I emailed the owner looking for a dress I had previously tried on in store and she had it available and ready online to purchase immediately! That timing was rare and special! My partner and I travel to different shops such as this across the US and collect unique items... there are snobby people but dear golden... they aren't them. I kind of expected ridiculously high prices, it is Ann Arbor after all, but these prices were absurd. What I don't expect is to be ridiculed by the owner because of a simple spelling mistake. Like I said, thier priorities are backwards with no attempt to rectify the situation, only to make it worse after the fact online. I wish I could get paid to sit on my butt all day and ignore customers. At least I was greeted by a lady yelling from the back, but that is considered the bare minimum, just as another 1 star review is. If I could give 0 I would especially now after realizing this is how they respond to potential customers. I will never go back. The vulgar music that was being played throughout the store was my biggest concern at the time, but now it has shifted to the way they responded to me online. If you must buy from them (still way overpriced, I don't know why you would) order from etsy and don't subject yourself to being ignored and annoyed by incompetent store staff. After reading some of these other reviews here I am certain they had to deal with this same person, and it was probably the same person who made the condescending reply to my first review (see picture). I have a hunch that most of these 5 star reviews are either from the staff themselves trying to counter the honest ones or by someone who didn't have to deal with the lack of customer service that I experienced. If you're the owner of the place and you are reading this, please reconsider who you choose to be the face of the store, they are driving your customers away. If in fact the owner was the only one in the store today, and the subject of all the other 1 star reviews here, I would recommend closing your store and finding a new line of business because you are clearly not equipped customer service.

I bought what I thought was a high-end band for my Apple Watch, only to realize the exact same cheap, low-quality band is sold at Target and Amazon for a third of the price. The moment I opened the box, I was shocked. The photos online are clearly "enhanced" to look luxury, but the physical product is flimsy and doesn't match the description at all. When I immediately emailed to request a full refund, they started playing games. They claimed they wanted to "ensure my satisfaction" but insisted I send them a photo of the bracelet first--which is ridiculous since I had just received it and told them it was in the original condition. I sent them my original invoice to prove the purchase and reiterated that I simply do not want the item. Since then? Total radio silence. They have completely stopped responding to my emails. To make matters worse, their phone line is a joke; it seems to exist only to tell you they don't take calls or to leave you hanging. Do not waste your money here. You're paying "luxury" prices for dollar-store quality and zero customer support.

But the very best part about this store is that there are two very nice dark-haired women who make it a pleasure to visit. They are helpful without being intrusive; friendly without being obsequious. It's fun to see the fashionable ensembles they always wear, the beautiful displays they create, and to be treated with their particular brand of courteous professionalism. Several times, one or the other has helped me put together an outfit with accessories for a special occasion. They both have an intuitive sense for what makes an outfit especially elegant: their instincts for design and style are always spot on. They make shopping an exciting adventure!
