He took the time to answer all my questions, explain the process, and reassure me. My partner, who has skydived before, was also impressed by the professionalism, and care of this family (brothers) veteran-owned business. From the moment we arrived , we watched another group land, seeing first hand the entire team in action (and the excitement of the land). It was clear that they truly love what they do, and their passion shows in how they treat each guest. Though small plane, small airport, safety was clearly the top priority, but they also made sure we fully embraced the experience. Total admission, as the ride up in the small plane was both thrilling and nerve-wracking. Anthony kept me calm and reassured as the ground got farther and farther away, checking in and making sure ready. Once the door opened came the moment--I was not prepared for the power of the wind and noise of it all, but that is was when it all became real. Stepping to the edge and taking the leap was an indescribable moment. But the second we were in freefall, the fear melted away, replaced by the most awe-inspiring experience I've ever had. The views as far as Austin were absolutely breathtaking, and once the parachute opened, there was a peacefulness I never expected. Dangling above the world (yes dangling), taking it all in, was nothing short of magical. If you've ever thought about skydiving but felt unsure, this is the place to do it. Three of us caught 130 fish in four hours and it was SO much fun!…read more Bob Maindelle is no ordinary guide: he graduated from West Point with a BS in engineering and made a living in and out of the service as an environmental engineer and minister. He worked with Mepps to develop his signature MAL lure which we used exclusively on the trip. He has a custom designed center console boat crammed with LOTS of state of the art electronics, including FIVE Garmin LiveScope monitors with a separate LiveScope transducer for each side of the boat. All of us were amazed at the ability to see our lures go up and down and see the fish respond to them. We chose Bob Maindelle because we wanted a good lesson besides catching a lot of fish. He totally delivered on this with detailed demonstration, description and coaching on the very specific ways he fishes the MAL lure vertically and horizontally. He had separate rod and reel setups for vertical and horizontal fishing: slower reels with softer tips for vertical fishing and faster reels with stiffer rods for horizontal fishing. Bob also gave use a good lesson on how he uses his marine electronics. He uses a Humminbird Solix as his primary fishfinder in for sidescan mode and it is linked to his Minn Kota i-Pilot Linked trolling motor so he can mark a location on the fishfinder's touch screen and then send the trolling motor back to that exact location with a few more touches. He carefully explained the importance of positioning the boat downwind of the mark before commanding the trolling motor, so that the boat will be positioned correct when it arrives at the marked location. His attention to detail is exactly what I expected out of a West Point engineer, but he has an excellent ability to explain things so that less technical individuals can understand. Bob also pulled up Canyon Lake on his fishfinder map and showed us a bunch of places for us to try fishing on our home lake. We will certainly bring our boat up to Lake Belton for Bob's on-the-water sonar training class to make sure our electronics are properly installed and the settings tweaked to maximize our units' fish-finding potential. Based on Bob's demonstrations, we will be adding additional electronics to our boat to improve our fishing. White Bass fishing is fast-paced with lots of fish being caught. It is PERFECT for younger anglers who need a lot of action to stay interested. It is LOTS of fun for all ages. Bob makes it all so easy and fun and he is reasonably priced.

I want to thank the lifeguard staff for being very understanding and patient with my 6year old non verbal autistic son. They were accommodating when i explained he has trouble understanding commands while upholding safety rules. They let him idle in areas that weren't in use. When explained his behaviors they didn't make us feel unwelcome. Just for how the staff treated us, I would deff come back!! For $20 bucks I think this is a great place! My family who lives here said they've never seen it not busy BUT it was great for us. Two big water slides that are pretty darn fast. One person only at a time, you can't have a life vest one. One slide you need a tube. The lazy river was pretty nice and calm. They have an outdoor sand volleyball court (looks like 12u height). Had a little ceasar's pizza and nachos's (didn't care for the sauce). Nice big water pool and a shallower area for the kids. Although I imagine it gets crazy busy during the summer, i glad we came here when we did . Thank you!

Seeing him grow in confidence and learn the swim-float-swim sequence has been incredible. Now he can swim, float, and swim again to reach safety if he ever falls into the water. As a parent, the peace of mind this gives me is priceless. Miss Sandra is patient, encouraging, and amazing with kids. The lifesaving skills she teaches are something every child should have.
