Unfortunately, no one ever came to greet us, and after waiting for a while, I had to walk to the counter to ask to be seated. The employee apologized and said she hadn't seen us. After we were seated, she brought us menus but explained that when we were ready to order, we would have to return to the counter to place our order ourselves. That was surprising enough, but what really bothered me was seeing a mandatory 15% service charge added to the bill. I have no problem tipping for good service, but automatically charging 15% when customers are expected to get up and place their own orders makes no sense to me. It's another example of the tipping culture getting out of hand. To make matters worse, the food was very expensive and simply wasn't worth the price. Between the confusing service, mandatory service charge, and overpriced food, I won't be returning and cannot recommend this place.
