Lasagna alla Bolognese
Karen S.

We stopped here for a beer and a "snack". I had the lasagna alla bolognese. The portion was small, but perfect for a snack. It's one of the best I have had. Not sure what the cheese inside was, but it was smooth and wonderful. My husband had the bruschetta with tomatoes, garlic and sardines and loved it. Tomatoes tasted like they were just from the garden. The staff was great and the view from the terrace was beautiful. The place was packed at 3 pm and it's easy to understand why. Check out this place after a hike. You won't regret it.

Seafood Spaghetti
Jeffrey Z.

Cute place in Corniglia, right in the square where the train shuttle drops you off. There is a view of the water and the vineyards which is nice. There is free wifi, and the service is fine. We had the shrimp pizza and seafood spaghetti. Both were bland, and the seafood spaghetti didn't really have much seafood.

Our Airbnb host said this was the best place in town and it did not disappoint! We went twice. Very good food, great views, fair price

The pesto gnocchi is amazing. We also had the pizza with tomato, Parmesan, and arugula - fantastic! Also it has a lovely view of the sea.

We only had beer, but Internet is very fast and there is no cover charge! Fast service and good English from our waitress.

Dau Tinola - Margherita pizza for lunch.

We'd hiked for two hours along the red trail from Manarola. It was lunch time. We were in…read moreCorniglia. We needed nourishment. So our butts found seats at Dau Tinola. Our waiter (white hair, older man) seemed cold but at least prompt and professional. We ordered mixed salads, espressos and split a margherita pizza. The server provided us with a bottle of balsamic vinegar and a bottle of olive oil for the salads. This was the first meal during our trip to Italy where we discovered the incredible quality of the real legit stuff (NOT supermarket-bought junk in the U.S.) The pizza was quite tasty although a little on the soft side, so there was room for improvement in Dau Tinola's cooking. Espressos were great. I liked the outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day, and Dau Tinola's location made for good people-watching in the piazza area. It was lunchtime, and we were there in our hiking gear. Dau Tinola was just what we needed. I probably wouldn't recommend it for a nice dinner.

Just before the rain started we were able to sit outside, and the no nonsense waiter took a shine to us. He was most kind. We had the tomato spaghetti and grilled fish, just right, both delicious with the house white wine. A little chaotic as church bells were loud at the end of mass, plus the restaurnt is at the bus stop for those transporting down to the train. But we enjoyed the food and felt well cared for.
