The only thing that left me uncomfortable was being asked to increase my tip after I had already left one. If there is an expected gratuity amount, I think it would be better to include it automatically or clearly state it upfront in the pricing. Being asked to add more after paying caught me off guard and took away from an otherwise great experience. Overall, the massage was great, but I hope this feedback helps make future clients' experiences even better.

I also had a nice surprise when my massage was complete. As I said before, I was quoted a price when I booked my massage. VETERAN OWNED & OPERATED - A RARE STANDARD OF CARE…read more As a combat veteran living with chronic pain--cervical stenosis, degenerative disc disease, two lumbar surgeries, and a twice rebuilt right shoulder--relief is a word I rarely get to use. While doing physical therapy for my most recent shoulder surgery at the VA, I noticed their sign across the street and made the call. They saw me immediately. From that moment, everything changed. I've had countless massages over the years, none of which delivered the depth of relief I truly needed. As with other massage therapists in the past, I asked the therapist not to hold back--and unlike those in the past that approached me timidly, she didn't. What followed was the most effective, deeply therapeutic bodywork I've ever experienced. Her expert use of elbows and forearms targeted deep muscle layers with unmatched precision. For the first time in years, I felt my upper back and neck begin to release. When she reached the tension in my neck, I nearly wept--from sheer relief. And that's not something I say lightly. This is not your average massage clinic. These are highly trained professionals operating at a master level--and doing so with purpose. If this review brings even one more person the kind of healing I experienced, it will have done its job.

Lisa relayed her price, time and how to get her access to our gated community. I was able to text her specifics after we hung up. My husband and I have each had many massages so we have a point of reference. (My last massage while on vacation was awful). Lisa brought meditation music with her along with her table, oils, etc.. My husband had hour #1. His feedback is that Lisa was consistent in her pressure level and introduced him new massage techniques on his face and hands. He was thoroughly relaxed and loved it. I am a bit pickier. I like to focus on my upper back, neck, arms and feet. Lisa used the lighter pressure as requested and I was very relaxed and pleased. My only suggestion would be for a longer cover sheet because my feet did get cold until she massaged them. A great experience.
