Enjoying the view from the private porch in unit #1
Ruthie V.

Another relaxing weekend at the Sea Breeze. The BF went out and caught fish everyday. I enjoyed the calm of the water and views. We loved the sunsets from the private porch in our favorite unit #1. The owner, Steve is so friendly and fun to be around. He makes our stays feel like home away from home. We really needed to get away and I couldn't have had a more relaxing and fun weekend with my honey. It was hard to come back to work! As for Jarad K's shallow review, we've stayed at other resorts around the lake and this is by far the best so ignore his stupid review.

Cliff House, SF. Ca.

This is my fourth time coming, it's like paradise here at its best. This classy resort has a great breeze in the evening, and lots of sunshine during the day! My cottage is super clean and the staff was. very very kind and gracious people. I had such a good time here today fishing, I catch big fish, all kinds, I will enjoy this paradise in the future, tomorrow and don't forget to mention the day before when I got here. I was tired But as soon as I saw the beautiful roses I new my great weekend would begin, Steve And Ronnie are the best host you can ever imagine. It's like Hawaii and you do not wanna leave. Ps. Casino it's just 25 minutes up the road.

She had been here before but it was my first time and I can't say enough good things about it. Deanna and Cab clearly love their place and share it freely. We did the farm tour which was very inspirational and informative for wannabe gardeners like us! I feel inspired. We had fresh eggs and fresh picks from the garden at every meal. Beautiful views and so relaxing to just sit out in nature. Don't miss the stars at night and do not miss getting the fried chicken basket! Our cozy cottage was clean with a great view of the garden and ocean. The bed is very comfortable and the provided space heater helped kept us warm at night. Only con I have to say is the pillows were very flat so we had to sleep with both pillows on top of each other for more support. I love that it had a full kitchen so you can cook delicious meals with fresh ingredients such as the daily delivered eggs straight from the chickens and greens you pick from the garden. If you want a break from cooking or want a meal prepped for when you arrive, you can add in the option of a dinner or picnic basket to your reservation as well. For the activities such as chicken chat and goat gab we weren't able to attend; it was raining pretty heavily during our stay so we opted to stay indoors and enjoy the cozy cabin. For the moments where the rain would stop, it was nice to explore the land, making stops by the bunnies and chickens with our dogs. Definitely planing on coming back! Would love to experience Mar Visita during the spring or summer!

It was very cozy and had great amenities, including our own bathroom and kitchenette. I adored the little porch of our cottage. It was a great spot for stargazing at night. The grounds are very peaceful and quiet, and you can catch sight of some critters wandering around the grounds sometimes. My husband and I had a few animal sightings here, including a deer right outside our cottage! The facilities include a pool, a garden, a studio (which wasn't offering any classes due to COVID), archery, hiking trails, fire pits, and even a wood-fire oven you can use for cooking pizza! They also have bikes and water activities which were free to use. The hiking trails have vista points where you can meditate or catch a beautiful sunset or sunrise. There's something really peaceful about getting up super early in the morning to watch the sun rise and nature wake up along with it. Some things to note (from what I can remember): -No cooking meat or eggs on the grounds. -No pets allowed. -No drinking or smoking. I'm not really an outdoors person. I usually prefer to travel to places with more activities and sights to see, so we also explored the towns around the lake nearby besides just staying here the whole weekend. But I appreciated the nature and tranquility that Mandala Springs offered. It's perfect if you're looking for a short weekend getaway from city life.

My extended family has been coming to WP for 44 years now, and while I can't always get away from the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley life to join in, I appreciate every moment I spend here. It's just regular people from the Bay Area escaping the madness for a little while, reconnecting with family and friends and enjoying a beer (or two...) It is as enjoyable as you make it. While there is a pool for adults and kiddos, bocce ball, tennis court, bbq area, swings and playground, there are also porches on each cabin, which is a key ingredient for us. Time spent on these porches growing up with family and friends have created memories that will last a lifetime, and I thank the Strickler family for every one.
