The Issaquah (at Costco) location canceled my appointment without notification. I found this out when I arrived for my slated appointment. They said it was because I did not respond to texts which was absolutely not true. The worst part was getting lectured by two people at the start. They honored my appointment anyway and then I got lectured again when I went to pay after seeing the Optometrist. The Optometrist herself was professional, but the front-office people were unfriendly but I also could understand they were following their rules so this is Organization problem!! This practice is definitively not customer friendly even as I maintained by composure and continued to say thank you while they gave me attitude. My wife and I will never go back even though we started with this practice with Dr. Ambo before 2020. While the location is the same, but the business is not the same. read more

I have seen Dr. Denny now a few times throughout the years and have just now realized that I never wrote a review. I guess I *can* review more than just restaurants on Yelp! can't I? Anyways, I have always found everyone at the Emerald Eye Care office to be exceptionally friendly. That is fantastic but one other thing that I like about seeing Dr. Denny is that he will spend as much time as is needed to thoroughly test your eyes and answer all of your questions. Considering many of us don't get our eyes tested often enough it is important that when you do go to the eye doctor that all of your questions, no matter how odd, are answered and explained with a degree of understanding so that when you leave the office you don't leave with questions. I just saw Dr. Denny yesterday and he put my eyes through all of the tests and answered all of my questions, yes even the somewhat "silly" ones. I would highly recommend Emerald Eye Care for all of your eye care needs, the staff is exceptionally friendly and the doctors are very thorough and patient. read more

They've helped me pick out amazing frames and helped me acclimate to wearing contacts. I had went here because it is right by my home. My copays for visits and contacts (after billing my insurance) were more expensive than if I would pay the cash price at wal-mart (without billing my insurance). I didn't mind because I thought I was getting better service and better care but after they denied a request to refill my contacts because I didn't get a contact exam at my last visit and I would need to come in, again, and pay another copay, I decided to take my business elsewhere. Staff was "ok" and doctors were nice but overall not worth the hassle and HUGE price difference. read more
