The room was large, squeaky clean, and nicely decorated with super comfy beds, and an updated kitchenette and dining area.The bathroom also looked recently updated and had a nice, large, step-in shower to wash the salt and sand off after a day of beachcombing! And, there are sliders opening to a good sized balcony (2nd floor) to enjoy the sea breezes and gorgeous views of the ocean! They also have a private, well maintained, beach area complete with beach chairs, a few picnic tables and a fire pit, too! I love the Cape and have visited many times over the years and I can honestly say the Sandbars Inn is now on my list of favorite places to stay on the Cape and I hope to be able to return there soon! The continental breakfast was perfect, fresh red grapefruits, good quality breads for toasting, hard boiled eggs, assorted juices and coffee, they even had almond milk, fresh bananas, cereals, I loved the unsweetened greek yogurt, peanut butter and spreads. All well done and clean dining area w pretty views. We played tennis on the hard court which was fun, they had racquets and balls but they could use a fresh can of tennis balls. The water pressure in the shower was somewhat low but manageable. The views from the room are beautiful and we caught an amazing sunset right outside our back porch. The location was perfect, just 5 miles from Ptown and many beaches close by. Great time of year because we didn't have to pay beach parking fees. The pool was beautiful too, u can see the ocean from the pool, but u can't walk to the beach, the highway is there. I wish the pool was heated, otherwise it's quite nice. The beds were comfortable not too firm or soft, just right, but the pillows almost too big and puffy. I always bring my own pillow so I was fine. Complimentary take home slippers was a surprise. There were pool towels and bag if you forgot your own. Overall a great stay and I would definitely return and recommend!

The Captains Suite is just like the pictures. It is so comfortable and they have thought of everything you might need in the kitchen. The place is so very clean inside and around the property. They just renovated and it really shows. The staff is wonderful. They were helpful in guiding us to where we were going and recommended a great restaurant just a mile away. The view from the Captians Suite is just amazing from inside, with all its windows, and from outside off the huge attached private deck. Ocean every where you look. Best decision of the trip! The owners were very polite over the phone. The room was perfectly clean and well-decorated. Amenities included a microwave, fridge, and a TV. Plenty of outlets and there's an alarm clock that you can use if you feel you'll be too relaxed and oversleep. The bathroom was cozy and immaculate (the main problem from our AirBnB stay). When we woke up, we spent some time relaxing on the beach area and sitting on the rocking chairs. We woke up too late for breakfast, but the overall stay was fantastic. She could not have been more accommodating. While we were checking in we were also greeted by Michael the owner. He was very welcoming and introduced us to Maye, the yellow lab and mascot of the inn. She was very sweet as well. We were shown to our room that was large spacious and had great views of Provincetown Harbor. We also had a balcony and a gas fireplace! The room was bright , clean and very comfortable. The bed and linens were top notch. I have to mention the HUGE front porch along the front of the inn on Commercial Street. What a great hang out for coffee, cocktails and people watching! My favorite spot. I highly recommend staying here and experiencing P-Town from this great spot.

My daughter loves it! The chairwoman was great and filled us in on the changes and everything going on. The views from the back deck are incredible to watch anytime of day. We have stayed in room 17 for the past 3 years and this was the year that we decided we will most likely we finding a different room or place. 17 the front room doesn't have air conditioning and with the door open it doesn't change the temperature. We give our daughter the bedroom for safety reasons. The bathrooms are very uncomfortable and dated but work fine. The water pressure needed to be adjusted but we figured that out quickly. The main issue we had was the bed. The bed in the front room is like sleeping on a box/stone. Over the past few years it has gotten worse. We ended up leaving early because of it. Neither one of us got a good night sleep the entire time we were there this time. We really do enjoy the complex and the people who run it.

We had booked a one bedroom, one bath and we were upgraded to a two bedrooms/two bathrooms. The kitchen modern and flat screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. There was even a fireplace. The air conditioner was great and every morning we put our trash and dirty towels or linens and when we returned fresh linens and towels were replenished. The hotel is located a quick drive from P-town and is conveniently located on Route 6. The only drawback was that the dogs in adjoining rooms were a bit noisy in the evening and the walls are thin, we expected some canine squawking in a dog friendly hotel so that didn't put us off much.
