Very Satisfied Customer…read more I used Mr, Rooter for my plumbing needs as a result of reaching out to another company, AireServ, in Front Royal, VA, who partners with Mr. Rooter. Tommy and Will came to my home to install the whole house water softener/filtration system with UV light (in my basement), and are coming again next week to install a reverse osmosis system (under my kitchen sink) and a new hot water heater with a lifetime warranty. I am pleased with the quality of the equipment I bought. Much better than I could get from a big box store. The pricing was totally competitive (researched that carefully). The installation so far went very smoothly and the men did a decent clean-up afterward. Tommy's knowledge of plumbing greatly helped me to examine my options before I committed to these purchases. I appreciate his patient help. No sales pressure whatsoever. Lastly, he rectified (at no charge) some plumbing oversights (needed turn-off valves) that the home builder overlooked. I feel I've made an excellent choice with Mr. Rooter, Tommy and Will in Front Royal, VA, and I highly recommend them. --Patrice Traeger

I had several additional requests which they accommodated such as adding an extra drain line and additional return vent and all the work was done as requested. Since completion of the job, they have come back on routine maintenance visits to keep the system up and running and the cost of which was included with the original work. I therefore. have been very pleased with after-installation service. Separately, I used them for plumbing, specifically replacing a sink faucet, repairing a garbage disposal, and repairing a leaky shower fixture. I was very pleased with this service as well. Especially the garbage disposal because all it needed was a minor turn of a crank to loosen it up instead of a full replacement, which saved me a significant amount of money. Obviously, overall, I'm very happy with their services. I will be using them again and highly recommend.

Roger Smelser of C & C Smelser Plumbing was referred to me by a trusted friend. As a woman and…read morevery old, I seem to be an easy target for contractors. So referrals from caring and reliable friends are important. Mr. Smelser responded quickly and came quickly because my water heater wasn't working or would stop working when my electricity would crash which was happening at least three times a week. Among other things, I thought I needed a new heater but Mr. Smelzer examined it, analyzed that the heater elements are good, and recommended that I get an electrician to change the relevant breaker in my electric panel box. Mr. Smelser was so kind in his response that I asked him if he could do other plumbing work for me. Almost nothing worked in my house so I asked him to replace my leaking kitchen faucet, repair my leaking bathtub faucet, and install a garbage disposal with a sink top switch. When he came as scheduled, he brought his two sons who are also plumbers in his family-owned business. Even when I wanted a soap dispenser installed as opposed to the sprayer which they recommended, they did consistently as I wished even though the soap dispenser appeared to be more difficult to install. Everything they did for me was excellent and at a reasonable charge. And to boot, Mr. Smelser has a marvelous sense of humor and his sons were so remarkably polite. In every respect from my first call through to completion of my requests, their recommendations, behavior throughout, and charges, Smelser Plumbing was superb. I am genuinely grateful. Do you need a new water heater? This is the company to get if you don't want to wait!…read more Luckily my hot water heater finally decided to die in the middle of the summer. However, cold showers get old after the first one. Anyways, I assumed it was repairable due to clogged valves or needed replacement as it was over 10 years old and maybe much older. I called this company up because of the reviews and anything veteran owned is usually legit. Nassim was my technician and he can right in the middle of the service window scheduled. He immediately found the issue and gave me two options - repair or replace. I decided to replace because I know the water supply in this community tends to have a lot of minerals buildup. I'm glad I did. Upon removing the old hot water heater, a ton of deposits was found. I may have been missing out on full powered showers for years. Not anymore! Highly recommended. No BS. No upsell.
