This is a newish cafe/restaurant in Porthleven, done in an American diner style. The menu, however, is much more ambitious, and a welcome addition in a town not noted for it's food. As well as the printed menu, there is a long list of seafood dishes based on what the fisherman have caught. For a recent Sunday lunch we tried the rich and crabby 'Baked crab florentine', and the (overpriced) surf and turf, with scallops as well as king prawns. The chips were excellent too. Others in our party were not so lucky. The fig stuffed with goats cheese, wrapped in bacon, was a bit salty, for example. Very friendly service. Lunch with drinks and puds was £20/head. read more
