The owner is always in house working that coffee machine and just keeping a friendly eye on all that is going on. This place looks and feels rustic yet has some quirky and ever changing displays. I love the baked eggs with chorizo sausage in a rich tomato salsa served with crusty bread. Another favourite is the warm Camembert share plate with olives, peppers and crusty bread. The menu is always evolving with weekend specials a pleasant surprise. During the weekends it gets very busy and service may be a little slow. Not too loud and a wonderful modern interior with helpful staff. I've had a bit of a sweet tooth lately so I ordered the brioche toast with caramalised bananas, topped with maple syrup and came with a side of ice cream. This was delicious! The only downside was the coffee but I have to admit I've been very spoilt lately with the likes of St Ali, Dukes & Seven Seeds. All in all, I will be back.
