    Unusual and excellent!

Heard this was an excellent restaurant in Lisbon and was surprised to see they had a place inside TimeOut Market. Tried to get a counter seat but it was busy so opted to walk up and order. Unusual combinations of some of the freshest fish. Tuna, oysters, scallops and octopus. Had to try the Octopus Hot Dog. Perfectly grilled Octopus on a bun with lettuce and drizzled aioli. Unbelievably delish!!! If you like Octopus... this is a must! Grilled scallops came 3 big sea scallops in a nice mango relish. Good choice if you want something light and you're in the market.

I got the octopus hot dog from here because it was too zany to pass up. The roll itself was a regular hot dog roll. Honestly, I wouldn't have minded paying a euro or so more for a better quality bread, but I'm guessing at the volumes they do this is a logistical choice for them. The octopus itself was cooked wonderfully, well-seasoned and tender yet crisp, not rubbery in the slightest. The sauce and cool toppings really tied it all together. Would give it a try if you're here. Makes a pretty fun photo op too!

I went to sea me recently, My food wasn't good. They have couple dead razor clams. So the food we had weren't good. But the service here is very nice. I don't think I would be back due to my experience here.

Sat down here for a drink and some oysters. The oysters are cleaned and prepared right when you order them. They're super fresh and the Seam Me champagnes are great. Service was also really great. The menu has a lot of delicious looking food and I'd love to come back when I didn't just come from brunch so I can try more!

Seafood not so fresh. Razor clams are 18 euros and it's a huge disappointment. Would get both octopus and razor clam from other stalls

3.5 stars. I came to Lisbon to eat seafood. Looking through all of the menus at various restaurants at Time Out Market, the offerings at Sea Me looked the most interesting. As I waited for my order to arrive, I saw some incredible dishes being served. For instance, the nigiri looked amazing. My experience started rough. I was the only one in line to order, but the cashier ignored me while she tried to get the attention of another employee, who was yapping on her phone. There were several people impatiently waiting to order when the cashier was ready to take orders. I ordered the salmon with egg and chips, and the scallop and shrimp tagliatelle. I thought the salmon was tasty and it was cooked perfectly. The egg was perfectly golden in the middle. The chips are made in house and were quite crispy and flavorful. The pasta dish was hit and miss. I thought the scallop was the best part. It was cooked perfectly. Seared on the top and bottom, but not overcooked. The shrimp tasted great as well. I thought the pasta could use some additional seasoning. It was a bit bland.

FOOD POISON ALERT!!!! I contacted SeaMe, but their managers ignored us. We are from North America, visiting Lisbon every New Year . I have been to SeaMe Baixi restaurant and Time Out location many times, I have always loved their food; however, this time I am very disappointed. On Jan 2nd, the new year celebration, my boyfriend and me spent almost 100 EUR just for small snacks .It is quite expensive compared to local price. We ordered Scallops, Tuna Tataki, Shell fish, 2 glasses of wine. The scallops tasted a bit strange, we mentioned to the server immediately, but she said they were fresh and we should not worry; However, We got back to our hotel that night and had sick stomach , both of us were throwing up all night with sever food poison. We had busy schedule to go to Porto next day, it was lots of suffering. I threw up on the train, while My boyfriend was passing out, and it was very painful and stressful. We tired to contact SeaMe, but they ignored us.

Why you should come here? Cause you're a seafood lover, and you're on a "see food" diet (aren't we all!?!?) Where is it located? Inside the Time Out Market(food court side)...go towards the left as you enter the front entrance, the right side of the market (Mercado de Ribeira) is the more traditional market, but is still worth a visit as well (go EARLY!) What you should get? SMOKED SARDINE NIGIRI WITH SEA SALT COD NIGIRI WITH OLIVE OIL AND ALMONDS you won't find these types of nigiri anywhere else! Totally unique, totally DELICIOUS! OCTOPUS "Hot Dog" yup, you heard that right! Being born and raised in Hawai'i, I've had my share of octopus in just about every preparation imaginable, but none more soft and buttery than in Lisbon. The Portuguese are seriously MASTERS of the octopus! Take advantage of Lisbon's bounty of seafood selections, you won't be disappointed! ALOHA!!! Shaka Meter: \uuu/ \uuu/ \uuu/ \uuu/ \uuu/ 5

Order the nigiri. Drop the mic Walk away. It's a top 5 sushi bite you would have had.

We got the sardines and codfish sushi pieces and it was just amazing! The fish was so fresh. The flavoring was perfection. The sardines was so flavorful, paired with the sushi rice and it brought it to a whole new level. The codfish was super soft, almost melt in your mouth. It was both a beautiful and delicious dish.

Out of the two place we tried in the Time Out Market, Sea Me was definitely my favorite. There is an actual restaurant in Lisbon with great reviews, but the stall in the market was convenient for us so we gave it a try! The Octopus Hot Dog sign caught our eye and when my husband and I saw that we had to try it. Both of us ordered it, and after about 10 min of waiting our "hot dogs" were ready. They were fantastic! The bread was thick and soft with a bit of butter, while the octopus itself wasn't overly cooked or chewy. The aioli served on top complimented it all, and the chips made a great side. I would definitely eat this again if given the opportunity.

Asked the bartender in one of the Time Out Market bars who had the best seafood inside the Market.. he said Sea Me by far. They have two other places in town that are highly rated, so I found a seat in the "alleyway" behind the main market room. Delicious sparkling Rosé to start, and then enjoyed the Asian inspired sardine and codfish nigiri and some of their farmed oysters from Rita Formosa. All were delicious and a nice light lunch on my 10 mile journey around town.

We had high expectations. The place was way too pricey. The scallops although were great. The octopus hotdog didn't have much flavor

Average food, average service and very expensive. This would not be my first choice in Lisbon

I would leave small children at home with a babysitter, as trying to maneuver through the crowds with a stroller is just too much to deal with. We liked the tacos, burgers and pad Thai. I'd been to other Time Out Markets, in the US, and found them places which I had little desire to return to. Not this one, to which I returned at least 3 other times. It wasn't just the easy appeal of an amply-poured glass of great wine at an equally great price, but the whole vibe of the place, featuring the best of Portugal's best. Literally, everything looked appealing here; choosing what to eat to accompany that wine? That was my sole dilemma. One side of this place has eateries that feature really well-priced nightly specials, often selling out, which gives you an idea of their popularity. I frequently found myself in another stretch of the place, opting for a wonderfully fresh sushi platter that ran about $30US. If you do nothing more than come for food and drink you'll likely not notice that there's a really wonderful, artsy shop (A Vida Portuguesa) that features unique and beautiful gifts for yourself or others. Also, a bookstore upstairs and, during the daytime, a huge farmer's market/green-grocery in another space attached to the main hall, but easily overlooked. I highly recommend this Time Out Market, even suggesting you plan your stay to be in close proximity. That's how much I liked it.
