I've been here several times and while the library itself is spacious, clean and has lots to offer it is always noisy. Employees talk loudly not only amongst themselves but to any and everyone with the exception of an older gentleman with white hair. Sorry, I do not know his name but he always whispers when talking. Bravo! He gets it. It's a library.
I think there should be a noise manager onsite because clearly folks seem to not understand that libraries are meant for studying not socializing. Those events have a time and place within the library.
I've seen (heard) babies running around crying, young adults laughing and fooling around, visitors talking about books they've read, employees chatting about their weekend, etc. And none were conversing in a low voice.
I get it just not here. read more
