Last appointment they recommended against giving me the Ozempic but offered no refund of the $75 I paid for it. Between my wife and I, we've tried several different providers here, and the experience has been consistently disappointing. The new doctors don't listen, and video appointments have been low-quality and unhelpful. The level of care, attentiveness, and professionalism that once defined this practice is simply gone. I finally switched to a physician at Sutter Health, and the difference has been night and day. My new doctor was thorough, actually listened, and helped me get the treatment I needed. With that came a whole lot of other issues like PCOS, hormonal imbalances, low energy, high triglycerides etc etc. That's when I discovered LeanMD and started the program with Dr Temkin's team (specifically Kayoko). At first it may seem like a standard calorie deficit diet program. When you combine that, with regular exercise, low carb diet, their supplements and weekly accountability check ins, it makes all the difference. I went from 160lbs down to 136lb in my first 12 months. Then took a break due to travel and other engagements and I was able to sustain the weight loss with slight increase of 3lbs(I have been eating regular diet/not on low carb).
