Great fish fry. This is a typical Wisconsin local bar. Had the lunch catfish with potato salad and coleslaw. My mom had Pike with same sides. Excellent catfish will be back.

    Southern comfort old fashioned sour.

This was our 1st visit to Camelot. The perch was probably the best perch I have ever had! The atmosphere is a real local bar in Wisconsin for a Friday fish fry. I would advise on not ordering an old fashioned. It is very very cherry. Also be ready for a long wait time for food. Sit back and enjoy cocktails. We were there at 4:15 on Friday and it took about an hour for our food. It is definitely worth the exceptional fish. We will be returning for sure!

Friendly staff, and a welcoming Wisconsin Tavern atmosphere. They have Shiner Bock and a Stone Arch on tap. They have pickled mushrooms for your old fashioned. The big surprise is that they do a Wednesday night fish fry. A mix of 80's and today's music playing in the background and a couple of pool tables. The sunfish is great and so are the portions!

Baby pike dinner: four pieces of fish with tartar sauce, fries, coleslaw, and two pieces of rye bread with butter.

The fish fry here is a great deal. They have a few different types of fish to choose from--perch, haddock, baby pike, or sun fish--and they give you plenty. My friends ordered the double combo plate with perch, haddock, shrimp, and scallops, and was a fair amount of food for two people. I tried the perch, pike, and shrimp and all were perfectly cooked, with an appropriate amount of breading. The food itself is pretty basic, even plain, but that doesn't mean it wasn't delicious. It's a good, classic no-frills fish fry. Everything, including the sides, was made just right. Camelot is seat-yourself. You can start at the bar (if you're 21+) and grab a table as they open, or just eat at the bar. There's also pool and darts to play while you wait. If you have a group bigger than 4 people, you'll need to push some tables together. This place is packed with regulars though, so expect to either arrive early/late, or split your group up. This isn't a quick service restaurant. Grab a drink and relax, and catch up with friends or family. We even saw a table playing cards while they waited for their food. For us, I believe we ordered around 6:30 and it took about half an hour for us to get our fish. The service was good, and the waiters handled the rush well and were quite friendly. In all I'll say come for the fish, but come back for the atmosphere.

I love this place. I come here all the time. I would suggest the brisket sandwich. I believe you can get the smoked foods everyday now! The Friday fish fry is also amazing!!

You really can't get more Wisconsin than this place. I came here while in town on business (I'm from Madison) and was looking for something on Yelp that looked local and Sconnie. This place is fantastic! It's a Wednesday night at 6 pm and the place is fairly packed with people who are all clearly locals. I sit at the bar (complete with white Christmas lights because 'Sconsin) and ask the bartender what he recommends. He tells me the haddock, and that they go through about 200 pounds of it a week. I mean, most places don't do GREAT haddock anymore. OMG it was soooooo fantastic! Probably one of the best fish frys I have had in a bazillion years. The fish was perfect and huge portions (I couldn't eat it all). Perfectly done light crust and flaky on the inside. Decent coleslaw, super friendly service. I will defiantly come back here next time i am in Appleton!

They have an upstairs tap room, an arcade, and a bar and restaurant downstairs. The service was all-around incredible. The employees were warm, friendly, and professional, and they seemed to know exactly how often to check in without interrupting our meal. They spaced out our drinks, appetizers, and entrees just the right amount. Our server Andrew was particularly great. We had a soda flight of their craft sodas for a super super reasonable price, and every single soda was spectacular. We're spoiled in the craft soda department by virtue of living in Wisconsin (Sprecher, Potosi, etc), but this was definitely the best craft soda we've had. Even the wacky flavors like blue raspberry were rich and flavorful--they didn't taste overwhelmingly artificial. I cannot recommend their soda enough, although I imagine their craft beer is pretty good too! We also had a delicious mocktail, which always goes a long ways in impressing us. All of our food was reasonably priced and so, so, fresh and delicious. The Bavarian pretzel with the beer cheese was heavenly!! We loved our entrees as well. Even something simple like the fries were perfectly done--fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside I don't think we could have asked for a better experience. Everything we had their was top notch, and despite the number of things we ordered, our bill was not very high at all (about $50 for a mocktail, a craft soda flight and a soda pint, an appetizer and two entrees.

We had a private room with pre-set menu that included bread service + soup or salad. Do not skip on the fresh bread with compound butter. I never knew how delicious bacon Parmesan compound butter would be. I want to be a butter snob now and only crave compound butters moving forward. :D Food presentation is beautiful but taste is what wins me over. The tenderloin is magnificent. All of the flavors are in perfect symmetry - the sprouts and mashed potatoes were dynamite. Having broccolini as another vegetable was even better. This is a generously sized dish and easily makes for 2 meals. I can't say enough positive things about my first Fratellos experience and very much look forward to coming back for another taste.

In November 2025 the burger special was the Apple Butter Badger burger, which was a 1/3 pound patty topped with smashed fried cheese curds, sliced apples, apple butter, and wonton strips on a salted pretzel bun. My family and I stopped for dinner so I could give it a try. In addition to the burger I got tater tots. While I don't mind mixing savory and sweet in combos I'm not used to, like having apple on a burger, this particular burger was fine to try once but it's probably not something I'd get again. The apple didn't stand out until the last couple of bites when all I had left was the middle (I eat around the middle first). The wonton strips seemed unnecessary and I would have preferred the pretzel bun without the salt on top. The apple butter was great and stood out in every bite. The tater tots may have been the crunchiest I've ever had and, as someone that has crunch as their favorite food texture, I thoroughly enjoyed them. My wife got the PB&J burger with strawberry jelly and no jalapenos. One kid for the regular Badger burger and the other got just a plain cheeseburger. They also had fries for their side. All of them liked their meals and said they'd get them again. Prices seem super reasonable compared to most other restaurants. The bar area and tables were mostly full, yet our food came out reasonably quick, which was appreciated. Home Burger Bar is a place I'd keep coming back to.

We arrived around 4:30 pm on a Wednesday and were seated immediately for the two of us, which was lovely. I started with a filthy martini (one part vodka, one part olive juice)... and they nailed it. Exactly what I asked for. My mom ordered a whiskey old fashioned press, which she enjoyed. For appetizers, we ordered the French onion soup, deep-fried mozzarella, and bacon-wrapped scallops. My mom also had the soup of the day, which was a turkey pot pie soup. Everything was very good overall. One small note on the scallops, and this is important for context: I personally have a strong aversion to seafood, and my mom is usually careful not to order seafood around me because even the smell can make me nauseous. However, scallops are usually an exception, as they don't tend to have a strong seafood odor. In this case, there was no unpleasant smell at all, which I appreciated. That said, the scallops themselves appeared under-seared and very pale, and the bacon was undercooked. Not raw, just soft and not crispy. My mom agreed it could have used a few more minutes. A minor miss, but worth mentioning. For my entrée, I ordered the French dip, which came with carrots... and honestly, the carrots deserve their own moment. They were tiny, perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, buttery, and balanced with just the right amount of sweet and salty. I love carrots, and these were exceptional. Highly recommend. My mom ordered a Wednesday special trio, which included barbecue ribs, pineapple glazed ham, and a turkey dinner with stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. I'll note that the ham itself was delicious, but the pineapple glaze wasn't quite for me personally, as it leaned a bit too tangy for my taste. That said, the turkey was phenomenal. I had a bite, and it was moist, flavorful, and absolutely something I'll come back for. The mashed potatoes and gravy were excellent. I love stuffing, but this one wasn't my favorite; it tasted slightly sour or underdone to me, though that could simply be a preference thing. I'd still order the turkey dinner again without hesitation. Because it was my birthday, our server Jenny surprised me with a slice of chocolate cake, which was incredibly sweet and thoughtful. I was very full... but yes, I ate the cake, and it was delicious. We also split a Pink Squirrel for dessert, which was rich, nostalgic, and the perfect way to end the meal. Service was excellent throughout the evening. Jenny was warm, attentive, and paced everything perfectly. Food came out efficiently without overwhelming the table. The hostess was also welcoming and kind. The dining room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The lighting was just right, not too dark. We also arrived at a great time, because shortly after our entrées came out, the restaurant quickly filled up. One small suggestion: the website mentions half-price apps and drink discounts, but it isn't clear that those specials are bar-area only. Not a huge issue for us, but clearer wording online would help manage expectations, especially for guests who can't sit at high bar seating. Overall, this was a really special dinner, especially after years of hearing about the Red Ox and never going. More positives than negatives by far. Final rating: 8.5 / 10 We'll absolutely be back... especially for the turkey dinner and those carrots.
