Well I couldn't have been more surprised From the outside, this place looks like a fish and chip shop, but inside are sofas, wooden tables and chairs, a pool table and a cool surfer, arty feel. Being gluten free is sometimes a nightmare to eat out but there were several options on the menu i.e. moules marinere, cod wrapped in Serrano ham with crushed new potatoes with a roasted garlic, sundried tomato, olive and herb butter and West Country rump of steak and chips with peas, tomatoes and mushroom, plus loads of delicious treats for the kids and everyone else i.e. Thai style fish cakes, home made pizzas, vegetable torte with roasted pepper, spinach, red onion, new potatoes and salad, spicy aubergine or lamb burger. A family of 7 of us ate for £100 and that included a bottle of £15 Shiraz, beer and drinks for the kids. Wonderful! Everyone was delighted with their choices. A find! Would definitely go back. read more
