This was the highlight of our vacation to Clearwater Beach. We had SUCH a great time on the water with Captain Andrew. He took us on a private pontoon ride and pointed out all these crazy expensive houses that belong to famous people. He also played some awesome reggae music that fit the vibe so perfectly. An unexpected highlight was the dolphins. YES, DOLPHINS! Like, right next to the pontoon! There was a playful baby dolphin that kept swimming up next to us and blowing water. It was so cool to see an actual, real-life dolphin so close and in the wild! The tour lets you choose between renting a kayak or a paddle board. You don't have to decide until you get there. I chose paddle boarding, which was much easier than I had anticipated. I steered myself into the trees a few times, but I mostly got the hang of it. (; We paddle boarded to a BEAUTIFUL, remote part of the beach. We were barely south of Caladesi island, where the beach was covered in seashells, and there was no one around. It was picturesque -- white sand, clear blue water, waves. And it was a place that we wouldn't have been to on our own. It was breathtakingly beautiful. To top it off, we didn't have to worry about bringing our phones with us to take pictures since Andrew took pictures for us on his phone and shared them with us through text. It totally added to the tranquility and was an above-and-beyond aspect of the tour. When I come back to Clearwater Beach, I am 100% booking a tour with Paddle Out Adventures again!! read more

I traveled down to Clearwater for my Bachelorette weekend and Paddle Out Adventures made our trip that much more memorable! Captain Andrew was awesome - he was so down to earth, fun, and witty. The weather was cloudy and we had bits of sunshine, but Captain Andrew made sure we had a great time nonetheless! We even saw a few dolphins along the way and the gulf was beautiful. He takes you to an area where you will be safe from other boaters to freely paddle. Oh AND he takes great photos and will send you a link to have easy access to your fun memories. Had a great first paddle boarding experience! I was a little nervous and wobbly at first, but the waters were very calm and I felt much more comfortable shortly. It was cool making our way around the mangroves to the beach. Glad I gave it a shot here! Captain Justin and his young son were solid guides -- they brought ice water along for us, answered all our random questions, and just showed us all a good time. My friends and I were planning a bachelorette trip, and decided to book a 4 hr excursion. Best decision we could've made. We saw a pod of dolphins while going to the paddle board destination! We had a great time paddle boarding and just seeing different islands and live sand dollars!! Very safe and relaxing pontoon boat ride. We didn't get sea sick whatsoever. And Captain Andrew/Andy/Andres was a great phenomenal captain. It was 4 girls and we had concerns being alone with a male in our bathing suits but we were very comfortable and he took wonderful photos for us that would've been impossible without him!! This is one of if not the best experience on Clearwater beach. Over the years we have done nearly every tour and trip in Clearwater but going out with Capt Justin is like hanging out with an old friend. This trip doesn't feel like another tourist excursion. We did three hours which is perfect. Bring your own snacks and drinks, the captain has a cooler with ice and he provides bottled water. If you enjoy music bring a waterproof Bluetooth, it can strap on the back of your paddle board. The boards are very stable; it was our first paddle board experience as well as another couple and we all had a flawless outing. There are some real treats out there if you're willing to put in effort and get to them. I give this your my highest recommendation! A+ experience. This experience was AWESOME and made our impression of Clearwater Beach the best beach we've ever been to... and I've been to many a nice beaches all around the world. My son really wanted to go kayaking so I was searching for a kayak rental but stumbled upon this kayak tour opportunity only the night before. Their website stated to call if only 48 hr notice so was worried we were too late to book but I called in the morning and our family was out on the waters only hours later. I know we were lucky this time. Note to self, to book in advance next time ;) Our family including our 8 and 12 yr old and our 1 yr old pup Sunny, met with Captain Andrew who had already loaded up the pontoon with kayaks and paddle boards. Captain Andrew was extremely welcoming of our dog, allowing him to roam around anywhere on the boat and letting us know even before we asked, that Sunny was welcome to go up on the seated areas too. We were nervous he'd jump into the water but luckily that only happened (repeatedly) once we were on the kayaks. Spoiler warnings! Might be better to be surprised than to read my review here! Everything was perfect about the trip. Hopping on the pontoon passing by fancy houses you wouldn't be able to see otherwise, kayaking through a mangrove tunnel to get to a remote part of the Northern end of Clearwater beach where I braved swimming to the edge where the water color changes darker (the life jacket I had from kayaking made it less scarier), Captain Andrew waving me back in later letting me know a giant fish (the name escapes me) was swimming near by (with the water color so clear, had I seen it I may have freaked out), getting out to a cute little island called picnic island with a mermaid chapel ;) where I was able to unleash my little pup, trying out pontooning, sitting/floating around on the sand bar (the sand bar was my son's favorite) The cost was $60 per person for two hours and $90 for three hours. With a family of four, I was nervous about the price and had been undecided about adding another hour to get to picnic island, but family voted to extend the trip and it was very much worth it! I had looked into kayak rentals elsewhere and the price was comparable. If you include the guided private boat ride that takes you out to those locations, this trip ended up being a deal! Can't wait to take my extended family down to Clearwater Beach next time and this tour will certainly be on our top of the list of things to do. read more

My family of 4 had a terrific 3 hours out on the water! Justin was very responsive and accommodating to our group and Captain Andrew was a great guide. While staying for a few days in Clearwater Beach, I was looking for a calm water kayaking experience. Our concierge recommended Paddle Out, so my friend and I scheduled a three-hour paddle. Justin, the owner, was very friendly and helpful on the phone and I appreciated that they had availability with fairly short notice. It turned out the weather was extremely windy today and I assumed we wouldn't be able to go, but Captain Andrew knew just what the winds were doing (as any good boat captain should!) and took us out of the wind to a calm, protected, secluded and beautiful spot at Caladesi Island State Park. We had the best experience! It was gorgeous. He was so kind and made us feel really comfortable. When I mentioned I hadn't tried paddle boarding, he took us to another spot and gave us a quick lesson and let us try out the boards on his boat. He also gave us a fun boat tour of the area, had a lot of interesting facts, and really made our time on his boat enjoyable. We had a lovely day and I would highly recommend Paddle Out. We had difficulty finding the place and then hit bad traffic on the bridge into Clearwater Beach area and showed up 30 minutes late... My wife and I stayed in Clearwater with our two boys - 21 and 14 - and we hired Justin to take us paddle boarding one afternoon. The customer service was top notch, and Justin basically offered to go whatever we wanted, but did highlight some of the better spots for paddle boarding. His equipment is top of the line - not cheap. So if you are either experienced or learning, you'll have a better experience with his paddle boards. We finished early and Justin offered to take us out to the bay (no extra charge - he just wanted us to get our money's worth he said) and he spent more than the allotted time showing us some of the nice homes, dolphins, and other sights in the area. GREAT guy, and GREAT company. We were very happy, and the boys had a blast. read more

Doing a family vacation in Florida required that we do a ton of water activities & paddle out adventures was the one we were looking forward to the most! Andrew was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. We took the paddle boards out to the cove and paddled to a secluded area of the beach. Our entire group had never paddle boarded before so Andrew made sure to give us all the tips and tricks to staying afloat. Knowing we would be out on the water we all opted to keep our phones on the boat. Andrew was awesome & took some photos for us through out the adventure (free of charge!). My friend and I booked a couple hours adventure last weekend and had a great time!! Booking was super easy through the website and had several options as far as days/time. Jason was our fearless captain for the day and was awesome. It ended up only being the 2 of us on the boat. We had a great trip out to the paddle board area and Jason let us know the best way to go to a secluded beach that connected with the ocean. We had a great time wandering around the beach and found a really cool area people had signed shells and added them to tress - very cool and we added a shell for us (there is a sharpie attached to the tree). After we paddled back to the boat Jason asked if we wanted to take a ride around - of course we did!! We saw a manatee but no dolphins (to be fair I'm dolphin repellant and they rarely come out for me!) All in all it was a great time and we will definitely book a trip on our next Clearwater trip!! Captain Andrew let us take the lead as far as where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see. We started off kayaking to a beautiful secluded beach. Came across this place while thinking about going out on a boat. We took a pontoon boat out with Captain Andrew. This was probably our favorite part of our Florida trip and this includes Disney and Universal as well as hanging out in Clearwater. He took us out, we saw lots of dolphins and had lots of fun. He was so nice and made our kids comfortable and ready to explore. The beach he took us to was so nice it's like we had it all to ourselves (it was a Monday). My wife and I went out on a two hour paddle board trip and we had a fantastic time!
