Went here with family while visiting Belton for a few days. I haven't been to water park in ages! So it was a nice way to cool off in the Texas heat for the afternoon. It's a basic waterpark. - 2 big slides. One of which being a tube slide. - an area for little kids and toddlers. - lazy river. - swing thing. - cabanas and reserved tables. - snack stand - general store - bathrooms. There really isn't an area where you go and get tubes from a pile. You just kinda have to scope out the lazy river and find a tube that's abandoned. The big slides are CRAZY fast! I am telling you to watch out for the tube slide that's multicolored! The speed I was going was nuts, combined with the fact it had me going backwards unintentionally was kinda scary. I got a bruise trying to position myself so I could drop out into the pool without seriously flipping over or injuring myself. The bruise is still visible 2 days later. I didn't wanna ride that slide anymore. Didn't trust it. All in all, it's a nice little park where you can beat the heat. If you don't mind crowds or tons of people in a lazy river. It's not horrible but it's not awe inspiring either lol. read more

The pools look like they have not been cleaned in weeks. 3. If slides are shutdown, let the kids know this before they grab a tube and begin their ascend to the top only to be told "Sorry." We finally found time to check out this little gem. The park is not a five star resort (thus four stars) but if you are looking for an affordable, fun place to enjoy activities ranging from water slides, tube slides, shallow pools for young kids, a deep pool for older "kids" as well as a refreshing lazy river this is a great choice. We were particularly impressed with the staff and life guards. The life guards were very attentive and professional. The facility has plenty of covered tables for shade as well as some interesting shaded areas available by reservation. The facility also guests to bring their own cooler and food. No glass! Overall Summer Fun was okay. I like the fact you can bring your own drinks and enjoy time with family and friends. I recently scheduled to rent a cabana for the Adult Night. When I booked the cabana, the website stated it was for the entire day. However the receipt stated from 11am-6pm. Immediately I tried to contact this company to confirm what I read online but no answer. I emailed this company in accordance with the recording however did not hear anything back. I tried to notify them the day of the Adult Night but still no answer. Once I arrived to Adult night the manager stated oh yeah you had the cabana for the morning and not adult night. I informed her that I tried reaching out to the company but no response. She states well I haven't checked my emails today and I informed her I emailed her 2 weeks ago. And the company is not open during the work week. $100.00 well spent. I was not offered a refund for the inconvenience. We host a private party here every year and Summer fun management and staff always come through with a great facility for our event. The life guards are always friendly and helpful. Rosalito is always a ray of sunshine when we use the concession. It's nice having a locally owned water park like this in our backyard. read more

Very nice place! I went on a Tuesday, it was very nice not so crowded. So many friendly people, there was a lifeguard I did catch the name of, it was Alex. Very sweet young man, helpful and kind. He made sure my kids felt safe by catching them, and also making sure they had a good spin on the tube when they went down the slide!! read more

Omg we love summer fun so much. Clean, affordable and the life guards will interact with the kids while keeping watch. It's perfect for all ages. I spend most my time in the lazy river! My family was celebrating my little brother's ninth birthday since he's still a little young we wanted to keep it cool and classy we found this place like 30 minutes from our house somewhere fun water park we went over there to have his birthday party we enjoyed it so much the staff was so nice the pool was cool the whole time so it felt amazing the lazy river is the perfect speed a little crowded around 1 to 2 PM but overall I loved it and perfect place to hang out with friends!! read more

Don't waste your money on this place. So before I went, I looked it up online and saw that a life jacket is required for children under 2 and they have life jacket rentals. So when we arrived at the park with my baby son and my daughter (4 years old), I confirmed with the girl at the front if they had life jacket available for rental for my baby and she said yes. So we pay admission and enter the park. We go to the general store to rent a life jacket, it's $5 by the way, well the girl said there were no life jackets available in the infant size to fit my 6 month old. She said we could purchase a baby float instead for $7 so I said ok. We finally all get in the pool and then a lifeguard says "your baby can't be in the pool without a life jacket" and I said "ok they told me their were no life jackets available so I could buy the baby float." She said "you have to have an actual life jacket. It's not our responsibility to provide a life jacket for your child" and I'm like "yeah, it's not... but if you are going to make it a rule that a child under 2 has to wear a coast guard approved life jacket to enter the water.. AT LEAST you guys can tell me if you have one available before I pay for my WHOLE FAMILY to get into this water park only to find out my 6 month old can't even enter the water. The entire staff was just so rude. If you are going to have a rule about life jackets but not have enough of them, the very least you can do is inform people before they pay to enter the park. Summerfun prices are ridiculously high and if you bring food, cooler is $10. The only thing they are distancing are the tables, which means less tables for families in the shade and then they offer the "nice" tables in the shade for $50!! The manager said because last year they lost money and this year closed for a month bc of COVID they lost money so that's their way of making it back. An inexpensive water park that's big enough to stay for six hours and small enough not to lose your kids in. The slides are very fun, and the lines on Saturdays are super short, which means you can go again and again. The lazy river is three feet deep and there are inner tubes everywhere. You just grab and go. There are large bathrooms with changing rooms at the beginning of the park and showers where you can wash off outside. There's two stores: one for snacks and one for renting things like basketballs, or volleyballs. There are courts where you can play them and there is plenty of seating for everyone. This is the type of place where you want to go to a waterpark, without all the crowds and lines and prices like Schitterbahn. We went today for Mother's day because I saw online that mothers were to get in free. We got there and only mothers of 3yo and older get in free! Why do I Not count as a mother because my daughter is younger than 3?! Not only that but my daughter (1.5yo) could do nothing except go in the kiddie pool. We were told to get out of the lazy river because she was too young. She was having so much fun in her flamingo floaty though. $20 paid to swim less than an hour. We got there at 5pm and you have to exit the water minutes before closing time. First time visit and definitely NOT coming back. read more

Every year, I always take my kids on a vacation for the summer. We typically go to bigger theme parks in larger city. Well last year I had just had a baby and I couldn't do all the walking, so I suggested Summer Fun!! Well that was the best time ever for my kiddos!! They were able to ride all the slides, and I was able to act like a big kid as well!! It was a great time and my kids can't stop talking about it!! So glad we gave this park a chance. I went yeasterday with my daughter. We have been coming every summer since she was little. This is why I had to write this review. The "rain check" policy is one of the worst I have ever seen. I came in just befor 3pm and paid for my tickets. It was overxast but I figured if they sold me the ticket they would not be closed. Get inside and I find out thet they were not letting anyone in the water . This park only has water attractions....no arcade or indoors so your ticket is prettty worthless. After an hour of sitting and waiting, I went to feont office to ask for a rain check. They said that I had to wait until 430pm and if we were able still unable to swim...then they would issue a raincheck. I said..DO YOU THINK THAT PAYING $12.50 FOR SWIMING 1.5 HOURS AT BET IS FAIR? .......He said YES. Told him to keep the money because it was the last he will ever get out of me. A raincheck is not a refund....It is a way to keep custimers happy and bring them back. The next time they come they will spend more money because it is free. read more

I went to Summer Fun Water Park for Adult Night, summer 2017. I had a blast (on the waterslides), although it's a quite small park and very outdated (70s decor/design?). I enjoyed bringing our own drinks/food - I just wish I could've brought a cocktail in a plastic bottle, as I'm not a beer drinker and there's not much I can drink in a can, but those are the restrictions. My main complaint is the age of the park and the shape of some of the steps, needing repair. I'm easy to please, so we had a good time! I loved being able to go to a water park without any kids, at night, and with alcohol! read more

We headed on over to this itsy bitsy water park from Harker Heights on a hot day. We were surprised at how small it was, but also happy that it wasn't too packed. The slides were fun, especially the one with the tubes. The lazy river was just lazy enough to relax and chill. All in all we had a nice time and will be back again to get our slide on! read more

At first we had an enjoyable experience. But after less than an hour we had to exit because of lightning in the distance. After waiting almost an hour and a half; they let everyone back in the pool despite the fact that lightning was still striking in the background. Extremely unsafe and unethical! And I know the owners can't control the customers but having other people's kids swimming under me and pushing threw me and my friends and swimming the wrong way on the lazy river was very irritating and made me not want to enter the area . Their no tolerance rule is a joke. I will never visit this place again. This past Thursday I visited with my 2 daughters and 2 nephews. There was a situation with a boy going underwater and poking my daughter 3 times. Twice he poked her butt and once he poked her private area while she was in the lazy river. And I had asked her was it an accident and she said she didn't know. Her cousin asked him about it later because they saw it and he denied it. So I told them to stay away from him. So later my daughter said she called him a pervert. And his mom came and cursed out my daughter. Instead of his mom being an adult and coming to find me or ask her son why is she calling him that she cursed out my daughter, calling her ugly, black b****h, and more. She said this to a child, my child. So yes I'm still pissed off. The manager and a lifeguard was there when I came over and the mother became irate and would not listen to me nor the manager. When he tried to talk to her she would not listen. So he said he would try later after she's 'cooled off'. It was my child she had cursed out and humiliated in front of other at the park, but yet she needed to cool off. She still wouldn't talk to the manger later when he tried to approach her. There was also a camp group there that witnessed her speaking to my child like that. Even they could not believe this woman had the audacity to speak to any child like that especially someone else's. But I guess that's how she speaks to her children. My daughters are still traumatized from the interaction with that so-called adult. All I know is that the management did NOTHING!!!! They have a sign posted stating that profanity will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave the park. Clearly that is not enforced or I guess that only applies to a certain group of people. I was planning on having my baby girl's birthday party there..... NOT!!!! It'll be a cold day in hell before I step a foot back in that place. If I could've given this a zero star I would have because even a one star is too much. read more

I love Summer Fun Water Park. It's a great place to spend time with friends and family. You are allowed to bring in your own food and drinks, which is awesome. There is also a snackbar on the premises, with very reasonable prices. I can't say enough about the staff, they are amazing people. About the 4 stars, and not 5. The large mushroom waterfall needs to be repaired. Last summer it wasn't functioning, and I missed having that to frolic under. The life guards are wonderful and very attentive. But, I did catch one, who was monitoring the kiddie pool, dozing off behind his glasses. He was sitting on the side because there were not that many kiddos in the pool, normally the lifeguards are up and walking around in the pool area. I just splashed water at him and hollered, wake up! He eventually stood up and started walking around. That being said, I also witnessed a lifeguard jump in to assist a young girl, over on the adult side. The young girl was in distress and sinking as she was swimming towards the side of the pool. The lifeguard recognized what was happening, jumped in to assist the girl, got her out of the water, and then called on the senior life guard to assess the young girl and to help locate the parents. The young girl, of course, had been scared about what happened, and started to cry. The lifeguard team was very compassionate, comforting, and did everything right! Overall, it's a great place, a fun experience, and I highly recommend going. read more

We went there with family and friends on third week of June 2018. I loved it. Especially water slides with tube was amazing.

Made my first visit to Summer Fun on 7/28 to take my three grandchildren ages 2,2 & 3. We decided to go after three because the price dropped. As soon as we entered I started to look for the life jackets. They were none to be found. I asked a staff person and was told they do not have them.They advertise a kiddie area but after 5 minutes in the water it was obvious it was too deep for the 2 yrs olds to play safely without life jackets. Twice big kids ran by causing them to go under. I saw another toddler wearing a life jacket and asked her mother where she got it and she indicted the general store. I went up there and asked for three life jackets for under 30 pd. He gave them to me and watched to make sure they fit at NO time did he tell me there was a charge nor did he ask me to pay. We went back to the kiddie pool about ten minutes later he called me over to the side and said I needed to pay (15)for the life jackets or give them back. I told him I didn't have any extra cash with me. I only had a old debit card that was declined. So he stood there while I took the life jackets off three screaming toddlers. At no time was I informed there was a charge for life jackets, it is not on the board that lists prices at the entrance or on the website. I am sure that other parents have been put in this position as well as it was not safe for them to reenter the water. We chose to leave. I am sure that some parents will stay and hope for the best. It's just a matter of time before there is a child fatality here. At the very minimum they need to make it clear prior to entering the park & on their website that life jackets are NOT included. I cannot believe a facility that caters to children would have this bait & switch policy. Guess they are hoping parents will just pay up rather than cause a scene or disappoint their children. I hope other parents read this so they are not caught unaware placing their child's life at risk. I would of never enter this park if their policy of charging for life jackets had been disclosed. You would think that as a matter of liability they would want to make sure children are safe not intentionally withholding the information related to life jackets until parents and kids are already in the park. read more

I went to Summer Fun in Belton today. My son isn't 3 yet so he had to stay in the Kiddie pool, no biggie. I was watching my son and I had to take him out of the pool because a lifeguard told me he could not be in the water without a swim diaper on.. excuse me??? My son is potty trained by the way, and always tells me when he needs to go potty. I talked to the manager, which didn't help. So, I talked to the owner of the park. The owners response was buy him a swim diaper or we should just leave because he could not get in the kiddie pool without a swim diaper, no exceptions. I could not take him into any other part of the pools because he's not 3. But you're telling me that because I will not put my son in a swim diaper (because that will be taking a step back, and make him think that it is okay to pee in the pool) he could not swim. My son was so upset because he could no longer swim because he's not a baby. He's a big boy. It broke my heart. This mama lost it and left. I will NEVER spend one dollar at this 'family oriented' water park ever again. read more
