The service person who came was very professional and informative. It did cost about $90 just to get the system looked at which I was not expecting at the time. I would suggest them if you need someone quickly, but it might cost you a little bit more.

Joe and his crew are AMAZING! We purchased a new house in Providence and IMMEDIATELY discovered…read morethat everything we flushed, showered, etc. was being backed up into our brand new finished basement. We discovered this on a Sunday evening. Joe became our plumber that night because he made himself available to come out the following morning. And he arrived on time. What he found was a catastrophe that involved a crew to rip out a whole section of sidewalk in front of our house to clear the several feet of city tree branch that had grown into our pipes. He got the right people in to do that job, was onsite to oversee it throughout, and he fixed a few other plumbing hiccups during the interim and even offered to install the new toilet seats we had sitting in their boxes while his excavation guys were doing their thing. He's a really helpful, friendly, and dedicated person who seems committed to making his customers' homes "right". He also put us onto the most fantastic crew to mitigate our basement disaster. After how happy we were with those guys (who were in our home to fix our basement properly for five weeks), I will take recommendations from Joe for anything we need. In fact, we are already working with an electrician he recommended to sort some crazy-wired switches out and move a junction box (not a small job). I recommend Joe and his crew with a 5/5, no question. These guys are great.

He redid most (if not all) of the…read moreplumbing in my nearly 100-year-old house, and we have never, not once - not even a little bit - had any trouble with it. That's actually pretty amazing. When we gutted and renovated our house, Jim made sure everything worked properly. We installed three new bathrooms, along with all new appliances and Addessi did everything. We've had plenty of issues with our old house over the past four years, but the plumbing isn't one of them. Jim is extremely sweet and very friendly -he's a genuine Rhode Islander without a bit of pretense about him. He's down to earth, says what he means, does what he says he'll do, and does it perfectly and for a very reasonable price. He even labeled each and every pipe valve in our basement so we would know which part of the house it runs to should anything burst or go awry - that's serious attention to detail!

What is truly impressive is the time they spent with me explaining the nature of the plumbing problem and its solutions, even before the job began. From the beginning of the job to end, Anne the Plumber took meticulous care and I felt as if it were the most important project that they were doing that day. And, it was not a simple job, like a leaky faucet, it was a complicated job. They had to literally build piping for a washer and dryer that had no infrastructure already in place. The money I spent was worth every penny. I will only use Anne the Plumber for my own condo, and my building has used them as well, with excellent results.

As a result, my household was left without hot water for the entire weekend!
