My experience with this Pearl Vision was the exact opposite of poor Abby M. I enjoyed a very fast…read moreand efficient check-in, pre-screening, and eye exam. The assistant and the optometrist were friendly and personable without being annoyingly so. They didn't keep me waiting forever even though there were other patients around and I really appreciated that. I had budgeted an hour for the appointment, based on past experiences with other places (*cough*LensCrafters*cough*) and in just under 30 minutes I was good to go. The lady who ordered my glasses for me ran the process multiple ways to find the cheapest ordering option for me and helped my indecisive butt pick out a pair that looked really great on me.

Dr Bell is the saving grace of it being 1 star. She was fabulous…read more The experience since ordering has been unorganized to say the least. After being told 2 weeks approximately, I called to check status. First it was "it shows you picked them up yesterday" then it was "the lab lost the order, sorry." A supposed rush was put in to which I was told it would be another week. Another week goes by and here we are with more excuses as to why they're not ready with zero accountability & zero help with any credits. No empathy or responsibility taken...just "well they're just really busy with back to school & nothing we can do about it." Can people not CALL with updates on delays? Should a customer have to call after 2 weeks for the company to realize there's a lost order and nothing's been done in 2 weeks in terms of progress? Just get the prescription & go elsewhere for glasses.

It is with a bit of sorrow I have to write this review because I have done good business with this…read morecompany on several occasions. Recently I brought some office glasses for repair where a hinge broke. After a while the same side broke again. I called to follow up and learned I was still under warranty. Whomever I spoke with seemed to be kind as usual. I brought the eyewear in on Monday and was immediately put off by the person behind the counter doing whatever he was doing. He spoke rather dismissively telling me he would be with me momentarily without actually looking my way. After he continued doing whatever he was doing at the computer he asked me what I was there for. After getting my name and looking me up, there was a bit of confusion as to how my name was listed. Again this in itself was not an issue for me but his attitude was stone cold I "DON'T WANT TO HELP YOU!" Once he found me he looked at my eyewear and immediately said, "OH THIS BROKE WHERE THE PLASTIC IS, THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO TO FIX THESE". No customer service, empathy nor reasonable expression from one human being to another let alone a customer. This was all I could think about. Then he said, "I could bond them but I doubt it would last a day. Sorry!" It was a very sarcastic "sorry" - more like a f&^! you 'sorry.' It was at that moment I realized i needed to get outta there before I went beyond my own personal character. I took my frames home and added a little super glue to the point of breakage. I'm glad to say its been over 48 hours now and I've worked in them for some 22 hours since Monday without a problem. The glue is sturdy and I am satisfied with my own limited 'craftsmanship.' The fact that he didn't choose to make a fix for me is one thing. I find that disappointing in itself. But the fact that this man with a nasty ass attitude spoke to me like I was a worthless waste of his time has me rethinking whether I will ever seek out their services again. To reiterate, this was my first negative experience as opposed to the many times I've been there and received friendly service. I could imagine several reasons why this could be which I won't mention. One I will mention is I had just cut my grass before driving to the store on my lunch break. Perhaps he thought I was a hobo. But again, regardless, I am still seething when I think of how this person summarily dismissed a person who takes pride in spending money with good businesses. I was taught in the first grade not to judge a book by it's cover. I would have asked this person his name. But I was so put off even now I don't care.

Definitely my favorite place to get prescription glasses from now on. I was told by another…read moreoptician that they could get my glasses done in 4 weeks *meh* so I went to Eyeglass Wearhouse instead and had my glasses ready in 2 days!

I went to the office four times in an attempt to get a contact lens prescription. The first time…read morewas my eye examination and the other three were for fittings. For those three fitting visits I left each time with a new trial pair because I was still unable to see. I called a few weeks later to explain that I was moving and would no longer be able to wait and that I would like a refund because I was walking away without a prescription. Kimberly and the other individual (male) were very kind when I came in for my fifth time and wanted to help me but their hands were tied as Dr. Harris was the only one who would be able to provide me with a refund. Dr. Harris asked me to come sit for another examination and I explained to her that I would like a refund because I would be unable to come back for another fitting or examination to see if the contacts were the correct prescription. She told me I could not get a refund because services were provided. I explained to her that I was walking away without a prescription and she offered me an eye glass prescription. I declined because I was unable to see from the prescriptions she had written for me and I had received four examinations at this point. She stated that it was my fault I would not have a prescription because I refused to come back in. She also told me that it was my fault because I was not compliant and did not return this 5th time with my contacts in my eyes. She refused my refund and left me with an eyeglass prescription that contained the date of my initial appointment on it. My initial appointment was on 05/01/2021 and the fifth and final visit where I explained to her that I could wait no longer was on 07/08/2021. I have been to this physician previously in 2016 and did not have any issues.
