We spotted White Ibis, Blue Heron, Royal Tern, Osprey, Blue Crab and even a ray. We paddled through narrow channels in the mangroves, spending about three hours enjoying the sights of the St Joseph Sound.and Caladesi Islsnd. Luis is a fantastic guide and naturalist, and even if you already paddle, his instruction is really helpful. This trip is a must do! We will definitely do this again when we return.

He took us on a private pontoon ride and pointed out all these crazy expensive houses that belong to famous people. He also played some awesome reggae music that fit the vibe so perfectly. An unexpected highlight was the dolphins. YES, DOLPHINS! Like, right next to the pontoon! There was a playful baby dolphin that kept swimming up next to us and blowing water. It was so cool to see an actual, real-life dolphin so close and in the wild! The tour lets you choose between renting a kayak or a paddle board. You don't have to decide until you get there. I chose paddle boarding, which was much easier than I had anticipated. I steered myself into the trees a few times, but I mostly got the hang of it. (; We paddle boarded to a BEAUTIFUL, remote part of the beach. We were barely south of Caladesi island, where the beach was covered in seashells, and there was no one around. It was picturesque -- white sand, clear blue water, waves. And it was a place that we wouldn't have been to on our own. It was breathtakingly beautiful. To top it off, we didn't have to worry about bringing our phones with us to take pictures since Andrew took pictures for us on his phone and shared them with us through text. It totally added to the tranquility and was an above-and-beyond aspect of the tour. When I come back to Clearwater Beach, I am 100% booking a tour with Paddle Out Adventures again!!

We had a first timer on a jet ski and and experienced person. They helped us learn how to get on the jet skis and use them and make sure we were safe before we headed off. The guide was knowledgeable about the area and we learned a lot about the area. He let the more experienced person play with the JetSki having some fun safely. He even let me borrow his sunglasses because the water was hitting my eyes and he did not have to do that. It was very kind. We will definitely be going back when we bring other family members.

I visited the Clearwater Acquarium as part of a corporate awards dinner, so my visit was different…read morethan many who go during the day (although I have visited as a tourist a few years back). My group was brought over from our hotel on trolleys and directed up a flight of stairs. Once we found the correct door, we were led into the dolphin room. We had cocktail hour there, which was cool - as we could walk around the dolphin exhibit while enjoying a cocktail (or 3). After cocktails, we went upstairs to a ballroom area and had dinner and drinks, listened to award presentations, and then had a live band with karaoke. The catering staff was great, although the fish entree was cold and not very flavorful (not the fault of the aquarium IMO). This was a highlight of my business trip and I thoroughly enjoyed the dolphins.

Literally no fish whatsoever. You walk around the tank as you walk around the aquarium there are window all the way around, but again, the tank was completely empty. There were other areas of the aquarium that were under construction due to either renovations or expansion. Due to this there were multiple enclosures that had no fish are animals to view. It's a little disappointing when you are traveling for vacation and the aquarium was the place that your daughter was looking forward to the most. All this while still charging full price for admission. All that being said, they have a very friendly and informed staff and volunteers that clearly do a lot for the marine life. It is very commendable the way they are nursing injured marine life back to health. Definitely more of a rescue center than an aquarium.
