Last week, I brought my 2018 Infiniti in to see if they could install a set of new downpipes. The staff acted as though the job was unusually complicated and referred me to the mechanic in the back. After speaking with him, I was told the work could be completed on Tuesday and that it would take approximately 2.5 hours. I arrived right when they opened at 8:30 AM and dropped off my vehicle as instructed. Around 11:30 AM, after hearing nothing, I called to check on the status. The employee who answered informed me they hadn't even touched my car yet and claimed I was supposed to bring it directly to the mechanic in the back--a requirement that was never mentioned during my previous visit. He then assured me the mechanic had just arrived and was beginning work on my vehicle. Then, at approximately 1:40 PM, I received a phone call saying, "Bad news, bro, he can't do it today, so you need to come pick up your car." How does a shop take nearly six hours to determine that absolutely nothing can be done? More importantly, why schedule the job for that day in the first place if nobody was actually prepared to perform the work? Unfortunately, the experience got even worse. When I arrived to pick up my car, I discovered that my downpipes and hardware had been removed from the box I left them in and were sitting on the shop floor because they supposedly wanted to "make it easier" for the mechanic. If nobody touched my car, why were my parts unpackaged and lying around the shop? After leaving, I immediately received a check engine light for a downstream O2 sensor. I cannot say with certainty what caused the issue, but it was concerning that the warning appeared immediately after my visit, especially considering that the O2 sensors are located in the same general area as the work that was supposed to be performed. Combined with the fact that I personally saw the vehicle driven onto a lift and my parts removed from their packaging, the shop's claim that nothing was touched simply did not make sense to me. To make matters worse, I attempted to contact Daniel Cano multiple times. Six calls were made, messages were left with staff, and nobody bothered to return the call. When we finally reached him, he denied that anyone had touched the vehicle despite the circumstances raising obvious questions. The most shocking part was when my aunt called to explain the situation. According to her, Daniel responded by saying, "You're just a girl, you don't understand cars." If true, that kind of dismissive and disrespectful attitude toward customers is completely unacceptable. Between the poor communication, wasted time, lack of accountability, and disrespect shown throughout this entire experience, this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an automotive shop. Do not trust this place with your vehicle. I will never give them another dollar, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Overall feel robbed, issue is still not resolved, paid for towing multiple times to this place, only picked them because they had good reviews and out of all the mechanics we have been to this is by far the worst as far as any effort and just charging you for no work to be done. After my insurance company finally got a tow company to retrieve my vehicle almost 24 hours later, they took my vehicle to McIntyre Auto Repair. I called before the vehicle arrived to ask if they could squeeze me in to their rotation, and though they were quite busy, they did so. In fact, I arrived at the shop only a few minutes after the tow operator informed me of the drop, and Dale and one of his staff were already assessing my vehicle. Dale is honest, professional, and to the point - what more could you ask for. He didn't gouge me like he could have, as a stranded motorist, and he and his crew had me out the door in only a few hours (luckily no parts were needed, as wiring came loose and was cut by the serpentine belt). This was after doing a thorough vehicle diagnostic, as I informed him the vehicle was new to me, and also after a thorough road test on the freeway. I would strongly recommend McIntyre Auto Repair for anyone who lives near Prosser, as well as the stranded motorist in the area.

I used another auto repair shop for my next oil change. I was informed that whoever did my last oil change striped the oil plug and my oil pan would need to be replaced. I spoke with Mr. Mcintyre about the oil plug issue, and he said he would fix the plug for free at my next oil change. Later my car started to have a water leak problem. I spoke with Mr. Mcintyre about the quote he gave me for the radiator repair. He stated without looking at my car he not diagnosis the issue, which is reasonable. I then took my car to the dealership and found there was no issue with my radiator at all. I spoke with Mcintyre "or an employee" again and told him the dealership found no issue with my radiator. At that point i was told he had no idea about our previous conversation about car. He said that I was rude to him and that i was an asshole. He hung up on me, I called back Mr. Mcintyre answer the phone and told me he would not repair my car and said he would see me in court and hung up on me. So, he ruined my oil pan and said I needed repairs to my car which I didn't need. People think twice about having any repair done at his shop. Everything i have stated has been documented and is the absolute truth. I will be taking him to court.

Wes was attentive, caring, honest and saved me time and money whenever he could, in whatever way he could, no matter how busy he was. I was visiting out of town from Bend Oregon when the AC in my car completely busted. It was a huge repair (compressor) and everyone I called was booked solid. I literally called and texted about 10 people to find out how I could get this situation handled so I wouldn't have to drive 4 hours in the blaring summer sun with no AC in my car. And no one could get me in. Except Wes Ducat at Steve Tire & Auto Repair. Wes moved his entire schedule around in order to get my car in and out on time, so I could get home safely without having to spend an arm and a leg on the repair. He graciously called and texted me whenever there was an update on my car and he worked his butt off to make sure I was taken care of. I have MINI, so my wheels are a little unique, but they totally had my size of chains. What really sticks out for me though is the service. The guy here was super cool. He was really nice, and also answered some questions I had about new tires....for when I'll be needing them. Wish I could remember the gentleman's name, to give him a shout-out.
