You will actually talk to someone at HQ and the customer service representative will ask what type of service you would need. I chose one-time service as a private customer, they do business service as well. The rep asked about how much do I think I will have to shred. She was very helpful and told me it would be cheaper to bring the documents to the designated location she will provide and it is a flat rate of $75 per 95 gallon bin. Hey that was a no brained since on-site shredding is more expensive. Plus they can provide a Certificate of Destruction for verification. She then asked for my zip code and gave me the closest location which is in Ladson and provided the address. There is no direct phone number probably for security purposes. Hey I loaded up 5 bags to shred and drove to Shred-it. Location is very secure. The front door is locked so you have to knock to get buzzed in. You tell them what you have and fill out 1 sheet of paper provide your credit card and then you are directed where to take your documents. So I drive around the building through open security gate and a gentleman rolls out a 95 gallon bin we load everything into it and he takes it inside their location and I drive off. Total time at this location is less than 15 minutes very well oiled machine!! Shred-it you get 5 Stars !!

Called them, stated the problem and they agreed to come out the next day. Well these promises went on for three days until they finally stated they were too busy to come back. I than hired an appliance repair company who found the problem to be that the drain line was installed to deep and was fixed in ten minutes. I can't believe Ken and Marc were too busy for a ten minute fix. If they hadn't lead me wrong for three days I would have felt differently.

That was nearly 2 weeks ago but I gave him time seeing that he was working on CCSO cars so I reached out this morning for an update to be "passed" on and told not to reach out on weekends when he's the same one pming me at 9:30 at night? Theres a right way and a wrong way to conduct business, and I can understand overbooking but the unprofessional attitude aint it. Sounds like someone got a big job and thinks theyre too good for small jobs.
