pump system to the City water for $1350. I went under the house to look what work had to be done to join the two systems . to connect it would required 8 foot of pipe and 3 fittings time to do the work no more than one hour .
