I chose one-time service as a private customer, they do business service as well. The rep asked about how much do I think I will have to shred. She was very helpful and told me it would be cheaper to bring the documents to the designated location she will provide and it is a flat rate of $75 per 95 gallon bin. Hey that was a no brained since on-site shredding is more expensive. Plus they can provide a Certificate of Destruction for verification. She then asked for my zip code and gave me the closest location which is in Ladson and provided the address. There is no direct phone number probably for security purposes. Hey I loaded up 5 bags to shred and drove to Shred-it. Location is very secure. The front door is locked so you have to knock to get buzzed in. You tell them what you have and fill out 1 sheet of paper provide your credit card and then you are directed where to take your documents. So I drive around the building through open security gate and a gentleman rolls out a 95 gallon bin we load everything into it and he takes it inside their location and I drive off.
