Last year I had my daughter's wedding dress cleaned and they were supposed to preserve it by packing it in a large box. I was told at the time they didn't have the large boxes and to check back in January 2022. I paid for the entire cleaning and the preservation and they keep giving me the run around that no big boxes have came in. Yet when I go on Amazon, I can get the same box in less then a week. I indicated on the phone to the business that they offer preservation services online yet you have no big boxes. This is false advertising. read more

When I first picked up my dress I thought they did a great job, but I realized a couple days later (today) when I took it out of the bag to try on before I took it in for alterations (had an appointment at 6:30 this morning) that there was a giant stain on the bottom front of the dress and the material feels like it has been melted. I tried calling to resolve this with seamsters when they opened this morning and sent them photos but since I took the dress in for alterations and can't physically bring it in for them to look at they are refusing to offer a partial refund. The dress was brand new when I brought it in, it still has the tags on it. I picked it up on Monday and it went directly to my closet and has been hanging in the plastic since then, but they tried telling me I caused the damage, not them. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHING HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET IT BACK WITHOUT DAMAGE. If they had mentioned it when I picked it up we could have worked something out then, or if they had been willing to work with me when I called them I would not be posting this, but instead they charged me $35 to damage my dress. read more

This review is about the alterations department. I ordered a dress online a few months ago for a party and it was perfect so I decided to try my luck again in ordering a dress for graduation. No such luck! The dress for graduated arrived and it fit perfectly in the bust and hips, but was HUGE in the waist so I decided to give this place a chance. After meeting with Addy, we determined there would be about 4 inches that needed to be taken out of the waistline. With such a major alteration pending, I was a bit nervous, but Addy worked away and pinned the dress in prep for the alternations like a genie. When the time came to pick it up, I tried it on and the dress fit PERFECTLY! The least I could do was write a review! I am so excited I get to wear it for my special day coming up soon. If she can handle this kind of work, I'm sure she's the lady for any alterations you Yelpers may need done. read more

Had three (3) mens dress shirts laundered Costing $12!! I asked why....was told kurtly, that my shirts were very difficult to launder because they do not fit his machines...??? Get new machines! Prices change. First came and he quoted $13.50 per suit. Then the second time, he stated it was piece work $16.50 depending on the size of the coat. I am a size 6, how long is my suit jacket? Then said I have a good memory. She also stated that it depends on how much they have to press that suit that suit. Their prices change just like Comcast Internet service prices change. Horrible horibble service! Took my coats in with no stains, just wanted to get them undusted and when i got them back they had wierd stains all over the place, the older guy first said that they were already like that ( they were not!) And then he said different stuff the next 2 times i went for the same coat. He said it was due to the material and told us to go to the company were we got it and blame them! Bc their material was too cheap... I mean he clearly knew that it would get ruined before he put them in and yet he did it, he claimed to know everything about the different types of material that can be dry cleaned but he said our material couldnt be dry cleaned after he had already done it. It was all their fault but they just deny it, no discount, no refund... NOTHING! This place is full of excuses. Will never ever go back. read more

First, for those reviewers that are complaining about the guy at the front- stop that right now. He has a disability and if you treat him kindly you will be treated kindly as well. Have you ever bothered to notice that he remembers your name after 1-2 times. He's pleasant. Have some damn compassion for others. Seamsters has always done our dry cleaning and have done it well. Alterations have been good too. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Owners are extremely friendly. Always been treated well here. read more

The guy at the counter is as close to a zombie as I think I've been. In a half dozen transactions he's not said a single word. I've taken several pieces here, and they've done an ok job, but I took a pea coat in to have a button sewn back on and the rest reinforced. They did neither & charged me $70! I think they may have dry cleaned it, though I'm not sure (and I did not ask for it to be done). I'll be looking somewhere else to get my dry cleaning and seamstering done. read more

This place is so rad. I've never had a better experience with cleaners than I've had here. They do great work and offer excellent service. The owners are very kind and make an effort to get to know customers. I believe they offer delivery service, as well. read more

Went in to drop off a coat got helped by an older gentleman. He didn't give me any information on prices or anything. This was my first time here. He may have been tired or something. Anyway, went in to pick up my coat and they couldn't get rid of some stains on it :((((( I waited a whole 4 days to go in and pick it up and it wasn't cleaned:( :(:( and payed $22 for the cleaning service anyway. read more

I've been coming here for years from getting my husband's shirts done to cleaning my drapes. At first, Steve (front desk) can seem cold, but once he starts to warm up he's so funny and genuine! I'm never disappointed and I love that they have free drop off/delivery and a drive up window. Makes it super convenient. read more
