The Island Body & Sol Spa is located at "the Moorings". This is a gorgeous property. If you get a massage here but do not stay here you will be feeling a little sad. We were led to a covered platform where 2 massage tables were set up with white privacy curtains. It was very Caribbean feeling which I loved. Natalie & Linda were our massage therapists. They were very nice. The massages however we both agreed the actual massage we very lack luster. Key points** if you get a massage on the beach you are paying for the view and feeling of being outside to the massage. I'm glad we did it but we will not be back. I need more umph in my massage! Both masseuses (did a couples massage in 1 room) took phone calls and talked the entire time. The one with my partner touched him inappropriately more than once (per him). We left with multiple bruises. On our way out, they decided to tell us we only paid for half the massage. Very sketchy and threw us both off, so we just paid (looking back, they definitely double charged us). Would NOT return here, ever.

They also convinced the friend I brought with me to get gel as well. This used to be my go-to spot, which makes this experience even more disappointing. One of those search was keeping in touch with me through text to make sure that I had everything that we needed on our vacation. We went to one of the little restaurants to have lunch as soon as we arrived, it was empty for it to be a Sunday, but it was still a great experience. One of our favorite things was the loaded nachos with Mojitos. The next day we were able to enjoy the pool in the beach while having bar service available if we needed it. The rooms were clean and organized, and we had a great partial view of the bay. we will definitely recommend to come here with family or friends or for a weekend getaway.

The resort is pretty big, it has a pool and a small beach. Lots of lounge chairs- I do think they could clear more of the vegetation on the ground to allow more room to swim. I cannot leave a review on restaurant/ food as we always left the resort to get food. I find a lot of resort food is over priced and poor quality so I don't bother with it. The room was nice, spacious bathroom, comfy bed. No complaints on the room. I do feel like the cost per night is a little over priced. $364 was for one night (includes taxes and fees) felt that was a little steep but it's what's to be expected coming to the keys.
