These pants are one of my favourites, even though they didn't cost much to begin with, they're comfortable and fit nicely. I started by shopping around, knowing that tailors pricing can vary widely. Being close to Metrotown, I started there. I was quoted $25 at two shops and $20 at another, with a turnaround of about a week. Fast forward to a day or two later and I found myself walking around New West with some time to kill. Again, pricing varied, but having read great things about Wizard I decided to pay them a visit. I will say the price quoted was not the cheapest of those I received in New West, but it wasn't far off. The tailor explained how she would fix the tear and that it would be ready early the next week. I agreed, and a receipt was given to me and the pants left for repair. Fast forward to the next week, my receipt was presented and the pants brought out. The tailor encouraged me to try them on and I did so. As far as I can see, they look and fit great, and it's hard to make out the repair with the naked eye. I'm pleased with the quality of the repair and will certainly be back to Wizard of Needles in the future.

This logo tag was very important to the male wearer of the cap. Firstly: the service took longer than 2 weeks. Excuse was back logged because of vacation by the sewer. Secondly: the elastic that was sewn on without providing any stretch, the very reason for replacing the elastic, therefore the cap did not fit the head and was loose as before with the old elastic. Thirdly: the important logo tag was lost! Fourthly: the 25.00 charge was outrageous and accompanied with excuses that it was a difficult job.......removing and replacing an elastic band???? will not ever use this business again

Euro Tailors is now my new religion, and my words of praise will seem loathsomely inadequate in relation to their greatness. No longer do I have to worry about having my beautiful clothing from Ede & Ravenscroft look like it has been passed through a threshing machine. No longer do I collect my Gieves & Hawks jackets thinking, "What went wrong here!?" I went into this store to see if they could help me. The lady saw the shoe in my hand, and before I even got to the counter, said, "we don't do shoes". I started to explain that it wasn't a shoe repair that I wanted, but she repeated, more forcefully, "we don't do shoes". I got a couple more words out when she repeated it a third time, like I was an idiot. At that point I gave up, said "OK", and left. OK, I get it, they don't do shoes. But a bit of courtesy, and maybe even helpfulness, would have been nice. I have lots of normal non-shoe-related repair and alterations work that needs to get done. But I won't be taking it to Stitch-It.

I can't imagine that this is a good representation of the company, especially when the driver is driving with no regard for the traffic rules (HOV lane) and making poor hand gestures at another vehicle.

Not that Fletchers is bad, but I don't live on the West Side anymore and they don't deliver. They even make special delivery time arrangements for me since I don't have a doorman and am not at home 90% of the time. As Ali G. said, they do business deliveries, too. However, it should be noted that they ONLY service downtown Vancouver. They come from North Van and once they cross the Lion's Gate, ain't no more bridge crossings in that driver's itinerary...
