I moved here month and the half ago, and been doing some serious research trying to find a good eye Doctor Found EyeShop Optical close to where I lived, decided to give them a tried This is located with other businesses, so there is a huge parking lot, so parking isn't an issue. Walking in, immediately Cam (staff) say "Hi", feels very welcoming, Amanda (staff) not serving me but also say Hi Since it was my first time, Cam likes to get some information from me regarding for my past history, took about 20-25 minutes He carefully explained everything to me, I feel comfortable enough to asked him anything, since I just moved here, I already spent so much for moving, so I wanted to make sure the cost of everything is within my budget. Cam was super nice, unlike some other businesses staffs, you tell them you have a budget and they like nah...no, you not spending money here, move on. You know what I mean? But not here. Met with Dr. Cynthia, very nice lady, she explained to me every details about my eyes, and what I need. Once again I feel very comfortable ask her any questions I had in mind. After the visited, I went out and pick out the frame I like, they have to order it for me. Now I don't know how Columbus work, they told me it will take a week and the half. I'm like wa???? Week and the half? Where is it coming from? Cam (staff) told me is from Cincinnati. That's it??? Week and the half?? ‍ I'm from the cities, when I needed my glasses, I can have it latest by tomorrow, I guess I'm in a small town now, I have to wait. Cam told me he always tell people week and the half, just incase, but normally only take a week, but stillllllllllll....a week is a long time. lol A week goes by, and they sent me the wrong frame. Seriously? Now I have to wait for another week...OMG! This taken forever...well to me is forever. I'm from NYC, we like to do things quick But, you all may wonder why, since I ran into some issues, why am I still giving them 5 stars. I'll tell you, Dr. Cynthia, Cam, Amanda and Dana, they all super nice people, and they care, service is 5/5 We all can easily find an Eye Doctor offices, probably one just around your corner, but not easy to find someone that care. If you call for an appointment, and they ask for your insurance information, don't bother giving it to them because they don't check if they accept it until you show up at the appointment! Then they check and tell you they don't accept your insurance. Wasted a week for that nonsense. Why take information that you don't use? read more

Very nice office and the staff and Doctor are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have felt I always get a very thorough eye exam, and I am informed of my eye health. They have a great selection of frames. As with any optician you are going to pay more than 59.99 for 3 pairs of glasses but you get what you pay for. I personally have had to use my frame and lens warranty and they are more than helpful ordering my replacements at no cost to me. read more

I was a walk-in with a pair of internet-purchased glasses that were causing me some discomfort with the fit. I was greeted promptly and very friendly. I explained that I would like to have them adjusted, that they were an internet brand, and that I was willing to pay to get a comfortable fit. The lady at the desk immediately took my glasses, made an adjustment, and asked me how they felt. My nose was actually very tender from the previous poor fit, and I couldn't actually give her an answer. She then told me I was welcome back for further adjustments if needed (not needed). Friendly, courteous, professional, and so helpful. I know where my next eye exam will be. read more

Prices are significantly higher than other local stores for the same product. If you return anything beware!! Though this is not posted, nor on the receipt, you will pay a huge 'restocking' fee. I cannot recommend this store. read more

Dr. Cindy Sayers and her staff are beyond amazing and every time I've gone in I've walked out thinking, "This is why I continue to come back!". They are fun and friendly and have snacks on more than just one occasion that I've been in there. Love it there! Best staff experience ever. Modern hip office. The Dr. Was very up to date on my prescription choices & very upbeat!

Maybe they were just having an off day or something but they were severely understaffed. In fact, a girl was sleeping in their waiting area, some guy came in and left bc they were busy and the only tech was helping someone. I asked the individual at the desk for help with pricing and he told me to have a seat and that somebody would be with me shortly. Sadly, 30 minutes later no one came to help me and I left. I decided to try another optometrist out for getting new glasses and this experience was not a positive one. I highly recommend Dr. Michael D. Dopkiss. He's in Powell and his place is always staffed and they're there and ready to help. Also, chances are if this place takes your insurance so will dr Dopkiss. If they had the glasses I had wanted, I would never have had to stop by here, but I guess I really just learned to value my current optometrist. read more

I had a horrible experience with EyeShop Optical Center in Lewis Center, Ohio. When I initially called to schedule my first appointment with EyeShop, they asked who my insurance was through and I told them. Upon arriving for my appointment, they stated that they were experiencing difficulties pulling up my information. Upon further investigation they found that my health insurance vision coverage was covered under a supplemental plan which they do not accept. They then simply apologized as if I should be understanding of the fact that they did not ask me for my policy number in advance and wasted my fuel and time. I expressed my displeasure and explained that I have cancer and skipped my medications all day so that it wouldn't effect the results of my eye exam. That being said, they cost me fuel and time (1 hour of what is left of my life). I told them that they should give me a free eye exam considering the circumstances, but no, I was just offered an apology, for their mistakes. On the other hand, maybe it was a good thing that they didn't give me an eye exam as I overheard a customer who was there to pick up his prescription glasses and when asked how they worked he replied "not so good because everything looks 3D and magnified". The representative assisting him said that sometimes it takes time to adjust and maybe he needed to try them out in a comfortable setting (I don't know how that would effect the optics of the glasses for what it's worth. read more

Dr Cindy is a great optometrist, keeps me informed on my kids eye needs. Is honest when they don't need glasses - my son has wanted/asked for glasses for 4 years and just finally needs them for reading. They had a ton of choices within our insurance's allowances and he got RayBans with lenses for minimal out of pocket! Staff is nice and they keep things fresh. Would highly recommend. read more

The receptionist was very helpful. Not pushy and the experience was wonderful. The eye doctor is very personable, helpful and realistic to your needs. Costs were where I expected. Not overly priced and accepted insurance. Overall best experience I've had of any eye doctor in the past 20 years. read more
