I stayed in two different rooms during my visit last week. The first one was because I got my dates…read morewrong and they were able to accommodate me with the queen size room. The next two nights I was in a queen size efficiency, and it felt much better to be in there. It had more windows and space plus basic kitchen supplies. I appreciate that this motel was across the street from the shuttle to Provincetown and that you could walk to the beach. The staff was very helpful. I didn't spend too much time at the private beach, but I did enjoy eating meals out there and looking at the view. My only criticism is that the hot tub/pool seemed like it needed cleaning. I'm embarrassed for Sally who wrote a comment here. She seems very hateful.

I've been coming to Truro/ptown for a few years now and this is my favorite place to stay! Ignore…read moreall these bad reviews (unless you expect to be staying at a bougie 5star hotel). This is a motor inn on the Cape.... Every place I've ever stayed down here is a bit outdated. I think the people Who write these bad reviews were just pissed about the loud neighbors and the low seats that are eye level to the wooden balcony. Just stand up and you can see the ocean view? Lol. I love It here the hot tub and pool is awesome and they redid the pool room. The AC runs pretty good. Showers are old but who really cares.. I'm here to have a good time and enjoy the beaches, not here to take a fancy shower. Beds are big and comfy. Staff is nice and keeps out of your way. The owner has always been super nice and helpful.

We were there during the Provincetown Food & Wine Tasting Festival Weekend (Nov. 7-9) when the…read moredowntown lodgings were all either booked or required 3-night minimum... but Harbor Hotel was available, being about a mile from the intown action. Nice surprise, with low off-season rates and very spiffy--clean, modern--interior spaces. There is a nice bayside beach a stone's throw across the street (6A) and it's on the corner of Snail Road, where there is a trailhead for the Old Colony Rail Trail and the Dunes Shack Trail just across route 6. We love the outer Cape for hiking off-season and P-Town never fails for great dining and truly engaging entertainment... a fun time any weekend year-round. We would stay here in-season too as they provide shuttle service and parking/driving in-town is no fun at all.

We had Sanibel Island booked since July after returning from Puerto Rico. We had airfare, hotel,…read morethe works set. Then came the Florida hurricane predictions and cancelled our trip. Thankfully, we got full credit for both flights and hotel. But the beach itch was real, so we decided on a road trip. Tried Rehoboth Beach- sold out, tried Dewey Beach, also sold out. My non-Yelp husband, chose the Cape. Don't be fooled by the "hotel" in the name. It's got a fresh coat of paint, some funky furniture and a trendy vibe, but peel that onion and... it's still a motel. That said, our room had perks: bay views across the street, two bathrooms, a decent living room, broom+dustpan, iron+ board and other basics. There's complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby area and a pantry filled with snacks for sale. The grounds are kept clean and there's a bonfire we enjoyed in the evenings when the Cape's temps got cool. And a complimentary yoga sess that my body just needed to reset. However, our blanket had like small, old (blood?) spots, mushy pillows and a security bar that practically fell off the wall every time I tried to lock the door. Harbor H. is put together nicely and the lobby has a solid coastal feel. Service was great and shoutout to Shawn & Maurice at the desk for their super welcoming energy. The nightly rate was insane. But mid-August, last-minute, A LOT of Ptown's B&Bs and hotels are booked, with everyone and their great-grandmother traveling- I get it. For the 4 nights we paid, we expected wayyy more.
