Great staff and a great bar with great prices. I was in town for work and couldn't be happier i chose this bar to visit.

I love the food and atmosphere at scubas and I get there is short-staffing going on in the restaurant industry but the last few times I've went the service has been below par. Today, we were trying to help out our server by telling him how to split up the bills when we were ordering and he very rudely told us he would later on. Which is fine but wasn't true. I've seen other tables get accommodated to: asking for refills, how food is, etc. but my group was overlooked today and has been for awhile. Then our server came back with the bill and didn't split it saying he "didn't know how to" even though we tried to help him. We waited for him to come back to take our payment for over 10 mins and finally ended up taking it to the bar and I was still overlooked. It sucks that I will probably never be back but until the service improves, it's a no from me. read more

Made a reservation with Steve (Owner) at 1030, Friday, 25Nov for 5pm with my whole family from out of state. Came in just after 4pm. Bartender started breaking down our tables bc of all the business they were going to lose. Owner wasn't there to validate and keep our reservations. Business is one thing, standards and family is another. Will never visit this place again. read more

Probably top 3 best fish tacos. I've had both the normal and the Cajun mahi and honestly, I think the regular ones are the best. The house made chips are awesome too. Staff has always been friendly, cozy atmosphere, great beer selection...I'll definitely keep coming back. read more

Excellent atmosphere. Plenty of entertainment to include, plasma screens all over, pool table, slot machines, jukebox, and dice games at the bar. Miller aluminum pints 5 for $10 on packer gameday and 5 for $10 bud buckets on badger gameday! Daily specials. Very clean bathrooms as well. My family wanted to try here for some place different. Menu selection isn't too much but they keep it small and cook to perfection. We all had hamburgers and really liked them. The only down side is my wife wanted a Dr Pepper and they sell it in cans at $2 each. Otherwise it's a great place to go for basic food or Fish on Friday. This is our preferred place for a burger night. They also do wings. Maybe next time. read more

Came here on a Friday night. It's a small place and can be kinda tight. The kitchen must be small too because during the dinner rush the food didn't come out very fast. It's taken about an hour to get our food so far. This is my first time visiting so it could be just a one night thing. There are lots of TVs here with different channels and individual TVs at the three booths, and arcade games. Scuba's also has a large selection of alcoholic beverages. Right before we were about to ditch (we were hungry and I'd had been an hour), our food came. Out of 10, it was about a 5. I don't think it was worth the hour we spent in the restaurant. Overall, I would recommend Scuba's, but try not to go at a time when it would be busy if you want your food fast or in a rush. read more

Have been enjoying Friday night burgers with house-made fresh guacamole. Tonight it was two varieties of haddock (deep-fried and Bourbon Street-style). Pleasant, low-key surroundings, great wait staff, tasty food and very reasonably priced. Wide variety of beers from smaller breweries, plus the usual from the big boys. Always in the mood for a great burger and saw Scubas kept showing up in our Facebook feed so we decided to give it a shot. Wow! Cool atmosphere. Somewhere between a local pub and a small restaurant. I frequent this bar for Monday night trivia. I have tried many of their dishes and have never been disappointed by anything. Since the times I have been there were for trivia nights, it was always busy and because of this, sometimes the service was a little slow, but the staff was always friendly. read more

These guys were very accommodating about putting the Minnesota Wild hockey game on for me and I have to agree that their burgers are fantastic. I had the Upside Down burger on a pretzel bun and it definitely hit the spot. They had a little hiccup with my order but ended up giving me a free drink for the trouble in addition to genuinely feeling bad about it. There are a ton of TVs and video porker to boot. Spend the night in Appleton with my honey... we were looking for a good burger joint... we stumbled onto this little gem... we drove past it heading to another place that was closed, glad it was... we thought it was a scuba shop. Big mistake... We had awesome burgers... They were cooked as you request and very juicy... I had the PB and J burger decided to be a little crazy it was actually very good and the portobello mushroom fries were scrumdilicios.. my honey had a mushroom and swiss with fresh mushroom, mmmmm, our normal go to it was fantastic... not only was the food wonderful so was the service... Came here on a Friday around 4:30. Waited a while before someone came over. Waitress was nice, took our order, and we never saw her again. Somebody else brought our food out, nobody asked how our food was, and we had to track someone down to get our bill. Perch and fries were super greasy with small portion, but boyfriend's haddock was good. Probably will never return. read more

There is seriously nothing bad on the menu. Everything I've ever had is fabulous. I highly recommend the fish tacos. Unfortunately it's so packed on Friday nights so that deters me from going. My rating is for their Hamburger. I have lived in Appleton for roughly 10 years. This is the best bar burger in town. In fact, I may prefer theirs to Stone Cellar and Sap. I've been to Scubas about 50 or so times total and it's always great. The food is good yet super reasonably priced and every booth has a TV. The audio is clear for sports games, the service is faster than most places, the wifi works, and everything is generally great. I've never had a specific problem so I'd recommend Scubas to anyone. read more

Food is amazing, great atmosphere, good prices. Only complaint is they are always slow. No matter what time of day, weekday or weekend, they are always understaffed. As a result the service is VERY slow. But if you don't mind the wait, definitely worth a try. read more
