David is the BEST repair tech I've ever had. He's an experienced trouble shooter and he understands how the appliances work so he knows how to run them through their paces. He was the first tech I had to repair my stove when I bought the house 5 years ago next month and he's been back to handle all but a couple of the repairs needed for various appliances. He's always been here once and done unless parts were needed. When he shows up, I am confident I'll be back in business before he leaves. read more

We have been waiting 3 different days for the service technician to arrive to repair our refrigerator. The parts arrived 2 days ago. We were scheduled today 4/3/26 from 8-5pm. We received one notification repairman would be arriving at 12 noon. It's now 6pm and we have not seen or heard from anyone. I have spoken with Samantha the AI, she was not helpful and wanted to r/s the appointment for next week. WE have had our food in coolers all day waiting for the repairman. We fully intend to express our dissatisfaction with SEARS service with the BBB and our friends. SEARS needs to close it's doors to all business transactions. read more

The microwave/oven combo broke in March 2025. AI set up 4 different appointments and cancelled each one. I finally had an outside technician come out and determine the unit was non-functional. My warranty said Sears was finally coming out to install a new unit. Yesterday, September 12, Sears showed up to inspect the unit. Not install a new one. read more

I took off one star for the lack of communication (which may not have been his fault) with the arrival time. my appt. was from 8am-12pm time frame. Only after 1pm there was there an update an approx time. it would've been nice to know that he was not going to arrive on time. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. All they want to do is sell a home warranty. They charged $99 for a "diagnosis" or my dryer and didn't even look at it. They just googled the error code and my model number and told me it would be $610 then tried to sell me a home warranty. $99 wasted. I ordered the part for $189 off Amazon and will install myself. Adam suggested that it would not be worth fixing. Gave me suggestions on other Brands. So I declined the repair. However, he failed to mention that the compressor (part that failed) should be covered with a 10 year warranty according to LG. This should have changed the cost of repair and I may have made a different choice. Not happy with the service. read more

I scheduled a repair for my Samsung dryer for 6/30. I travel for work and was not available so I asked my 74 year old mother to wait for the service technician. This appointment was verified multiple times. I was told that a Mr. Falik would be there at 3:40 pm. 10 minutes before the end of the time frame this person was supposed to arrive I received a text saying that my appointment would need to be rescheduled. It took about 30 minutes to find a way to speak to an actual person. When I was able I was informed that no one was available to do the repair today. I could have been informed of this multiple times especially how many times I confirmed the appointment and was given the name of the person coming. I asked to speak to someone in management and I was told that there was no number for anyone in management. I have never in my life experienced this level of absolute piss poor customer service. Do not use this service under any circumstance!!!!! read more

My appointment was scheduled for 1 day and they never called to cancel just didn't show up. You never get to actually talk to a real person on the phone it's through "chat" and when you request for someone to call you back they never do. The first tech who came that actually ordered the part that was needed was very nice, the tech that showed up to fixed it was very rude and not friendly. read more

Blake came and investigates the issues with my washer two weeks ago. He was there just a few minutes and ordered a part. Today he walks in, takes a look at the part HE ORDERED and said that he ordered the wrong part. By the time a new part comes in and gets scheduled for install I will be out of a washer for A WHOLE MONTH! This is ridiculous! I have had to pay to do laundry at the laundromat for weeks! Travis from Sears Home Service came out to diagnose and repair our oven. He was professional and prompt, but the cost from Sears was excessive compared to the minor work that needed to be done. Sears Home Services has been servicing my appliances for years. They have done a good job in the past when I needed a repair. All my work has been warranty work so I can't comment on their prices. IF YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE AT THE COMPANY IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK TO A HUMAN BEING WHICH IS VERY FRUSTERATING. I HAD 4 NO SHOWS WITH THE 6 APPOINTMENTS IT TOOK TO FIX MY DISHWASHER. Adam and his service were great. Here's the issue -- this service appointment was originally scheduled for Jan. 15, and Sears was a no-call, no-show for that entire day. I tried contacting them by every means, and I received zero reply. I missed an entire day of work on 1/15, and received zero customer service help from Sears. I have documentation to back all of this up. In fact, the online portal still showed my appointment date of 1/15 for the next few days, and then Sears unilaterally changed and set my new date for 1/24, for which I took another day off work. Once again, Adam was great but I would appreciate Sears making this right for me. If Sears can send me myriad texts and emails to confirm an appointment, they should be able to let me know when they are not showing up after confirming they would. read more

Do not use this company. My elderly mother called a Sear's repairman to fix one element on her cooktop stove. He charged her $335 for the repair. Within an hour after he left, she turned on the stove and every element blew out. The repair was obviously done incorrectly. Now her stove is ruined and she has had to buy a new cooktop stove at a considerable expense. I tried to request a refund for her, but Sears is not responding. When you call to complain, you get someone in "customer service" from a foreign country who spends more time offering an apology for your inconvenience than actually trying to address your problem. The rep kept repeating that the repair had a 90-day warranty, even though I was asking for a refund, not another repair. The rep offered to send another technician to fix the bungled repair. This offer was pointless since my mother's entire stove already had been destroyed, forcing her to buy a new appliance so she could heat her meals. Each time the rep offered to send another technician, I demanded a refund. Finally, the rep spoke to her "supervisor" and promised to get back to me within 48 hours. Forty-eight hours passed a long time ago. They have no intention of doing anything but keep my mother's money. Sears technicians are only good at destroying appliances and there is no functioning customer service to help you. Do not trust this unreliable, incompetent, and dishonest company for your repairs. read more

Terribly frustrated with the lack of customer care. Over 2 weeks ago we called Sears when our air conditioning failed - we've been without AC since then in 88 degree heat. They say our claim is 'in research' and have yet to answer our calls. Cancelling this service today and scheduling an actual repair with another company. read more
