I love this place. I basically grew up here! Ever since I got my first library card in Kindergarten I have been hooked ever since. From working the summer program when I was a teenager to the night classes they offer, this library is very involved in the community. They hold monthly programs for kids like movie nights, cookie decoration and book readings. It's a really fun thing to do with siblings or children of all ages. I took a babysitting certification course and learned basic CPR and other medical skills. Even as an adult they offer driving classes, computer classes (my grandmother took the ipad one and loved it!) and trips to see broadway shows or go in NYC.
They always are bringing in new books and I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff. They're friendly, helpful and overall...just fantastic people. There are two levels to the library. On the top floor there's the reference desk, computer/printers, a study area, the welcome/check out desk, dvd's, audio books and of course their selection of novels. Downstairs are more books and the children's area. They have a cute playroom and a pretty broad selection of young adult/children's literature.
The Seaford Library is like a home to me and I'm always here. They're welcoming and willing to help. I recommend stopping by to see what they have to offer! read more
