    Caladesi Beach

A must do activity in Clearwater!! I've taken the tour twice, and would definitely do it again. Andrew was an awesome captain and went above and beyond to make our tour extra special. Caladesi Beach is GORGEOUS!!! Kayaking to and from is an easy and peaceful 15 minute experience.

Yes. She's blind. Paddling for the first time EVER. And yes...she got the dog on the board within the first 15 minutes!

Wow! What an amazing day out! Captain Andy was so personable...took us to two small islands to swim, explore and Paddle Board. He was so helpful and instructive with one of our party (who is blind). We even were able to get her AND her Seeing Eye Dog on a board and paddling around. Cannot day enough about the overall experience. XOXO

    An awesome day!

Wow! Just an awesome day with Paddle Out Adventures! Pontoon boat, then kayaked to a secluded beach, among the mangroves - walked a few feet to the ocean - couldn't have been a better day and couldn't have done it without the crew from Paddle Out Adventures. Parking right out front - so highly recommend and will do this again, for sure!

My friends and I were planning a bachelorette trip, and decided to book a 4 hr excursion. Best decision we could've made. We saw a pod of dolphins while going to the paddle board destination! We had a great time paddle boarding and just seeing different islands and live sand dollars!! Very safe and relaxing pontoon boat ride. We didn't get sea sick whatsoever. And Captain Andrew/Andy/Andres was a great phenomenal captain. It was 4 girls and we had concerns being alone with a male in our bathing suits but we were very comfortable and he took wonderful photos for us that would've been impossible without him!! He was damn near a professional! The team was very helpful and always got back to me when I called if they didn't pick up the first time!! When I come back, I'll definitely be booking another excursion!!

My husband and I booked this as something different to do together on our weekend away. We had an excellent time this am with Andrew as our captain. He customized our boat trip and paddle experience to our liking and was informative along the way. We will be back to and with the kids next time.

We happened to walk by their boat at the marina with their ad posted in front. The next day, I talked my reluctant husband into booking a two hour paddleboard tour, and neither of us regretted it! Captain Andrew was so friendly and welcoming, and he truly made our vacation extra special! It was a 4-in-1 adventure... a private boat ride and tour around Clearwater, paddleboarding (complete with instructions since it was our first time out), a swim at a secluded and GORGEOUS beach, and spotting dolphins on our ride back! If you want to escape the crowds at Clearwater, this is the tour to book. So much fun! (And be sure to ask Captain Andrew for lunch and dinner recommendations... he won't steer you wrong!)

My nephew and I went out w/ Captain Andy today and ended up having the boat all to ourselves. Neither of us had been kayaking before and Captain Andy had patience and made it relaxing and fun. He was very personable and easy to talk with as well. Went out to Caladesi Island through mangroves, looking for shells and exploring on the beach. It was a great day out and highly recommended!!

While staying for a few days in Clearwater Beach, I was looking for a calm water kayaking experience. Our concierge recommended Paddle Out, so my friend and I scheduled a three-hour paddle. Justin, the owner, was very friendly and helpful on the phone and I appreciated that they had availability with fairly short notice. It turned out the weather was extremely windy today and I assumed we wouldn't be able to go, but Captain Andrew knew just what the winds were doing (as any good boat captain should!) and took us out of the wind to a calm, protected, secluded and beautiful spot at Caladesi Island State Park. We had the best experience! It was gorgeous. He was so kind and made us feel really comfortable. When I mentioned I hadn't tried paddle boarding, he took us to another spot and gave us a quick lesson and let us try out the boards on his boat. He also gave us a fun boat tour of the area, had a lot of interesting facts, and really made our time on his boat enjoyable. We had a lovely day and I would highly recommend Paddle Out. In fact, I'd schedule with them again in a minute!

Great time and a great captain! He took his time showing us how to paddle board and even took us to find dolphins.

My group was brought over from our hotel on trolleys and directed up a flight of stairs. Once we found the correct door, we were led into the dolphin room. We had cocktail hour there, which was cool - as we could walk around the dolphin exhibit while enjoying a cocktail (or 3). After cocktails, we went upstairs to a ballroom area and had dinner and drinks, listened to award presentations, and then had a live band with karaoke. The catering staff was great, although the fish entree was cold and not very flavorful (not the fault of the aquarium IMO). This was a highlight of my business trip and I thoroughly enjoyed the dolphins.

Literally no fish whatsoever. You walk around the tank as you walk around the aquarium there are window all the way around, but again, the tank was completely empty. There were other areas of the aquarium that were under construction due to either renovations or expansion. Due to this there were multiple enclosures that had no fish are animals to view. It's a little disappointing when you are traveling for vacation and the aquarium was the place that your daughter was looking forward to the most. All this while still charging full price for admission. All that being said, they have a very friendly and informed staff and volunteers that clearly do a lot for the marine life. It is very commendable the way they are nursing injured marine life back to health. Definitely more of a rescue center than an aquarium.
