I was nearly in tears. I handed over my keys and the service advisor came back. When he handed me the printout, I was stunned, because it was the same thing that had happened to my 2013 SUBARU three years earlier. The SOLENOID had gone bad. Again. After only 20,000 miles. Anyhow, Mr. Tire doesn't do that work. He suggested I get it towed. My son on the phone said drive it home. The advisor at Mr. Tire was RIGHT. I didn't make it home. A $100 flatbed tow later, I was home. The good news? Mr. Tire did not charge me a dime for running the computer analysis. Those guys are great.

I was in and out in an hour, only because they had to locate my tires, which were in a different area (whoever pulled them the day before, placed them up front instead of where they actually do the replacement). I had to take a brief work call, after I was done, they came over and said I was all done, checked out and went about my way. Several technicians checked on me to be sure I was being helped and check out was simple. "Oh you pre-paid, here's your keys, have a great day". It was even better watching one of the technicians be patient with an elderly woman ahead of me who was counting her change for her purchase (I've learned not to interrupt and ask if I can pay on their behalf, I got chewed out a couple of times and some elderly view it as an insult because they have the money to "pay their own way"!). So he gently waited while she counted out the 0.89 change as part of her purchase. It was precious to watch and knowing that these guys are supportive, friendly and patient.
