Bryan Perry is not a business man; he is a liar and cheat. Whatever you do, do NOT do business with…read morethis man. We now know better and can only warn others to STAY AWAY! We called on November 23rd and left a message expressing interest in a washer and dryer. We have since learned that Bryan screens all his calls and only responds to those about a purchase. He ignores all calls referring to the so-called "warranty" he offers. But I digress... It was a disaster from the beginning. Gabe showed up 3 hours after the promised time and the washing machine had a knob missing ("We'll order you one right away and bring it over as soon as it arrives." Complete lie: over a month later and our washing machine still has pliers as a knob). The dryer was also missing a knob...Gabe took the one of our old dryer and stuck it on. Long story short...the dryer doesn't work. We've called Bryan and Gabe literally about one hundred times. There is no "warranty" because they ignore your phone calls. Gabe has sent me sexually harassing texts: (. )( .) and today Bryan attempted to send my boyfriend a computer virus. We have a complaint already filed with the Department of Justice and will be filing with our local police department next week. We will heed Kellie C's advice and also follow up with the Sonoma County DA, the Sonoma County Sheriffs Office, the State of California Consumer Protection Agency, and Lake County DA. Flag his ads on Craigslist when you see them so others do not get ripped off. By the way, the positive reviews here are a sham. They offer you a discount if you give them a positive review!! Protect yourself and STAY AWAY from Bryan Perry!!!

Bryan Perry told Yelp that the refund check he had previously sent to me was returned and that a…read morereplacement check was sent immediately, after reading my post here. That was a week ago, supposedly mailed within the same county. It should have come the next day--or perhaps the day after that. It has not come in a week, and I am relatively certain, will never come. Just like it didn't come the last four times he promised to drop it by, and later, promised to mail it, and then swore he did mail it! Just like he didn't come get the broken washer he sold me, which was on his schedule to pick up twice--and it still sits in my front yard almost a month later! I now have to pay someone to haul it off. Just like his original delivery guys didn't show up for four days from the time they were supposed to--costing me three + 1/2 days of work while I sat and waited for them. Just like his delivery man, Gabrielle, gave me his "personal word of honor" that he would bring me my cash back the next day because his "reputation" was at stake. I can document so many lies these two have told, it would make an excellent case study, and raises the question: is Bryan Perry a Pathological, Compulsive Liar, or a Sociopath: You decide. What is the Difference Between a Sociopath, and a Compulsive, Pathological, Habitual Liar? A sociopath is typically defined as someone who lies incessantly to get their way and does so with little concern for others. A sociopath is often goal-oriented (i.e., lying is focused - it is done to get one's way). Sociopaths have little regard or respect for the rights and feelings of others. Sociopaths are often charming and charismatic, but they use their talented social skills in manipulative and self-centered ways (see, lovefraud, for more on sociopaths). A compulsive liar is defined as someone who lies out of habit. Lying is their normal and reflexive way of responding to questions. Compulsive liars bend the truth about everything, large and small. For a compulsive liar, telling the truth is very awkward and uncomfortable while lying feels right. Compulsive lying is usually thought to develop in early childhood, due to being placed in an environment where lying was necessary. For the most part, compulsive liars are not overly manipulative and cunning (unlike sociopaths), rather they simply lie out of habit - an automatic response which is hard to break and one that takes its toll on a relationship (see, how to cope with a compulsive liar). Hummm...sounds like the sociopath to me. Whatever the case, these guys are crooks, running a profitable scam that works becasue their sales are small--not worth trying to collect on. Don't believe me? Do your own search engine and you'll find others who have had the same expereince as me! Update three years later...still no check...

Shady owner who doesn't deserve the local business Response to owner: You sent both notices on the same day with no auction dates on either of them, just talking about extra fees if sent to collection. Nothing was published publicly that I could find, and whether it was legal or not it was a predatory way to run business in a small town. There was a brand new set of spare stock tires/rims for a 3/4 Ram diesel, a nearly new double stack GE oven, an Alto Shaam Cook and Hold TH-500 commercial oven, stainless steel restaurant tables, 2 commercial refrigerators, and numerous other things that luckily Ive continually taken pictures after my unit got broken into a few years back. So for you to say "junk you had to haul" just confirms to me your nefarious intentions. The owner acts like a nice guy but as I just learned will have no problem kicking you while your down and being sneaky about it by not informing me before any auction, he had no problem calling me a few years ago when the unit got broken into but not a single ring when he sold all my stuff.
