I don't often take time to write reviews, but I was so impressed with this automotive service. I arrived in Deer Park less than a week ago with very little money and serious car problems with my 1999 Saturn Station Wagon. I was met by Matt at the counter, who I explained my situation to, and even though it didn't look good for my transmission or my pocketbook, they repaired a major tranny leak, refilled the line, and charged me at such a MINIMAL rate, I broke down in tears. They allowed me to use my own transmission fluid (to save money) and took me to the Service area, showing me the problem(s) and what they had done to fix them while my car was up on the lift. I have never felt so taken care of and so honestly served. For a mechanic shop, this is UNHEARD OF customer service. They have a customer for life in me. After I obtain work, things won't always be this difficult financially, and I will be able to give them repeat business. I plan to bless them who blessed me. Sculley Automotive, you rock! Wife goes to these wonderful people at Scully's for oil change. She asked if car needed an alignment. They told her she needed new tires BEFORE an alignment. The quote was for $1000. Wife decides to get a second opinion from Les Schwab. They tell her the tires are fine but that she does need an alignment. Cost: $178.00 for flat repair and alignment. Fair brokers at Les Schwab. But Scully's ... Trying to deceive and burn little old ladies is, in my humble view, I dunno, an act of blatant criminality. They will lie to your face to steal your money, it seems. This is a great place to take your vehicle. They are honest and stand by their work. They worked on my AC and when it was not fixed the first time, they had me bring it back it and they took care of the problem. They work on you vehicle and finish it in a timely manner. I cannot thank this place enough. They told me what to do with my car instead of fixing the problem and pocketing the money. Very very good fast great crew can handle any job you throw it at them they solve the problem

After a call from Skully's owner who believes I exaggerated the amount spent, I reviewed my records. I did, in fact, inadvertently include receipts from other repairs during the same period and the total amount spent at Skully's was less than $4,000. Fair enough. Since this visit I have spent an additional annual repair cost of $8400. Some at the dealership and some at other small shops on my farm fleet repairs. However, I stand by my review that the work that was done was done well...but...the things left undone, which caused larger repair bills at the dealership and another small shop in correcting those undone things, like an emergency tightening of the bolts holding the starter on the road several miles from home.. that was just installed at Skully's...as well as the return visits and extended shop time at Skully's fixing what was billed for remains unacceptable. And by 'undone' I mean that things either not completed or parts left off. I fully understand that they want to protect their reputation. That can be done by doing the job completely and right the first time. I stand by what the dealership told me about parts not replaced. I have inspected them and they do not appear 1 year old but appear much older. In fairness, wear and tear are not usuallly assessed visually because driving through fields and rough dirt road can muddle the appearance of the parts. Skully's owner told me they have a 2 year guarantee on repairs...yet I ended up paying more when I returned the vehicle to have repairs completed that were listed on the bill. I don't think I'm unreasonable but I am very particular and detail oriented. I have a farm fleet of 8 vehicles with regular maintenance needs often exceeding $10k per year. I would love to get everything done at a 'one stop shop' locally but feel that no local shop is interested in the same high level of work that should just be normal. I am extremely particular about the work I get done. It is expensive and should be completed the first time with all the finishing touches in place. I don't expect my car to be detailed upon return like in the 'old days' but I like 'neat and complete'. I usually take it in for inspection and repairs before a long trip while towing a trailer full of live animals for hundreds of miles. If I break down the delicate and rare sheep that I breed can die in the heat. For me this is serious business. I expect anyone who does work on my vehicles to take it equally serious. I would be open to discussing how we can make this right and revisit this review. in conclusion: I included the cost of work not done at Skully's in my origional review. That is not fair to them. I have corrected that here. As far as the rest is concerned we will have to figure out how to agree on what needs to be done to restore trust. read more

If you want honest stand behind their work service you want them. We have taken a few cars there and every time they do an amazing job and they are honest about what needs done and what does not. They listen and explain what they can do. I won't go anywhere else and I love they way we are treated. And I know driving off the lot I had great service!! read more

The BEST shop I've ever taken a car to hands down. The guys that work the front counter are so helpful, they explain everything to you, they don't make you feel like an idiot if you don't know cars and what they're talking about, and they're quick with their work. My vehicle broke down on Monday the July 12, 2021. Everywhere was telling me they were weeks out for getting in to even having my vehicle looked at. I got my vehicle towed to Sculley's, as my Dad had recommended them as a local shop. I am new to the area and will continue returning to Sculley's in Deer Park, WA, after my positive experience. The technician at the front desk had asked if I could leave my vehicle with them, so they could try to work it in if they got an opening. The very next day me and my Dad got a call to say they'd been able to look at vehicle. My vehicle appeared to only need a new sensor and they recommended that it was time to get new spark-plugs, if I wanted they could take care of both things the very same day if they could still work in the time. My Dad gave them the okay to go ahead. Surprisingly, they called me Tuesday to say it was ready to be picked up. I was at work so I gave the okay for my Dad to pickup my keys, and I paid the bill over the phone. Tonight I have my vehicle back in my possession and it runs beautifully. My Dad wanted to give an extra shout out to Kevin, who took the time to explain the sensor and how it was sending error signals to the vehicle's computer. I want to give my own shout out to the wonderful team of people who work there, and their patience with my multiple phone calls. They even gave me a ride home on the day I dropped off my vehicle. My engine lights was on and they diagnosed it as a knock sensor. We made an appointment to have it fixed and they gave me the estimated price. Today, I took the car in. They said it would take approximately three hours. They didn't want me to have to sit in their waiting room all day, so they gave me a loaner. The loaner car was clean as could be and well taken care of. Three hours later, my car was done. My invoice for the work had changed. The price went down! When does that ever happen? Do not pay cash at this business and do not expect them to stand behind their work. They fixed my car with a used part that they failed to say they got from junk yard. Kevin the manager is extremely rude and talks down to women. I left a 1 star rating prior due to his behavior. My car is now broken 30 days later from what they fixed. Kevin point blank said because you left me a 1 star rating I refuse to fix your car.I guess when you pay cash they feel or think they can screw people over...think twice before you take your vehicle. read more

One of the best shops I've ever used!!! Jeremy and Daryl (spelling) were some of the best help ever. Brought my truck in to check on the window as to why it wouldn't go down, fixed same day for quite the good price too. New regulator and motor. Will definitely be using them in the future. read more

Long story short, I took my car to a different location and they messed my car all up and couldn't tell me what was wrong with it after several visits. I took it to Sculley's and they knew what the problem was, gave me recommendations and took time to fix my car the way it should have been done the very first time (took two different visits). They also gave me a loaner car while they took care of my car. They were amazing. They also showed me the harsh reality of the damage that was done to my car from the first place I took my car. Always have done me right. Took my truck to four shops, they all tried to tell me I needed a transmission rebuild. I knew it did not. Took it to scullys and they said needs a trans service. Less than $100 bucks and truck running great. My brothers car was having issues, took it to the stealers (dealer) and they said blah blah blah, $3900 to fix. So I took it to scullyys for my brother and he fixed it all, running like new for under $500. I trust this place. I am a pretty good mechanic, but prefer working on motorcycles over cars and have no interest in all the new computer crap and all. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Dishonest, criminals, extremely poor mechanics! Took our van to Sculley's and they did a terrible job. All we needed was a simple tune up and after we paid his outfit $300 we had to take it two weeks later to the mechanic again (a different one) and pay to have a real tune up and fix what he wrecked!
